Collin holding out Bhu Keto Bars

Dear Bhu Keto Bars… we love you! ❤️

Hi! It’s Hip sidekick Michelle here to share one of our FAVORITE new keto finds. And by favorite, I mean THE keto item you need in your life right now!

First, the back story. Collin and I were in San Diego a few months ago and stopped by 7-Eleven to grab a snack – hoping to find something keto friendly. We were super excited when we spotted Bhu Keto Bars and were definitely intrigued by this new product we had never seen before. We each bought a flavor and went on our way.

From the first bite we were hooked, and we went back the next day and bought one of each flavor, then came home and each ordered some more. Here’s why we can’t get enough of these bars…

Bhu tastes like fudge in lots of great flavors!

Seriously, these have a fudge-like taste! They are stored in the fridge, and if you take them out and let them warm up a bit, they are soft like fudge. I really have no idea how they can be so yummy, but they are! I love all the flavors, but Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is my favorite!

They average only 2-3 net carbs!

Each variety has a bit different ingredients and nutrition stats, but most of these bars have 11-12g of carbs and 9g fiber, for a net carb count of only 2-3g. The high fat count makes them super filling, and they are great for an afternoon or evening snack, or if you’re just craving something sweet!

And if you’re curious about the ingredients (keep in mind that they do vary a bit depending on the flavor), here’s the ingredients in the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough bar…

I got one of these bars in my Keto Krate this month and I REALLY wanted to love it…the texture was super pleasing, but for me, I felt like they needed to dial back on the monkfruit because it was overly sweet to me. Maybe it was just that one flavor, though (Salted Caramel Pecan Bhu Fit), which might be slightly different than the regular Bhu bars. I’m super curious now, so I’m going to have to give them another try.

Thanks for the honest comment, Ginger! Hoping you love the other varieties!

      • Ginger

Hi Amber…well I came back to say that I have finally ordered the Bhu Keto variety pack so I could try these and holy smokes, they are SO good. They are completely different than the Bhu Fit bar that I previously tried. I’m hooked. =)

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! SO glad you are enjoying them! Thanks a ton for the update!

    • Michelle (Hip Sidekick)

Oh interesting! I haven’t tried that flavor. It looks like it is not one of the ones classified as the Keto Bars, so I wonder if that makes a difference. I totally have a sweet tooth though, so maybe that’s why I love them so much.

    • Joanne

What is a Keto Krate? Sounds intriguing. ๐Ÿ˜‹

      • Ginger

Oh gosh, Joanne, I’m so sorry for the late reply. I didn’t see this until just now. Keto Krate is a montly subscription box for keto treats. Check them out! They are pretty cool and have great customer service. http://www.ketokrate.com

  2. Ang

Do they sell these anywhere individually to try? ๐Ÿ˜Š

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Ang! We found these at a 7-Eleven. You can also click through the main link above and then click through the “store locator” link at the top of the site. Hope that helps!

      • Kimberly

The Vitamin Shoppe carries them. If you want to try them.

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful tip!

  3. Catherine Amox

How do these compare to quest bars? Seems more expensive. Are they same size? Taste better?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! We have liked both Quest and Bhu. They are the same size, but the Bhu bars are so much better. They satisfy the sweet tooth urge big time, but can keep you full for a while too. Hope that helps!

    • Tina

      Hello, is there an aftertaste?

  4. Amy

I just tried the chocolate chip cookie dough one and it was AMAZING! I could’ve only eaten half of it and it would’ve felt like a satisfying dessert. They are a bit pricey, so I will probably just eat half in one sitting going forward ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! SO glad you enjoyed the Chocolate Chip! Thanks for taking the time to comment, Amy! We sure appreciate the feedback!

  5. Sarah

I want to say that the Double Dark Chocolate Cookie Dough Keto bar is literally the best Keto thing on the Keto market HANDS down. I don’t know what kinda voodoo magic they perform on them to get them to taste SO good. They are expensive, but I got a case on sale for 20 dollars (that is a steal) at my local Health Food Store so I bought the Chocolate, the Vanilla, and the Macadamia Nut ones. I had to FORCE myself not to buy every single box in the store. They taste like a big fat bomb. The texture is more refrigerated fudge than sticky protein bar (Yeah Quest I am talking about YOU). It’s good

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

LOL! I loved your response. I do love these bars as well!

  6. Hadley

I know I’m a little late to this post, but I recently bought the chocolate chip cookie dough bar because one of my friends raves about them on her page, so I finally bought one. Let me say, I am hooked. I don’t know how they do it, but these are the best things I’ve ever tasted. I even prefer this over regular cookie dough, because the texture is just so unique and the flavor is just so good. I may be slightly obsessed, but I’m not mad about it

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I’m so happy to hear this! It’s better late than never!

  7. Lory

How are you calculating 3 net carbs for the white chocolate macadamia bar? The package actually says zero net carbs

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for catching that, Lory! The nutritional information on the bars has been updated. Hope this is helpful! ๐Ÿฅฐ
