Searching for the face of the SPAR Women’s Race

Are you fit, fab and ready for fun? Then you could be exactly who we’re looking for.

SPAR and Get It are searching for The Face of the SPAR Women’s Race. Someone who’s an enthusiastic runner … who’s keen to enter the race in October … and who wants to be queen for the day (don’t we all?). Our winner will not only get to be featured in the local Get It magazine (who knows … you may just make cover girl) but will also receive VIP treatment on the day of the race. Think free entrance and VIP parking for you and a partner or friend, a special VIP table in the official marquee and (get this … our favourite bit) an assistant for the day … she’ll escort you through the crowds, keep you supplied with snacks, coffee or energy drinks, get you to the front at the start and be there at the finish with a cool towel and drink. She’ll take photos for your (and our) social media accounts and attend to your every whim. Star treatment for the day.

PLUS … there’s more.

Our winner will also receive a R5000 SPAR shopping voucher, a pair of running shoes by Asics, SPAR Women’s Race T-shirts to wear in the race for her and her partner, a Get It tog bag, with a race towel, SPAR toiletries, and a selection of GOSH cosmetics

How to enter

Simply email two photos of yourself – one head and shoulders, one full length, to faceofspar@caxton.co.za. Include your name, age, the area in which you live, and a 100 word motivational letter about why you deserve to be our Face of SPAR Women’s Race 2018.

Entries close August 10. T’s & C’s apply

The SPAR Women’s Race is on Sunday October 7 at Marks Park Sports Club. Entries are now open.
