Hollywood actor Matt Damon visited Jakarta on Tuesday for the WaterCredit program.
ollywood actor Matt Damon reportedly visited Koperasi Mitra Dhuafa’s (Komida) cooperative office in Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, on Tuesday.
Komida’s Facebook account posted several photos showing the actor posing with members of the organization’s staff on Tuesday. The photos have since been taken down for unknown reasons.
According to tempo.co, the actor visited Jakarta for a joint project between Komida and Water.org that focused on countries with a lack of clean water and sanitation issues.

Damon is the founder of Water.org, an organization that focuses on providing clean water and improving sanitation worldwide.
In 2014, Water.org introduced the WaterCredit program in Indonesia with Komida as one of the partners.
“Since then, we have opened an office in Jakarta, hired staff and launched local partnerships with 14 microfinance institutions. We continue to expand our presence by pursuing partnerships with different types of organizations, including partnerships with associations and rural banks,” Water.org stated on its website.
