Mum Charlene McMahon, 27, says the young star sings it numerous times a day and is desperate to see the new Bohemian Rhapsody film which hit cinemas this week.

In the hilarious video Holly can be seen showing off her vocal range, hitting all the high and low notes with encouragement from her mum.

Fitness instructor Charlene, from Armadale, West Lothian, said: “She just sings it all the time.

“She started learning it about three months ago.

“She was bored in the car and I was trying to entertain her. It’s the only song I knew all the words to so I started singing it.

“Since then she loves watching the video and singing it. She watches the video about five or six times a week and sings the song three or four times a day.

“She bounces about and when it’s the bit with the heads she just sings and tries to do everyone’s different voices – the high pitch and the low pitch.

“It’s so funny when she comes out with these words like ‘monstrosity’.”

Charlene decided to film Holly while they were waiting to pick her dad up at the end of September and shared the video on social media - much to the delight of family members and friends.

Charlene, who also has a one-year-old son Ruaridh Lee, said: “People were commenting saying it’s really impressive.

“They’re impressed that she knows all the words.

“It’s funny because she’s the shyest little girl ever. If someone comes up and asks her to sing she won’t do it – she’s so shy.

“She likes to do it in the house but not in front of an audience.

“She used to call it the Galileo song but had to learn how to say Bohemian Rhapsody properly so that when she goes to her grandma’s house she can ask Alexa to find the song for her.

“It’s a funny song for her to sing because it goes higher and lower.

“It didn’t take her long to learn the words at all, I’d say a couple of days. She knows most of the words but still gets some of them wrong.

“She started off doing the ‘mamma mia’ bit then the Galileo bit then the rest of it. She learnt it in three sections and then put them together.”

Charlene said her and HGV driver partner Darrell Lee, 29, are looking forward to seeing the Bohemian Rhapsody film which was released this week starring Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury.

Charlene, who also teaches highland dancing, said: “Holly keeps seeing the advert on the TV and is asking if she can go to the cinema.

“I was so impressed when she first started singing it but now she does it all the time so it’s lost its novelty.

“I do like Queen but I’m looking forward to when she starts singing Elvis.

“I think maybe she will be a singer when she’s older but I’m also hoping that she’ll be into Highland dancing.”
