Stevie

My Fairy Godmother had a wicked sense of humor, of that I was certain.

The first time I met Jackson Hart, I was on all fours with my ass in the air.

At the time of our meet not so cute, I didn’t know that the handsome man with the most captivating blue eyes was the wealthy, charismatic, and hot as sin hotelier, oh and my new boss.

Well, technically he is my boss's boss. Just skimming the company manual was maybe not the best idea.

But I digress. Working at Hart Hotels & Spa was a temporary plan.

Now, that plan has changed. Jackson Hart not only wanted me in his bed and in his life, he wanted me working alongside him.

Some offers are too good to pass up.

Jackson

Premium scotch aged to perfection, making money before sunrise, nine holes of golf and interesting conversation. Those are the things most known about me. Toss in a leggy brunette or a stunning redhead at a society event for good measure and there’s a story to amuse the public. But my story goes deeper—to the past that I left behind.

Sooner or later past and present collide. I never dreamed Stevie Brockman would be part of both.

Whew...Phew...wowza!
God's answer to women Jackson James Hart. Hotel Magnate Extraordinaire has been created and let loose in Booklandia.

description

He's talented, to say the least. When he meets Stevie on all fours, ass in the air, he's.......helpful😆 Good Samaritan that he is, he helps her, drops her, pays for her repairs, then takes her to dinner. Then he turns her life around
Orgasms before I was introduced to his experienced tongue and magic fingers were like riding a bike with training wheels. This was full-blown, look ma no hands and then soaring off into the sunset.

description

He's singlehandedly focused on Stevie Determined.
Intense.
Focused— on me.

Who wouldn't fall in love with this mouthwatering Hart Resorts Owner, rich, successful and loving hunk of a man. I did. Hook, line & sinker. You will too.
Go grab this delectable, sexy story and enjoy!
I loved the characters, but Stevie , baby, what's wrong with your taste buds hun..
What's wrong with pineapple..its HAWAIIN PIZZA for chrissakes!!!*smh**
“Okay, but I get to choose the toppings. Can’t trust you and your sweet tooth, you’re liable to put pineapples or banana peppers on the pizza.”
So that tiny bit peeve notwithstanding, she's sweet, talented, forgiving and very loving.

Wicked Gentleman
By: Christy Pastore
5 Hart Stars

One thing you can count on with a Christy Pastore book, is good solid writing. Books that flow great and have just enough laugh out loud banter between the characters that it eases you into the romance that is slowly building.

This is a great story of Stevie who has just started a job with Hart Hotels as a caddy on the golf course. Although its not the job she should be doing, it is what was available at the time.

Being forced out of Miami, Jax has spent the past 3 years rebuilding his name. Hart Hotels is making it big now. Expansion after expansion is in the works.

When the young lady in the hotel parking lot with car trouble catches his eye, there is no turning back.

Jax and Stevie are meant for each other! These two are from totally different ends of the spectrum but manage to understand each other completely. Its not a smooth sailing for these two to be together, but is any relationship?

I need to seriously have a heart to heart with Stevie and see if she would allow me to go on a weekend jaunt with Jax on his yacht!

Great job, Christy!!!

This hands down is my favorite book by Christy Pastore.

From the moment I opened my kindle until the moment I finished this story had me reeled all the way in. I loved the way Jax and Stevie met and right off the bat they have instant chemistry. I also loved that this book had a slow burn and you got to see and feel the relationship unfold as I read. Stevie and Jax had good chemistry, wonderful banter and I just loved this couple. Both characters are flawed and it doesn’t matter what your financial status is, family issues knows no class.

As expected there was some drama but it wasn’t drawn out or over the top. It was realistic and I loved the way the it was resolved. This was a very well written, funny, sexy and at times suspenseful story that I enjoyed very much. I love that the ending wasn’t predictable!! I have read a few books by this author and this was one of her best books yet! I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Wicked Gentleman is my first book by Christy Pastore and it will most probably be the last as I didn’t like the writing of it. It bore me to death ☹ I have skipped most of the boring stuff but the non-boring stuff was also not interesting or captivating at all, just bearable in comparison.

description

The problems of this book in my opinion:

1. It feels flat and repetitive. It is uninteresting with no real story line.

It’s just "boy meets girl, they like each other, they date and in the end, they get their happily ever after." Nothing interesting, nothing out of the ordinary.

There is nothing to look forward to in the book as things happen easily and everything is OK all the time. Even at the start of their relationship, there is no push/pull, no banter, no conflict etc. He never has to work for it. It just happens smoothly and easily. He wants to take her for a date, she says OK and they are a couple. There is only a minor problem towards the end and it is resolved quickly.

*********************************************

2. It lacks passion and chemistry but that doesn’t mean it is a sweet book with no angst. It lacks sweetness as well. It is plain boring is what it is!

It is such an ordinary love story that it makes you ask yourself the question, “What was the point of writing this book?”

*********************************************

3. The characters are two-dimensional. They meet, they find each other attractive, they kiss, they date and get intimate -the usual stuff - nothing special, just ordinary. And all along their journey, I DIDN’T FEEL A THING.

They never came to life in my mind. They stayed as cartoon characters. They are OK but they have nothing special about them. He is OK, she is OK. Nothing more. I couldn’t get connected to either of them.

*********************************************

4. The heroine had a douchebag ex who worked for the hero and I thought he would cause some conflict but nope, he was just there, that’s all. He did nothing more than bothering her a bit a few times but the hero never knew about it; hence no jealousy, no angst.

*********************************************

5. An ex of the hero came to the picture, leaving the scene asap, so what was the point of it? She said her part and left. Huh, it was really weird.

*********************************************

6. There are many story fillers like the stories of exes or family members that can be removed from the book and it would still not lack anything.

*********************************************

7. The title of the book is stupid. The hero Jax is NOT wicked at all. He is a gentleman but never wicked.

*********************************************

8. The heroine was stupid in assuming the wrong things at the beginning of the book and I was irritated by her dumbness.

I hate it when writers make their heroines clueless. Anyone with an average IQ can guess what happened but the heroine cannot until is it told to her in CAPITALS.

(Her car breaks down, the hero helps her to find a mechanic. He also takes her home when she is left with no car. He makes it clear that he is interested in her. But the other day, when she learns that someone paid for her car’s repairs, the hero never comes to her mind. She thinks her ex did it to get her back. Her ex didn’t even know her car was broken, for God’s sake! She goes to her ex and blames him for trying to get in her pants by helping her in this way and when he says he doesn’t know about it, she doesn't believe him. Yeah, there is no limit to stupidity, obviously…)

Why dumb heroines are so popular in romance books is beyond my comprehension. One the one hand, this heroine is successful at her job and has brilliant ideas but on the other hand, when it is about personal matters, she turns into this clueless idiot.

Who tells these writers that “stupid” is cute?

Also, I can understand it when a person goes to the cemetery and talks to the person who they have lost as if they can hear them; it may feel good in a way. However, I never understood what this heroine did every week when she visited her dead gran’s grave: She read her a book. Every week another chapter. That was a bit too weird for me.

*********************************************

9. The book touches some serious topics like drug dealers, domestic violence, abuse, prison time, illness, death etc but as I said, it just touches them… it doesn’t deal with them neatly.

*********************************************

10. The book is safe if all you are looking for is safety but it wasn’t enough for me. Apart from it being safe, unfortunately, there is nothing else positive I could say about this book.

I've been reading a lot of romance books lately to keep my mind off of the crap year that was 2020. I'd been pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed some of them...unfortunately I can't say the same for Wicked Gentleman. I really struggled to connect with the characters and root for their romance. Everyone felt two dimensional, and there were random "suspense" plotlines thrown in that just seemed out of place. Ultimately I felt bored and not motivated to keep reading this one, and I'm honestly surprised I finished it.

UGHHH!!! So f*cking GOOD!!!

Amazon is being douchey and won't let me leave a few lines on their site. I'll try again in a few days, but for now, here's what I got.

First things first...HOW HOT IS THE COVER? It just might be one of the best covers I've ever seen. It's both classy, and sexy! Lucky for us, this read goes even deeper than the cover. In fact, the best part about this cover, this entire book, is that it has everything needed for a good romance story between its pages.
There are hearty laugh out loud moments -- the kind of humor exclusive to Pastore's style -- and a dash of heartache too. The storyline had its drama, but it wasn't drawn out or over-exaggerated. Everything made sense and it all came full circle.

Like with all of Ms. Christy Pastore's books, I fell in love with the heroine, Stevie, first. Christy writes the most beautiful, amazing, funny, endearing, courageous, and determined female leads. And Pastore's leading men? *swoon* Jackson is no different. He's passionate and focused and, most importantly, wicked naughty. ;) I think he just might be my favourite of Pastore's Heroes.

It's such a good read and I plan on getting the book in paperback as soon as I can.

I loved the sassy, sexy, heart felt banter between these characters and within this story. Stevie is a strong character that is trying to be independent but at the same time supportive to a mother that is not in the best situation. Stevie shows that she is standing of her own two feet and I loved her interaction with Jax. Jax is this sexy, swoony, fun male character that has secrets in his past but has learned to overcome the past. Jax and Stevie have this fun, sexy banter with each other that flows so well. I did wish some parts of the story had arrived sooner than they did and I also wished for a little more but over all I really, really enjoyed this book.

This specific video review will be included in the June 2018 wrap-up.

This book was such a wickedly hot read, we both had to read it!" - Brittany and Elizabeth's Book Boutique

Brittany's Review

"Do not picture him shirtless. Do not picture him naked."

While this book was nothing short of steamy and filled with banter, I also laughed out loud A LOT! Mainly because Stevie in the book was so darn relatable. I mean c'mon, how many times have we said this same exact thing to ourselves, ladies?! This book and this story hooked me right in and I finished it in one day- I literally could not put it down and it totally made my weekend.

Stevie and Jackson are two characters that made me remember why I love reading romance so much! The banter between the two, and the HOT, HOT, HOT scenes kept a smile on my face. It could have only been made better if I was sitting by the pool reading this, because then I could have jumped in to cool down from how hot I was! I haven't read a good office romance in awhile, and this definitely brought this genre back up to the forefront.

The characters in the book also made the book- Carol is straight up certifiable, but I almost love her a little bit too. I might have even messaged Christy that "Carol has got to go!" I am so happy that I took a chance on this book and I hope you will too. You will definitely not regret adding this one to your TBR this summer.

Elizabeth's Review

“He had the lips of the devil. And with one kiss, he melted every part of me—setting my soul on fire.”

You guys. I’ve finished a book that made it so easy to fall in love with—so, so easy! I’ve had Christy on my TBR for awhile, and I’m SO happy Wicked Gentleman will forever be remembered as my first by her. The story itself is just as delicious as the gorgeous cover!

“She was innocence and sin wrapped together and I had the desire to explore every facet of her being.”

I was suffering from a major book hangover before going in, and this ended up being everything I was needing to pull me out of it. A perfect combination of sweet, sexy, and witty banter. And our leading man, Jackson, will leave readers in a puddle of feels from his swoon-worthy actions and the beautiful, sinful words that leave his lips.

Stevie had the personality I adore in a heroine—she was a mix of strength, humor, sweet, yet sassy. Checkout out this quote from our girl (lol):

"My sex life was on life support, and I was coming dangerously close to having the last rites read to my vagina.”

Seriously, these two are the definition of two halves coming together to create one perfect whole—I couldn’t get enough of them! I love this book, and highly recommend Wicked Gentleman as one of your fun summer must reads!

This was actually recommended to me by another author, Fabiola Francisco. I’ve had this book since release day and for unknown reasons, I’ve been putting it off. Finally I said (and Christy agreed) “NO MORE!” and now I’m here...

I want to start off by saying that the millionaire/rich businessman/CEO trope is not my favorite... at all. When 50 Shades got popular, that’s all that seemed to be out. Everywhere you turn, there’s a rich dude stealing your heart, melting your patties, and living the life of Mark Cuban. I just got tired of reading the same thing over and over again.
With Wicked Gentleman, you’re getting the normal rich businessman/workaholic but without the crazy BDSM/red room/contract toting deal. (I’m not saying there’s no sex because trust me, there is!)
Basically I’m trying to say that you’re getting the CEO/Richie rich trope without the freaky side.

One thing I have to say...
Wicked is literally the PERFECT word to describe Jackson Hart.
And boy, oh boy, I would let that man have his wicked way with me. Holy cow! *faints*

So something I didn’t love (which I also noticed with The First Lights as well) was that there was more of a focus on the lust and sexual relationship between the two characters than the emotional side. I love smut but I want a story to go along with it. At one point, I thought it was moving into the direction of adding more emotions between the two characters but I just found it lacking... it didn’t continue and develop as much as I really wanted.

I feel like I’ve been really negative and I don’t want to be like that because it was a good book. Christy’s writing is fantastic. She kept me interested. I didn’t zone out at all (which I do have a problem with sometimes. Oops. 😬🤷🏼‍♀️)
The one thing I would say to her (which she might even be reading this because I’ve been posting about this book on IG... hi Christy!) is just to expand the emotions a little bit. She has a fantastic story, great writing, and engaging characters with amazing sexual chemistry. The only thing that’s missing (for me) is more of an emotional side... a little more detail or insight into their budding relationship.

Oh how I loved, Wicked Gentleman! FIVE STARS! This book is well developed, well crafted characters and above all exceptionally written, but all of Ms. Pastore's books are, so that is no surprise.

Here comes the snark! What this book is not . . . is flat. Let me repeat myself this book is NOT flat. It is NOT repetitive.

Side note: If you do not find yourself drawn to Jax or Stevie for that matter, frankly you, my dear are a cold fish. Please stop reading anything with romance. Let me suggest to you dear reader, some self-help books or how to move out of your parent's basement and enter the real world books.

Oh the romance, I found MUCH enjoyment in their relationship. The conversations, the real honesty and the purity of their heartache and pain without dwelling on it and allowing it to define who they are are present was REFRESHING.

Stevie is not weak. If you think she is, you need a reality check. How could she be when she stands up to "bully figures/characters" on countless occasions. I found it highly remarkable that someone of her age gathered incredible strength in those situations.

In the situation of Carol, some might ask, how could Stevie be friends with her after what happened? I ask--Why not? It's called being grown the fuck up. Sometimes when you confront a situation that is all you need to do. Confront. Explain. Apologize. Accept. Move On. Forgive, but never forget. Anyway, I loved everything about this story.

OH and just so you know, Jackson never uses his wealth or power to influence Stevie, who one reviewer pegged as being "Poor." FALSE!! Completely fucking false. Stevie comes from a middle class background and is working to make it on her own.

Scoop this one up . . . NOW!

-Kacie, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my first Christy Pastore book but I enjoyed it very much. I thought the writing was fantastic and the story flowed seamlessly and it didn't hit you in the face with everything happening too fast or all at once.

Stevie Brockman is a hoot! She is smart, funny, hardworking, and she never gives up on anything. She is bound and determined to succeed, and she does. She meets Jackson (Jax) Hart when she is having a bad day and her car won't start. He is being nice and helpful and in the midst of that, just by being herself, she sparks his interest. Jax is the owner of Hart Resort and Spa, where Stevie works. He is so enamored with Stevie that he keeps coming up with ways to be around her. Their relationship isn't fast but it feels right. They are complete opposites but they just fit so well together and compliment each other. I love how Jax takes care of her in ways she doesn't know about, like keeping an eye on her dad. They seem perfect together but they aren't without their troubles.

I am definitely going to be checking out other books by Christy!

Wicked Gentleman is my first read by Christy Pastore.

I found myself drawn towards the cover. Even that blurb captured my attention, despite the wealthy businessman trope becoming an overused concept in romance. Sadly, the middle became flat, almost repetitive, slowly losing my interest in Jax and Stevie.

She was innocence and sin wrapped together and I had the desire to explore every facet of her being.

Jackson Hart is reinventing himself years after being driven away from Miami. With Hart Hotels & Spa, he has succeeded, with multiple expansions organised and wealth pouring in as testament to his determination and ambitions.

I didn't find myself drawn towards Jax. While he is charming and romantic, he isn't enigmatic or mysterious. Paired with a dirty mouth and suggestive words, Jax is wicked (sometimes), but it did not make me swoon. Not even once.

Despite her young age, Stevie isn't a brat that whinges and whines, proclaiming "woe is me!" every chance she receives, because she carries deep-seated daddy issues. However, her personality was two-dimensional, awfully flat and hard to connect to in memorable ways.

He had the lips of the devil. And with one kiss, he melted every part of me—setting my soul on fire.

Oh the romance...

I couldn't find enjoyment in it. Everything seemed to move quickly, but at the same time, not at all. Jax and Stevie could be passionate, with every encounter filled with steam, but it was the ordinary steam. No fanning and drowning myself in water happened here.

It seems my taste in romance keeps morphing and changing, because I cannot handle fluffy romance that appears to fall into a tiny, neat package. Give me intense sexual tension, grittiness, romance that burns steadily and beautifully.

In saying that, I appreciated the witty banter, Stevie's independence and the first few introductory chapters really gripped me. But the cliche and common trope of wealthy businessman using his influence for poorer love interest died on me. I'm in a, "it's not you, it's me" situation.

A sexy read with laugh out loud moments

Stevie and Jackson met unexpectedly but it could not have worked out anymore perfect.

Jackson, a sexy, rich successful business owner who didn't always have it easy and Stevie who was down on her luck had something in common family drama! I felt they complemented each other well and I loved their chemistry right off the bat.

There was definitely some laugh out loud moments, with some heartache along the way.

over all a great read and my favorite book so far from Christy Pastore.

Christy did an excellent job with this story. I fell in love with Jax and Stevie from the beginning. The connection and attraction between the two was off the charts. The plot was great and the conflict in the story really played out well. I loved Christy’s writing. While I was reading it was like reading poetry on the page. The jokes and references were fantastic and the way the story flowed from one thing to another was amazing.

“Jax. He was beautiful in the way that wicked things were.” – Stevie

“Your body is your own, but when you’re in my bed it belongs to me.” Jax

You have an innocent girl who meets and alpha with no filter, nothing is better than that! I am hoping to see more from these characters in the future! And I can’t wait to see what Christy has for us next!

I really enjoyed this story it was a lot of fun as with previous books by this author it was well written.

Who doesn't love a smooth dirty talker wrapped in a suit, I know I wouldn't pass him by. Both characters were flawed which I liked it gives another dimension to the story. With strong chemistry between them it could have been a wham bam but it's not and the slow burn was fun to read

Stevie and Jax made this story very likable. This was the first book of this author's that I have read and I would read other books when they come available. Stevie is a down on her luck golf caddy who meets the owner of the resort she works at in a very unique situation and everything from that point on is pretty much roses for them. There is a bit of an age gap that tends to bother both of the characters at different times but love conquers all. Jax will offer Stevie a cushy job which will cause a blow up or two at the end of the book. There isn't a lot of conflict which was a breath of fresh air. There are a lot of extenuating family circumstances that happen throughout the book which would set up for other books very nicely. All in all, this was a very easy read and a feel good story.

I wish I could give this book a 10 star rating. I loved the plot as well as the characters. Jax is such a sweet and lovable character. Stevie was the perfect blend of woman for Jax she was loyal , loving and adventurous. I liked how it was a slow burn romance and that the characters were able to connect well with one another.

Listen, I teetered with the book. On one hand, it's a fantastic story. On the other, well, I had a couple of issues. Read on for my thoughts...

The story over all is fantastic. I devoured it. Who doesn't love a boss/employee romance. That whole forbidden fruit fantasy is always a treat to read. From their first meet, to their first "date", to the rollercoaster this book takes you on, I really enjoyed this story from the start.

Where it all went a little sideways for me was the characters. Usually, if I don't like the characters, I have a hard time with the overall book. Fortunately for me, the characters didn't completely ruin it for me. I did not like Stevie. Not. At. All. Even for her age, she was immature and all over the place. She gave me whiplash with her flip-flopping personality. I kind of liked Jackson. I didn't dislike him. I just felt for his age, there were times where he seemed to be a little too immature himself.

Even without my seal of approval on the characters separately, they worked together. Things do fall in place. The world is righted, even in the ups and downs these characters have. Their relationship eventually won me over. I just think I would have loved this book had Stevie's character had a better hold on who she is.

Before reading Wicked Gentleman I had never read or heard of Christy Pastore. I can officially say I am now a huge fan of her writing.

Stevie is an awesome character! I love her sass and independence. She takes crap from nobody, not even her dumb as duck father – who needs to dive off a cliff.

Jax is an amazing business man who longs for a career in politics. He has put up with so much in his past that he is trying not to let it define who he is.

The chemistry between Stevie and Jax is there right from the beginning. I like that when they meet they have that spark. As their relationship progresses, they face people who think they should not be together. Oh, but the sex, let me go there for a sec... it is HOT.

There were some WTF are you thinking moments. But mostly I laughed while reading.

You will definitely be missing out if you don't pick this one up.

I loved this book! I couldn't put it down. Both Stevie and Jax had secrets and I wanted to know them. Pastore did a fantastic job of keeping the secrets until they needed to come out. It created the right amount of drama and suspense.

Stevie--is a young twenty something year old girl who just got out of college and is trying to make her way in the world. She got her dream job then ended up losing it only to have to go back a job she had done during college. However, things quickly change for her as she gets a new position.

Jax--is the thirty something entrepreneur and sexy as sin (lol) He has rebuilt his life in a matter of three years and done it well. He is drawn to Stevie from the moment he sees her and they make one hell of a couple despite the age difference.

Stevie and Jax cross paths after her first day of work when her car decides to not start. Jax comes to her rescue. They are both drawn to each other and soon find themselves unable to keep away even if they should since Jax is Stevie's boss.

This book was a fun read that I really enjoyed. It was my first book by Pastore but I enjoyed it so much I want to check out the rest of her books!

Wickedly Good!
Wicked Gentleman is an intensely passionate and endearing love story. Stevie and Jax are an unlikely pair. They circulate in different circles and are at very different places in their lives. Yet, their chemistry and connection are undeniable. These two characters really draw you into the book. Stevie is independent, determined, and self deprecating. Jax is focused, tenacious, and sexy as sin. I love that Mrs. Pastore develops such genuine and intriguing characters. Their backstories are fully fleshed out. The dialogue is honest and mature. I could feel their emotions and their choices ring true. The characters truly drive this story along, with their commitment and passion for one another. The heat between Stevie and Jax leaps off the page from their first encounter and sizzles all the way to their HEA. Wicked Gentleman will leave you fully satisfied in every way.

Before I go into my review for Wicked Gentleman, can we just take a moment to appreciate this cover in all it's hotness? It's so freakin' hot I have to fan myself every time I look at it. Or, well... stare is probably a more accurate statement.

I knew from the moment I saw the teaser that I was going to love it... and I freaking LOVED IT! I loved the humor from Stevie's personality and the attentiveness from Jackson. From the very beginning, there are some GREAT laughing out loud moments as we get to know Stevie and her dialog.

"My sex life was on life support, and I was coming dangerously close to having the last rites read to my
vagina." -Stevie

The story moved along well without the over dramatic lag and filler. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Stevie and Jax's past as they navigate into their new found relationship. I adore Jax and his want to help Stevie without overstepping his boundaries. The chemistry and character development made me fall even harder for these two as I pictured them together. The sex was right on the money and addictive AF to read. The dirty words that flowed from Jax's mouth were delicious and oh-so-hot.

"I pushed the fabric away revealing her glistening pussy. My eyes lifted to the mirror above and Stevie's eyes snapped shut. "No, sweetheart, open your eyes," I ordered, before dragging my tongue through her slit. "You're going to watch me eat you." -Jax

Thank you SO much to Christy for allowing me to read this amazing story! Your writing continues to amaze me in all the right ways. This book has it all! Great characters, hot sex, dirty talkin' hottie, and just the right amount of drama.

Holy mother of all Christy’s books!! Wicked Gentleman is by far, my FAVORITE of hers! This story has it all without overdoing it.

Jackson and Stevie are a fantastic pairing. They’re like peas and carrots. And despite the age gap (which isn’t much in my opinion) they’re a team and they know how to work thru their stuff and come out stronger on the other side. Sexual chemistry is off the charts too!!

Jackson is sexy and strong and honest and gentlemanly. He’s everything you could ever conjure up in a perfectly flawed Hero! He’s strong without being overbearing. He’s gentle without being a pansy and he’s sexy without being cocky. Christy can write the most swoon-worthy men, ever and Jackson is no exception!

Stevie rocked my world. She strong and confident and funny but also sweet and demure. She’s a perfect balance to Jackson and they really do bring out the best in each other.

Five wickedly amazing stars! This book has everything and more and I hope it’s not the last time we checked into the Hart Hotel & Spa! I’m ready to go back! <3

I fell hard for these characters! The author made me feel like I was right there front and center with Jax and Stevie. The descriptions were vivid and the dialogue was super witty! The chemistry between Jax and Stevie was smoking hot!

This is your perfect light and fun read with some suspense. Highly recommended.

Wicked

This was a wicked tale of like, love & lost. Drugs, murder & mystery. First time reading Christy Pastore, her writing style is bold, she doesn't give her readers every thought, but let's them come to their own opinions and conclusions. It's refreshing!

Don't bother

It was okay but no story at all. This is akin to a highschooler, if not grade 8 writing. Carol was being a bitch because she was "testing her and thinks so highly of her" wtf. Nothing made sense. Waste of money
