It’s no secret that I’m a massive fan of Robin Bielman and I’ve been chomping at the bit for youngest Auprince brother, Drew’s story. And it was sooooo worth the wait because Robin created magic between Drew and the lucky lady to steal his heart, Alejandra.

description Fate brought us back together, don’t you think?”

With a strong engaging story and a chemistry which was perfection, Drew and Alejandra’s romance was paced to create that delicious build-up—sweet and passionate with a small side-serving of angst to create a little tension along the way.

description I’ve been waiting for you, Alejandra, only you.”

But what stole this story for me was the boy’s gran, Rosemary who I’ve adored from the moment we met her in in the first book with her quick wit and cheeky innuendo, love for her family, brutal honesty and daredevil ways, and she will always be a special, and memorable, character for me.

description I hope there’s some Rosemary in me when I’m her age.”

It’s always bittersweet saying farewell to a series and characters you’ve loved, even more so when it’s a favourite author, but with one of the finest epilogues I’ve ever had the joy of reading, Robin closes the door on her American Royalty series in style.

5 - "I’ve said it before… I’ll say it again. I like the way you think." Stars!

The American Royalty series comes to a close in outstanding style with AuPrince Matriarch; Rosemary firmly setting her match making sights on youngest grandson Drew, with his older brothers settled and happy with their women, he is in her cross-hairs of love, and there is nowhere to hide!

After briefly meeting in a night club nine months previously, Drew is more than happy to see the woman who has plagued his dreams ever since in his hotel. Having left before he could fully get to know her, it comes as a shock to Alejandra that upon meeting him again, the spark and chemistry that was between them hasn’t burnt out.

But she’s wary of men, and not totally sure whether she’s over her ex (especially as he is due back in the US in a few weeks), Drew however isn’t scared of a little competition(or aware if Alejandra’s promise to meet up with him on his return), and sets about proving it to her, her ex is firmly in the past. He is her future by showing her what an absolute sweetheart he is, and making full use of the chemistry buzzing between them, a few white lies to his grandma about the depth of their relationship along the way doesn’t hurt either!

I like being around her and I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her close…

Hands down my favourite book in the series, I loved the secondary characters from the senior centre, Rosemary added her own special something to the mix as well, the storyline could not have been better for this couple. Low drama, relevant angst and sexy-times that leave you fanning yourself, Hot Shot is just an all-round excellent read, and the two epilogues finished it all off perfectly.

I love Robin’s books & series, family always plays a big part when it’s based around them, and the banter is always on point, as are the relationships being forged, back stories in place and overall progression as more books are added. This one is no exception and I hope to see more from her in this genre in the future.

❤️ HOTSHOT is LIVE!! ❤️

What can I tell you about this book?
* It's the final book in my American Royalty series but can be read as a standalone. (In case you want to binge read, the first two books are Heartthrob and Sweet Talker.) :)
* It's a slow burn romance
* There's some forced proximity
* My hero is outgoing and sexy and determined and may or may not intentionally drive the heroine crazy when he walks around in nothing but a towel
* My heroine is sweet and smart and loyal and feels a bit feverish when my hero walks around in nothing but a towel.

I'm super excited for you to read Drew and Alejandra's story!

Hot Shot is the third book in Robin Bielman’s American Royalty series, but it works perfectly fine as a standalone novel. I find such isn’t always the case, but it was here. I have not read any of the prior books in the series, and I understood this one with ease. I am now curious about the prior books, though, as what we got to see of the characters from those books has left me wanting to find out more.

With Hot Shot, we have a story that sucked me in from the very first page. I find I prefer romance books like lots of drama or action, which left me surprised by how much I enjoyed this one. There was certainly plenty to enjoy throughout, but it was nowhere near as intense as the romance books I usually read. It made for a nice change, and I adored how sweet the story was.

Although not quite my usual pick, Hot Shot certainly had me gripped. I finished it in a single sitting as I was hooked, and I’ll certainly be back to read more of the author’s work.

An adorable page-turner! Bielman is a master of crafting the perfect blend of swoony and sweet romance. And she has certainly done it again with HOT SHOT! A clever combo of tropes--a second chance romance and fake relationship with forced proximity--sweeps Drew and Alejandra together like they were destined to be together. Absolutely adored watching these two fall for each other! Not to mention the funniest grandmother ever. Full of humor, heart, and smoldering heat! Highly recommended to lovers of passionate and heart-melting romcoms.

A delightful blend of heat, heart, and humor - Hot Shot is the perfect capstone to the American Royalty series.

And I am forever in love with the Auprince family.

Yes, all of them.

Maybe even mostly Grandmother Rosemary who is a scene-stealer extraordinaire and brought many laughs along the way. I loved her role in this story particularly. I loved how she bonded and connected with Alejandra. And mostly I loved how #goals she is because if I can be half as fun as her someday, my life will have been a success.

Anyhow, I digress...because while Grandmother Rosemary may have stolen the show, that doesn't mean I don't also have a whole lot of love for Drew and Alejandra. The chemistry between these two was steamy, electric, and yet somehow still very sweet. I loved the pace of their relationship. I loved the thoughtfulness of it. I love that they balanced that burning hot chemistry with a deeper connection. They were playful with each other (which is basically my favorite thing, ever, in romance), and honest. They were the whole package and - even when I felt like throwing my hands up over the nature of their conflict - they still managed to stay true to themselves and to the relationship they were building.

And it was lovely.

The whole thing. Just lovely.

I have enjoyed this series so much, and I loved getting a sort of wrap-up on all these couples. It was heartwarming and satisfying and a lot of fun to read. Another fantastic Robin Bielman hit -- and I absolutely recommend it! ~ Shelly, 4.5 Stars

Alejandra and Drew are what you might say, fated to be together. From their first meeting, down to the very last page of their epilogue, it was obvious they were meant for each other. And I loved every single page of their story. It's fun, sweet and laugh out loud funny, especially when Drew's grandma is on the scene! I haven't read any of the other stories in this series, but you can bet I will be downloading them now.

Hot Shot by Robin Bielman is a beautifully written, sweet, heartwarming and very entertaining read.

I enjoyed the storyline, it held my interest from start to end, I enjoyed all the characters. I loved seeing the previous couples again and I loved the family dynamic they all shared.

Drew and Alejandra are likable, passionate characters that I easily connected with and I loved watching them get their second chance at love, with a little help from one of my fav characters Grandma Rosemary. She was such a fun character, all she wants is to see her grandsons happy and she's determined to get her wish lol

Hot Shot is the perfect ending to the American Royalty series, each book has been a joy to read and I highly recommend them all!

Robin Bielman is one of my favorite authors. I know she's going to make me fall head over heels in love with her hero and heroine. I knew from reading the previous books in the American Royalty series that I would love Drew. I just didn't know how much.

Drew Auprince is known as American royalty. His family is known for running extremely successful hotels nationally and abroad. Of the three Auprince brothers, Drew is the only one to go into the family business. But instead of just working for his father, Drew had built and opened his own hotel called The Surfeit.

Alejandra Cruz is the activities director for the Davis Senior Community Center. At 25, she seems to fit in and relate to the over 70 crowd better than those her own age. Alejandra is often referred to as “goody-two-shoes” by her twin sister because she always walks the line and never takes risks. Alejandra has recently been dumped by her boyfriend of 7 years so that he can travel out of the country for a year and test to see if they should be together. The two agree that they will meet up immediately upon his return and see if the sparks of attraction are still there. If they are, the two will get back together. Alejandra intends to spend the next year being faithful to Matthew, even while she’s sure that he will be seeing other people.

Alejandra's commitment is put to the test when she meets Drew for the first time at a bar. Immediately, there is an attraction between the two, but when Drew steps away to answer a phone call, he returns to find Alejandra gone. Flash forward nine months and fate has brought these two back together. Drew has no intention of letting Alejandra get away this time. He even tells his matchmaking grandmother, Rosemary, that they are a couple and plan on attending her birthday celebration together. When the house she shares with her sister gets flooded, Drew insists that Alejandra stays with him until repairs are made. This is just the time the two need to get to know one another and fall in love.

A lot of things happen within the pages of Hot Shot. I can assure you that it's all good. The relationship between these two was easy and steady from the very beginning. They had arguments that were smoothed over fairly quickly. It's like they were almost on the same page the whole time. I didn't find their dark moment to be really that dark. This part of the story was pretty much predictable.

Robin did an incredible job of ending Hot Shot and the American Royalty series. Seriously, it was amazing and unexpected. Hot Shot will truly leave a smile on your face. This is a true standalone read, but if you haven’t read the previous two books, Heartthrob and Sweet Talker, just know that the ending spoils the previous books.

Loved this book and series. Drew and Alejandra were worth the wait. A perfect couple with plenty of fun and sexy times. Adding in the angst and banter will have you laughing out loud. But it was Rosemary, Drew's grandma who stole the show. I wish we all had a grandma like that. I just hope I'm still having fun at that time. It proves family is so important. I highly recommend this story along with the rest of the series.

Drew is the perfect package as he is successful, sexy, sweet and would do anything for those he loves. He was captivated when he met Allie months earlier even though he only spent a few hours in her company but now that she is in his hotel, he isn’t about to let her escape a second time. Before she has a chance to say no he has her commitment to attend his matchmaking Grandma’s birthday party.

Allie was in a long term relationship that has been put on hold but the date is fast approaching where she must decide if they want to make the break permanent or get back together. When you combine that with the stress she is facing at work she isn’t in the right place to be considering getting involved with anyone.

Fate has other plans when she and Drew find themselves roommates and the chemistry between them ignites. Drew is determined to show Allie that they belong together but first they must deal with their pasts.

Drew and Allie were perfect for each other and it was great to catch up with the other characters we know and love from this series.

HOT SHOT by Robin Bielman is book Three in the American Royalty Series. This is the story of Drew Auprince and Alejandra Cruz. I haven't yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book. Drew and Alejandra happen to meet and hit it off but she is on a break from her boyfriend of several years. So she of course walks away but not to long later they meet again with Drew is waiting to meet his grandmother for their schedule meal. When he spots Alejandra he goes to speak to her and even takes it a step further to tell his grandmother that she is his date for her 80th birthday party.
When Alejandra needs a place to stay while waiting for repairs on her house he offers up his hotel but fails to add that he will be there too. Their attraction is hot and quick but he does have some baggage that bleeds into his feelings in their present situation. This was overall a really good read. Loved Grandma Rosemary.

4 Star Review of Hot Shot (American Royalty #3) by Robin Bielman

Robin Bielman is a new author to me. This is Drew Auprince and Alejandra Cruz’s story which I found to be well written and entertaining. A story that was funny, hot and spicy with chemistry that you could almost feel.

Although book three and the last in the series, it can be read as a standalone, although having said that, when time permits I will go back and read the other two books.

Having connected briefly months earlier, Drew and Al come across one another again. However it’s complicated because when she met Drew initially she and her long time boyfriend Matthew, were on a break and had agreed to meet in twelve months to see if they had a future together. Not wanting to lead Drew on, she left but now fate has reunited them.

Drew decides to pursue Al, telling his grandmother that she is his date to her 80th birthday party.

I loved Drew’s grandmother, what a fabulous character she was, in fact she almost steals the book from our leading couple.

As they struggle to ignore the intense chemistry, Al worries about her upcoming meeting with Matthew. Drew knows and is determined to be the last man standing.

Who will Alejandra chose? One click and find out.

Bielman is a favorite of mine because she holds nothing back. Her stories are all heart. Why should Hot Shot be any different? Drew and Alejandra leap right off the page and into your heart. He's a charmer. She's at a crossroads. Neither can let go of the connection they share, but something is holding her back. Never one to be deterred, Drew has a secret weapon that lights up the canvas with her saucy personality and mischievous ways. Rosemary is the the real deal when it comes to investing your heart. Romance reeled me in, but it was Drew's grandma that stole the show.

So it is time for me to say good bye to the Auprince family and I have enjoyed everyone one of them, however I think that the first story is my favorite and besides Grandma whom we love and love all her antics, Chloe is my favorite. That said I did like Alejandra and was happy that she and Drew got to reunite and get to know each other in there time. Don't want to give anything away but that this was a nice way to say good bye and to reconnect with the family..Enjoy!

Robin Bielman pens the third and final book in her American Royalty series with exceptional warmth, flair, humor, and toe-curling sexiness. Drew Auprince and Alejandra Cruz in HOT SHOT are not only adorable together, they set the pages on fire with their romantic chemistry. I couldn't help but fall in love right along with them! And Drew's scene-stealing grandmother is more than capable of charming anyone who crosses her path -- readers included -- with her adventurousness, hilarious remarks, and loving wisdom.

I've come to adore the close-knit Auprince family over the course of this wonderful trilogy, especially the three brothers, who are all talented, kind-hearted, and such hotties, each in their own way. You won't want to miss Drew's love story -- or either of the first two romance novels featuring his big brothers Finn and Ethan. A highly recommended series!

Robin Bielman really knows how to write the sweet, sexy, fun & swoony romances! This series has been great, and I loved Drew & Alejandra’s story! The chemistry was strong between these two! They were a very fun couple to read about and Drew is definitely swoon-worthy 😉

I also have to give a shout-out to Drew’s Grandmother! She was a wonderful, witty, loving character that was such a pivotal part of their story. She rocked! I also love the tight family bond between the Auprinces.

While this can be read a stand-alone, I highly recommend the first two books in the series “Heartthrob” & “Sweet Talker” as well! You’ll love the Auprince brothers!

Loved loved loved this book! Drew was hot and muscley and so cute! I liked him out of the three Auprince men. More down to earth.

To be honest Alejandra got a teeny bit on my nerves at the beginning because she was such a goody two shoes. The she loosened up a little bit and well she bloomed!

Favourite character is Grandma Rosemary. Hands down! She’s a feisty one that one!

I always enjoy reading any book by this author. It’s simple. It’s cute and hot at the same time and the characters are awesome. Super steamy too!

I really enjoyed this sweet story!
Alejandra has recently broke up with her boyfriend when she first sees and is attracted to Drew. Too bad he had to momentarily leave her and then she leaves the bar. Fast forward 9 months and they meet again.
Kismet, right?
It was meant to happen.
He pretends they have been dating and then BAM! We have the makings of a good love story.

This is book 3 in the series, but it can be read on its own since each story is about a different couple.
I highly recommend it!

Totally speechless. Delicious Drew. Pardon my dust while I formulate a review that may make sense.
This book is over the moon and one of my top 5 favorite reads of the year. I'll amend that statement by saying all three books of this series are my #2 favorite reads of 2019. I loved them all. Fickle me can't seem to decide which Auprince brother she's crushing on more... moving along.

Drew is the youngest of the Auprince brothers, successful and determined to bring his boutique hotel to a whole new level, he's ambitious, devastatingly hot, along with being generous and kind. Even with his darling meddling Grandma Rosemary trying to hook him up! With her 80th birthday bash fast approaching she's got work to do! That work presents itself in the lovely Alejandra, hard working good girl who works at a local seniors center. She loves her work, her clients, and her siblings. She's loyal, fierce, beautiful and protective of those who mean much to her.

We revisit a scene from the past, to a night out with her sister, that Allie really reluctantly agrees to where she sees and meets Drew. Noticing him when he walks in, as he pauses to chat it up with a few people, Drew works his way over to her and the two talk and there is a definite connection there. When her sister leaves the dance floor and tells Allie they are leaving, all Allie can do is leave Drew a note on a paper napkin. Drew returns to find her gone, but hangs onto that napkin.

The story picks up with Allie, along with her sister and the sisters skeevy boyfriend having breakfast at the hotel Drew owns. Drew has come in to meet his Grandma for breakfast, it's what they do. Her way of keeping tabs on her grandsons. When Allie does something totally out of character on a dare, she is spotted by Drew, who can't miss the chance to wander over to speak with her. In the midst of their chat, dear Grandma wanders in for their breakfast date, Grandma presses for info and who he's bringing to her 80th birthday bash and Drew introduces Allie as his date and girlfriend. Allie plays along not knowing what else to do.

Allie has a lot on her plate, with funding cut by one of their largest supporters (the Auprince family),
the senior center is at risk of being closed and sold off to a real estate developer who just happens to be Drew's best friend. Trying hard to keep things together and find funding from other resources Allie has her plate full. Then when a water pipe burst in the home she shares with her sister, the house they grew up in, and forced out of the house during repairs she takes Drew up on his offer to stay at the hotel. He also happens to be staying there as well because his home is under reno. What he neglects to tell her is the two will be sharing the penthouse suite. Large enough for two, but not quite large enough for poor Allie when she gets a shot of Drew post shower, towel around his perfect waist, bare chest and still damp.... you get the picture. I did. Scorched into my brain forever. These two have some serious steamy chemistry going on.

Drew has baggage he's really never dealt with in any real fashion. It does color his view at times, however he pushes it aside with Allie. Allie has her own, her one and only boyfriend left the country a year ago to pursue his own career goals, with just a promise they would meet a year later on that same day. Drew knows she's only had one boyfriend although she's not gone beyond that explaining the meet she'd promise to be at and that date is soon approaching. Drew inserts himself into Allie's life, coming to her job, charming her senior ladies at their book group. Grandma inserts herself into the mix also, then invites herself along to a baseball game with the two. Comedy abounds here. I also wanted to slug Drew a couple times, got angry and put my reader away until I could remind myself it was a book, stop cursing at him and give the guy a chance.

Meanwhile added to the mix is her finding out that Drew's friend is the real estate developer who is trying to buy the land the senior center is on, conflicts start to abound. Grandma's birthday party is soon approaching and when Allie finds out the date, it's the same day she's supposed to meet her old boyfriend. When she tells Drew about it, he of course blows his nut, throwing Allie out, but reserving another room for her in the hotel. Allie knowing the house is close to being ready goes home. Drew wisely seeks counsel from his oldest brother Ethan (adore him) and Ethan gives him his unedited advice. Allie is sleeping on a mattress on the floor of their house. She's scored a victory saving the senior center, however because when she makes a promise she sees it through, no matter what the outcome she's lost Drew. As the big birthday bash approaches and time is ticking down what will happen? Does Drew put on his big boy pants? What happens when Allie goes to meet her old ex?
Does the guy even show up? With an end I never saw coming, I'll just leave you hanging on that.

While I'm a little sad, this series has come to an end with Drew's story, I have to say that all three of these books are must reads. I love Robin's ability to weave a story that will lure you in a not let go until the very end. I'm a fan what can I say? Stellar writing, intricate plot weaving and characters that are real and relatable it's the book you'll read more than once.

RELEASE DATE: JANUARY. 30, 2020.

He believes in fate…

Here’s my plan: Crash through the ceiling of my family’s business to become the best hotelier on the West Coast. Nothing rattles me when it comes to a challenge and hard work, but when I spot my almost one-night-stand in my lobby, I’m thrown totally off my game. Alejandra is my dream girl. The one I can’t forget who got away – literally. Which might explain why I blurt out to my meddlesome, matchmaking grandmother that Alejandra is my date for her fast approaching and highly choreographed eightieth birthday party.

She’s been on pause…

Some decisions are harder than others, but agreeing to a date with Drew isn’t one of them. He’s a charming and gorgeous curveball I didn’t see coming, but the more time we spend together, the harder it is to remember to play it safe. I’ve made a promise, and even though I’m now torn: I have to honor it in order to move on from the past. Drew feels like my future, but I’m about to put everything I want in jeopardy.

REVIEW: HOT SHOT is the third and final instalment in Robin Bielman’s contemporary, adult AMERICAN ROYALTY erotic, romance series focusing on the Auprince siblings. This is hotelier Drew Auprince , and nursing home entertainment coordinator Alejandra Cruz’ story line. HOT SHOT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Alejandra and Drew) HOT SHOT follows the building relationship between hotelier Drew Auprince, and Alejandra Cruz. With the approach of his grandmother’s eightieth birthday Drew Auprince finds himself in need of a plus one when he comes face to face with his almost one night stand from months earlier, the woman who has starred in all of his fantasies and dreams. Hoping to avoid his grandmother’s matchmaking, Drew introduces Alejandra as his girlfriend in an effort avoid the inevitable awkward date. But all does not go according to plan when Alejandra finds herself in need of a place to stay when a broken water pipe makes her apartment unlivable. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Alejandra and Drew, and the potential fall-out as Alejandra’s past returns hoping for a second chance.

Alejandra’s apartment is undergoing repairs but she never expected to move in with Drew Auprince, the heir to the Auprince Holdings and Hotels. Alejandra wasn’t completely honest about her most recent relationship, a relationship that was temporarily on hold. Drew Auprince had been burned in the past but is hoping Alejandra is the woman that calls to his heart. With his grandmother’s birthday celebration only days away, Drew is blindsided when Alejandra backs out, breaking his heart.

The relationship between Alejandra and Drew is one of immediate attraction; a ‘fake’ girlfriend arrangement to appease Drew’s aging grandmother, a woman who is much more savvy and aware than anyone knew. Drew finds himself falling for the woman that has stolen his heart but Alejandra waivers between the present and the past. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

All of the Auprince siblings play secondary and supporting characters including Drew’s brothers Finn (Chloe), and Ethan ( Pascale), and their grandmother Rosemary, as well as Alejandra’s sister Gabriela, and Drew’s best friend West.

HOT SHOT is a story of family, friendships, secrets and love. The premise is entertaining and engaging; the romance is seductive; the characters are colorful and energetic. HOT SHOT is a captivating final instalment in Robin Bielman’s American Royalty series.

Drew Auprince is known as American royalty. His family is known for running extremely successful hotels nationally and abroad. Out of the three brothers, Drew is the only one to go into the family business, with a catch. Instead of just working for his father, Drew had built and opened his own hotel called The Surfeit.

Alejandra Cruz is the activities director for the Davis Senior Community Center. At 25, she seems to fit in and relate to the over 70 crowd better than those her own age. She is often referred to as “goody-two-shoes” by her twin sister because she always walks the line and never takes risks. She has recently been dumped by her boyfriend of 7 years so that he can travel out of the country for a year and test to see if they should be together.

Fate, I love reading books where chance meetings keep happening alerting the characters that they are meant to meet. Two people not ready for the other shielding there hearts from the truth.
Alejandra is holding on to a past love that holds her heart in a holding pattern until they meet again. Drew a bachelor trying to make his grandmother happy with the illusion of a relationship. Drew is guarded because of his celebrity, it is hard for him to open up knowing the possibility that his partner would not be in it for the right reasons. Two guarded hearts that fate is desperately trying to get together, making for an amazing read.

This was a lovely story!

"I've wanted to kiss you since that night, and if the opportunity presents itself, I'm going to take it."

One night, Alejandra meets Drew in a bar. She can't take her eyes off him. Unfortunately, she has to leave before they really get a chance to get to know one another. Nine months later, she meets him again. And, this time, he's not letting her out of his sight. Unfortunately, she's not quite ready to get involved with him. She made a promise to someone special that she aims to keep, but Drew ticks all the boxes, which makes it hard to keep him at arm's length. And, let's not forget the electric connection between them.

"My blood is on fire. My head is in the clouds. My feelings are magnified. She is everything pure in this world."

Drew Auprince is part of a famous hotelier family. He's been stung by love before and is wary of letting anyone in. However, Alejandra caught his eye months earlier and, now that she's appeared in his life again, he's planning to keep her there. Unfortunately, she's not falling at his feet like women normally do, so he's got his work cut out for him. He play the patience game - as long as they are moving forward.

"He feels like home and an adventure. He gives me wings and a safety net."

This was a such a lovely story about two lovely people. Alejandra is independent, caring and loyal. I loved her dedication to her job and her determination to make things work. She's generally a goody-two-shoes but Drew and the feelings he evokes in her pushes her out of her comfort. Drew is downright gorgeous! I loved his respect for Alejandra and how he leaves her room to grow. I loved his desire and passion for her - they were sizzling together. I adored how well they understood one another. This was a great closing chapter to the Auprince family story. It was fab seeing all his family one last time!

Hot Shot brings the American Royalty series to a close – and what a send-off this series is given with Drew and Allie (Alejandra), talk about sparks flying constantly. Although it is true that Hot Shot could be read as a standalone title, in my opinion, you’ll be missing out on a whole lot of hotness, sizzles, laughter, and characters you will love even as they frustrate you (as humans tend to do) if you haven’t experienced the first two books of the series.

There is actually a lot going on in Allie and Drew’s story beyond two people who had a brief connection one night and then lost contact. The chemistry between this couple is obvious to them (and the reader) from the beginning yet other things are going to get in their way – and at times, those “things” are going to be themselves. Without giving away spoilers, which I will not do, there were moments when I truly wanted to smack Drew upside the head Gibbs style, seriously. Fortunately, Drew gets his act together but there were moments when both of their decisions went against everything they were obviously feeling, and all I could do was shake my head and hope they came to their sense soon.

Secondary characters will often bring a book to life for me and Grandma Rosemary was that person who kept me on my toes, kept the laughter rolling and her wisdom in her words to those she cares about carries a lot of weight. I adored her, and think she’ll be the one that I miss most from this series – odd but true.

There were definitely potholes along the road to a happy ending for Allie and Drew, but the journey was so well worth it in the end. You’ll find conflicts and connections, laughter and tears, indecision and trust, confusion and love all wrapped up in Hot Shot. I loved being back in this world and I will miss returning again but… now I get to wait for the magic that Robin Bielman has in store for us next.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher, Tule Publishing. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
