[OC] I hiked three steps of a treacherous curb next to a McDonald's parking lot to take this picture. Canmore, Alberta [2600x1800] [IG @nwel.saturay]

I saw someone throw fries at an employee at that McDonald's once.
Everyone should have a one year mandatory retail/fastfood/hospitality experience before 20. The world will be a much nicer place.
It really would be.
Did they not get their pickles or something? Lol if someone threw fries at me at work I’d pour soda on their head
I'd lose my shit for sure.
I'd eat them. I LOVE McDonald's fries!
This post sent me down a google maps rabbit hole.
Now I just want to move to Canada and become a lumberjack–leaping from tree to tree as they float down the mighty rivers of British Columbia–with my best girl by my side!
The Larch! The Pine! The Giant Redwood tree! The Sequoia! The Little Whopping Rule Tree!
We'd sing! Sing! Sing!
I want whatever you’re smoking. It’s probably legal here too now.
Well... He's a lumberjack and that's ok He sleeps all night and he works all day
He cuts down trees, he skips and jumps
He likes to press wild flowers
He likes to wear women’s clothing.
And hang around in bars ?
I'm going to move to Canada and work at this McDonald's. And hope someone throws fries at me. Yum. And yummy view. Self fulfillment right there.

Thank you. It was an experience :)
I bought a Filet O’ Fish at that very location. The sandwich was delicious and the transaction was uneventful.
I am oddly satisfied by this information.
I love that McDonald's. A couple buddies and I stopped there after a couple nights back country and the till clerk thought we were homeless. To be fair, we looked it.
A restaurant with a view
Dude! Way to commit to your art! Sometimes you have to do the hard work to get the shot.
The Mighty EEOR (east end of Mount Rundle)!
It's MPOR (middle part of Rundle). That little mouth like thing left of centre gives it away. Here's a view of that end of the mountain, EEOR on the left the mouth on the right.
Yep!! Most shots are from the Vermillion Lakes side!
Was just in Canmore a couple weeks ago and can say this view never gets old.
Looks like Jabba the Hutt
How do I unsee this?
Loved your caption... not one to be expected of a scene like this. Then again, McDonalds are like Starbucks... they’re everywhere.
You made me spit my drink all over my screen. Thank you for braving the dangers and sacrificing all that you had to bring us this amazing picture.
Thanks! I did go to a proper hike that day, which was negated by the two Quarter Pounders I ate to reward myself. :(
It was literally all of 3 steps from a McDonald’s. No word of a lie. This is Canada’s backyard. It’s right in every west side city.
If hashtag #bobross isn't a thing yet, we've failed as a community.
Where the f are your McDonald’s? Usually, mine are in depressed parking lots
51.1036° N, 115.3633° W :)
So is this mcdonalds on an adjacent mountian?
Just at the foot of the mountain.
Last week this dude I know ordered a Happy Meal from McDonald's. There was a clump of matted hair stuck to the fries.
This comment just gave me mouth sweats you rotten bastard.

Pixel nazi bot.
God bless you for the terrible risk you took to get this shot.
