The truth isn’t something Fury can provide.
Secrecy isn’t something Rumor can tolerate.

Decisions of the past have a way of haunting the future, at least they do for Fury. Forced to abandon his life from before and start over in Panama City Beach, he accepts his new life after meeting a stranger on a motorcycle during an unexpected street brawl. Things settled down for him and his new brotherhood in the Chosen Legion MC, that is, until he met that sexy, blonde first baseman, Rumor, and the rest of the Regulators. He wasn’t allowed to love again. He couldn’t divulge his secret. He couldn’t put her or his past in danger. He is shackled by the truth.

Rumor was bad at love. She lost her high school sweetheart in a tragic accident. She fell for his best friend and saw a future with him, that is, until he vanished without a note or a hint at where he was. Convinced she was cursed, she guarded her heart and stayed away from men. Then there was Fury and with Fury, there was hope. Until he reappeared.

Fury needs Rumor. Rumor needs the truth.

But the truth can’t set Fury free.

Four years ago Daisy was pregnant with Eric’s child and Legend Morrow left to go join the Chosen Legion MC and became “Fury”.
Now Fury is ready to put the past behind him and move on with his MC. He has struggled so long with his demons that he has difficulty with conversation and has no idea on how to act with his attraction to Rumor.
Rumor is one of Charlie’s best friends and plays baseball with her. When she stays with the Chosen Legion MC she can’t deny her attraction to Fury but she can also tell he has ghosts that he is struggling with and won’t let her in. But Rumor has her own past with heartbreak and she is afraid to get close to Fury as she doesn’t want to lose him.
With both Rumor and Fury battling ghosts will they be able to overcome them for a future together or will their ghosts wreak havoc on their future together?
This was a great second book in the series and I am really enjoying it.
I kind of wondered a few things about Fury’s past and I was both right and wrong when everything came out. Fury was punishing himself for the past and that is why he never seemed to be happy but I enjoyed the challenge that Rumor provided him and she began to get him out of his shell and change him for the better.
Rumor had her own past and I felt bad for everything that she had gone through with love and loss. As one thing was left “open” I wondered if that was going to come back to finish things up and change everything that was happening.
There was such chemistry between Rumor and Fury and I was crossing my fingers that more would happen between them and I was not disappointed! The two had such an up and down relationship due to Fury’s struggles with his past but he slowly became so much more due to Rumor.
There were times in the dialogue that things seemed almost forced and too easy, but I still enjoyed the book. I found this was mostly when things were centered around Jay and Sully and it just didn’t feel natural.
There were a few twists in the book and I was so mad about what happened to Chief and I am still crossing my fingers that is part of a bigger story and not true! I was expecting the twist with Rumor but not everything, especially with what she found back at her house. I was so mad with Jay and I am assuming that will continue on in the next story.
The very end was great and I am looking forward to the next story! - By Rebecca

Loved this book. This is a book with so many twists and turns. Some I did not even expect. Some hurt to read but none the less it was a great read. I was on the edge of my seat. Will they or won't they? This book was worth the sleep I lost reading it. My heart hurt for both characters but what happens to them molds them to who they are in the here and now.

Can I say this book is not at all what I thought it was going to be? I can't exactly say why that is becaue it will give it all away. There are so many twists and turns ups and downs and omissions and lies.

Rumor wants love. She has had it and it has been stolen from her. Not by her choice. Then when she finds love again it goes to hell in a handbag and she is just left high and dry.

Fury comes along and he doesn't want love again just because of what happened the first time. He feels he doesn't deserve it. He feels like he is a bad person and should not get the happy ending he wants. I have to admit I was not his biggest fan when the book started or even in the middle. He grew on me. The found myself totally in his corner, wanting him to get what he truly wants.

When Rumor and Fury meet for the first time, sparks fly like crazy. It starts off innocent and then simply ignites. Rumor knows what she wants and she can't have lies and half-truths. Fury cant gives her that since his whole life is shrouded by secrecy and it is needed for a reason.

This book is a bit dark not bad but it depicts MC life. There are laughs, happiness, and some sadness. There are so many emotions in this book and so many times I really just wanted to hit Fury. I loved the strong woman that Rumor is. She is a smart sassy and has a great personality. She has a great friend in Charlie. I enjoyed reading Whiskey again as well.

I look forward to more.

Fury's life choices took a bit hit, so he had to make the ultimate choice that affected him for years to come. Luckily, a stranger found him Panama City Beach & took him in the Chosen Legion MC, and even though things settled down, he still never got over his past which has made him a withdrawn man. His grumpy world is thrown for a loop when he meets Rumor, a sexy blonde first baseman for the Regulators, when they come to stay at their clubhouse. He finds himself interested in a woman for the first time in a long time, and he doesn't know how to handle it, which means it's kind of a crap show. Rumor isn't exactly lucky in the love department herself, as the two serious relationships haven't worked out well, & Fury is basically giving her whiplash with all of his mood swings. But there's no doubt that they have explosive chemistry which ignites, and the sexy moment that follows lights the sky up. Of course, he's got that push & pull thing down so my frustration is at an all time high, and I'm ready to scream at him. Then there's the whole other issue of the danger stalking the MC, so there's twists, making my colorful metaphor game super strong by this point, as I'm cussing everyone & their dog out. So yeah, Rumor's Fury has everything, even emotional upheaval when it's all said & done, because we find out what really happened to Fury! Anyway, I LOVED this frustrating piece of goodness from the amazing Harlow Brown, & I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

I loved this book, I was pulled into it from the beginning and that's where I stayed until the end, all the while watching the story play out in my head, just like a mini movie.
There are twists, turns and surprises throughout the book, some of the surprises you may see coming but others you won't, there are both big and small surprises. They all aide in making the books the fantastic read that it is.
My emotions were put on over load reading this book, whatever emotion the characters were going through I went through with them, I laughed, I cried, I got frustrated, at one point I was going to through the kindle the characters got to me so bad, but they redeemed themselves. So I still love the characters.
I highly recommend this book, but if you haven't read book 1 Charlie's Whiskey I would say read it first, as it will give you a better understanding of the characters within this book.

This is the first book I've read in this series and I did not like it at all. Here's why: I didn't care for the main characters. The back and forth between Fury and Rumor became aggravating as hell. Fury did the back and forth with Rumor most of the story and then they decided to really be together for the 3rd time near the end of the story and it was so unbelievable. Fury's attitude was a whole other issue and I couldn't for the life of me understand why Rumor forgave him as much as she did. I didn't feel the chemistry between them at all and to be honest by the end I was ready to be done with the characters and this story. The mystery part when it came to Eric (Fury) and Daisy didn't get told until almost the end of the story and when I finally read what it was, let's just say I expected it to be more than what it was. This story was not the one for me.

I loved the first book in this series and I've been dying to read Rumor'sFury and OMG I am sooo glad I did, it was such a fantastic story. My heart went out to both if these characters, they're both so broken but together they just work, Fury definitely takes after his name and Rumor is bad###, love her take no crap attitude. This is one of those books were you want to dislike Fury but you just can't, instead you end up rooting for him😀😀, loved catching up with Whiskey and Charlie, now I can't for who comes next😁😁😁 Rumor's Fury had everything in from drama to sadness to action to sexiness it's just an Awesome book

I loved Charlie's Whiskey, so I knew I was going to live Rumor's Fury. Harlow didn't disappoint. Both characters were so broken, and so set on a life alone, but then they found each other. Fury is so rude at first, I wanted to slap him. Rumor is sassy and knows how to stand up for herself. I absolutely loved this book. It's definitely a 5 star, one click in my opinion!

Another unputdownable book from Harlow Brown. Her characters are flawed, dynamic and trying to get out situations that were forced upon them.

Rumor plays for the Regulators and is good friends Charlie. She’s a single mother who is trying to right. She’s at the MC and meets Fury. Instant chemistry; but that can’t be enough.

I really enjoyed this and I’m excited to see what unfolds.
