As reported by The Lurker last month, Melbourne have confirmed the signing of former halfback Ryley Jacks on a one-year deal.

The 27-year-old heads back to the Storm after one forgettable season with the Titans.

After losing playmaker Brodie Croft to Brisbane, Jacks will provide cover in the halves as Craig Bellamy looks to put together another team capable of winning the title.

Jacks played 25 games in his first stint at the Storm, winning a remarkable 80% of those matches.

It wasn't so fruitful for the Queenslander while on the Gold Coast, playing 13 times for 12 losses  failing to nail down a spot in the struggling side.

Jacks wasn't offered a new deal by the Titans for 2020, with the playmaker taking up a train and trial option with Melbourne in a bid to continue his first-grade career.

The Storm confirmed on Tuesday that Jacks has signed a one-year contract with the club.

He will likely be behind Cameron Munster and Jahrome Hughes in the pecking order for a spot in the halves, though is sure to get his chances throughout the season.
