College football Week 9 odds: Opening point spreads for every game

The opening point spreads for every college football are here and there are plenty of opportunities for you to cash in this weekend.

There may not be a ton of great games on the Week 9 schedule, but there are a ton of interesting and compelling lines that will make for some exciting games for those who are gambling on the action. The biggest game of the weekend is the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party between Florida and Georgia in Jacksonville.

The SEC East game is one of three between ranked opponents and the only one featuring a pair of teams inside the Top 10. The winner will move one giant step closer toward an SEC East division title while the loser will unofficially officially be eliminated from division contention. The Bulldogs open up as a touchdown favorite and that’s not entirely surprising, but the early thought about this meeting is you’ll want to bet on the favorite.

Another marquee game is Iowa taking on Penn State where the Nittany Lions are a five-point favorite over the Hawkeyes despite playing pretty shaky in recent weeks, including having a pair of losses.

The last of the ranked games pits Washington State against Stanford. The Cougars are riding high after a big home win against Oregon with College GameDay in attendance, but they can’t afford an emotional letdown with a big road test with the Cardinal.
