A woman has been seriously injured in an early morning hit-and-run crash in West Molesey.

The woman, in her 30s, was knocked down on Walton Road, near to the junction with the A3050, by a silver car at about 2am to 2.15am on Sunday (January 13).

Surrey Police said the car drove off towards Weybridge.

The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Sergeant Geoff Longstaff, of Surrey’s Roads Policing Unit, said: “I would urge anybody with any information about the silver car to get in touch with us immediately. If you know someone who was out in this area at this time with a silver vehicle and it unexpectedly has some form of damage, please let us know.

“Also if you were driving through this area at this time and have any form of dash cam footage, the vehicle might have driven passed you.”
