Prepare for the New York State Real Estate Salesperson’s Examination with this mandatory
75-hour license qualifying course. Topics include license law and regulations, law of agency,
real estate instruments, estates and interests, real estate financing, land use regulations,
construction, valuation, human rights issues, fair housing law, real estate mathematics, and
environmental issues. Students will be required to purchase the textbook New York Real Estate
for Salespersons, 6th Edition published by OnCourse Publishing (ISBN 978-1-62980-025-7).
Please note: missing more than two class meetings will result in a withdrawal from the

XAU110 AUTOMOTIVE OSCILLOSCOPE DIAGNOSTICS Tuition $200.00
With ever more complex diagnostic problems facing the advanced diagnostic technician, a tool
to get to the real cause of the problem has never been more valuable. Only with an oscilloscope
do you have the ability to diagnose these complex faults. This one-day blended classroom and
hands-on course will cover the theory and operation of automotive oscilloscopes. The hands-
on portion of this class will include performing oscilloscope test functions, including relative
compression testing, current ramping, ignition system testing, cam-crank correlation, MAF
testing, and more. This class is designed around the Pico Scope platform but applies to Snap-
on, Autel and other automotive oscilloscopes. Scope owners are encouraged to bring their own
scope, however, all tools and equipment will be supplied. (2 meetings)

A great follow-up to Introduction to Specialized Automotive Electronics Training for the person
looking to improve their automotive electrical troubleshooting skills. This lecture/lab course
focuses on reading wiring diagrams (schematics) and effective diagnostic strategies for use
with various automotive electrical accessories. Students will build on skills covered in the
introductory course by testing and diagnosing electrical circuits on shop cars, using online
service information and test equipment. All equipment will be provided. However, students are
encouraged to bring their own digital test meter and test light. (3 meetings)

ELECTRONICS TRAINING
A great class for the beginner just starting out in the field, or for current technicians looking to
branch out into electrical diagnosis. Learn how electric circuits in an automobile work through
lecture and lab experiences. Emphasis is on learning circuit behavior and use of digital test
meters. Students will practice building and testing circuits on project boards. Series and
parallel circuitry will be covered as well as beginning diagnostic strategy. Students may bring
their own meters. However, class meters will be available. (3 meetings)
