Estate Project Manager (South)
Job description
Are you an ambitious Project Manager with experience of the property, building services or infrastructure environment? Are you looking to expand on your previous experience of project delivery in the built environment with an organisation that delivers a unique visitor experience and aims to inspire future generations?
The Science Museum Group is investing
in its museum portfolio as part of a One Estate Strategy and a number of ambitious projects are currently programmed for the coming months and years ahead.
We are looking for a driven and dedicated Estate Project Manager on a fixed term basis for 12 months, who will plan and deliver a range of Estate-led projects through the complete project life-cycle. Based at the Science Museum in London, you will be expected to manage all aspects of project delivery including risk management, programme control and ensure they run with effective financial management throughout. Working closely with the Estate Programme Manager, you will build effective relationships with internal and external contacts to assess the impact of your team's projects and ensure effective handover of projects to operational colleagues across our museums.
This challenging opportunity requires you to have experience of delivering projects within the property, building services or infrastructure environment and have excellent budget management skills. You will be skilled in problem-solving, negotiation and conflict management and able to demonstrate your familiarity with RIBA and CDM regulations.
In return you will be offered excellent benefits, including 25 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme, BUPA medical and dental care, an annual season ticket loan and numerous staff discounts whilst developing your career in a world class museum group.
