2019 Hyundai Elantra

The redesigned 2019 Hyundai Elantra arrives with new advanced safety features, a new infotainment system, and a sharp new look.

The sixth-generation compact sedan features a new standard rearview camera with dynamic guidelines. It also offers four new safety features as part of the Hyundai SmartSense package. The new Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system incorporates automatic emergency braking and forward-collision warning function. It joins Lane Keep Assist and Driver Attention Alert as newly standard features on SEL and higher trims. Safe Exit Assist and Pedestrian Detection are available on the Limited trim.

Systems already offered as part of SmartSense include Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Lane Change Assist.

Hyundai’s new AVN 5.0 infotaiment system is available on higher trim levels for the 2019 Elantra. This system offers an 8-inch touch screen, navigation, HERE HD Traffic, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. An eight-speaker Infinity premium audio system and Qi wireless charging are featured on the Limited trim. Meanwhile, the standard 5-inch infotainment system now includes Bluetooth and steering wheel audio controls.

2019 Hyundai Elantra

Other new interior features for the 2019 Elantra include Smart Shift Drive Mode for SEL and above trims, a fresh instrument cluster design, and a redesigned center cluster.

On the outside, the 2019 Elantra’s redesigned front includes a new hood, front fascia and fenders, grille, and headlights. The rear features a new trunk, rear fascia with relocated license plate, and taillights. Wheels are available with new 16-inch and 17-inch designs, and the Eco trim features new 15-inch wheels. The Limited and Sport trims come with LED headlights.

The 2019 Elantra will be available at dealerships later this fall.
