Teacher + Chef = Food as an Engaging Teaching Tool

Description:

Join James Beard Nominated Chef, Jason Hammel, and 22-year public schools veteran teacher, Chandra Garcia-Kitch, to explore how food education can be integrated into the core content curriculum of K-12 classrooms through Pilot Light lessons. This chef demonstration and hands-on workshop, including taste testing, allows for participants to become students in a Pilot Light classroom and join chef and teacher on a journey to explore the impact of effective food education integration.
