"I've learnt that confidence is something that fluctuates, and that's OK," Lily James tells us on the set of her March issue cover shoot. "[I've learnt] to just be how you are. Don't try and force confidence or be scared of feeling under confident, just embrace where you’re at."
As she prepares to celebrate her 30th birthday while performing alongside Gillian Anderson in a new West End theatre production of All About Eve, the actress takes stock of her life thus far, and reveals what her twenties have taught her about love, career, confidence, criticism, and everything in-between.
"As I’m approaching ever nearer to my 30th birthday, in my wise years I have learnt to be bold, brave and don’t think twice," she adds.
