The IMx KURO crossover is a manifestation of the future of Nissan Intelligent Mobility

Nissan Motor Corporation unveiled their latest concept car in the electric crossover segment named Nissan IMx KURO, at the Geneva Motor Show 2018. The IMx KURO is the second IMx concept car exhibited by Nissan after they debuted the first IMx at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, last October.

In contrast to the previous one, the IMx KURO was decorated with black colored tire rims  and also updated the grille which wrapped in dark gray car's color. These concept car also carries the concept of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, which is the company's vision in facing the futuristic driving technology era that cares more for the environment.

"The IMx KURO zero emission crossover car is a manifestation of the future of Nissan Intelligent Mobility," said Nissan's Chief Performance Officer, Jose Munoz.

One of the latest featuress embeded on the IMx KURO is Brain-to-Vehicle (B2V) technology, which able to interpret the driver's brain signals for driving assistance features through the manual and self-driving system learned from the driver.

And the B2V technology features embedded in the IMx KURO are generally capable of producing two commands, namely predicting and detecting with the help of artificial intelligence (AI).

The predictive feature results from the introduction of AI to the sign of the driver's brain to perform a movement, such as turning the steering wheel or stepping on the acceleration pedal, which translates to help driving technology to react faster in manual driving mode.

While the detection feature emphasizes more on the driver's inconvenience so the embedded AI will change the way driving or driving configuration in self-driving mode.
