Scots YouTube star Jamie Genevieve receives Tennent’s Gold Can award joining the likes of Biffy Clyro and Irvine Welsh
The 25-year-old make-up artist received the coveted golden tinnie for her 'outstanding contribution to Scotland and the world'
YOUTUBE sensation Jamie Genevieve has received a Tennent's Gold Can award joining a host of Scots stars in the Golden Can Hall of Fame.
The 25-year-old Scots make up artist was chosen for a golden tinnie due to her "outstanding creative contribution to Scotland and the world".
Jamie, originally from Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire was buzzing being chosen for the award and confessed she's a huge fan of the beer.
She said: "I can’t believe it - I’ve been a long time Tennent’s drinker and out of all the awards I’ve been nominated for this definitely feels the most fitting.
“It’s so cool to join the ranks of the Golden Can Hall of Fame.
"My dad will be so proud!”
The vlogger has more than 50million YouTube views and 1.2million Instagram followers including Hollywood star Drew Barrymore
She has created her own hugely popular brand starting from Glasgow's make-up counters to become a star.
And this year she made her TV debut with a documentary on her life 'Jamie Genevieve#unfiltered' which aired on the new BBC Scotland channel.
Tennent's have recognised Jamie as one of the most exciting upcoming stars in Scotland.
The internet sensation picked up her award at Tennent's Wellpark brewery yesterday with her fiancé Jack McCann.

She told the Scottish Sun: “It’s exciting but a bit scary. People choose to watch me on YouTube. But now people will have the telly on and I’ll just appear so it’ll be interesting to see the reaction.
