The Mighty Glasgow Green Cycling Club is a GO for 2019!!! (obviously!!)
Thats the British Cycling and also the CTT affiliations submitted and paid for 2019!
As advised I have registered us as a 'non-sponsored' club and also only registered the original black and white and the all black kit (any combination of) for competition so the new all white is as agreed a 'leisure / social / summer' top.
** 'if' you turn up at a competitive event with older kit on with our old sponsors on, you 'may' be told to change depending on who the commissaire is. This is just relevant for competitive events.
Ive amended the 'chat' on the info section of British Cycling to advise - 'please make sure you can cover a minimum of 50 miles at a minimum of 16mph as this is the average speed of the steady group' as there have been a couple of 'incidents' this year with folk pitching up and either being not self sufficient, not aware of gears or just simply too slow and thats not fair on you guys that are out to ride bikes (you aint out to babysit in all fairness!)
We are in our 8th year now.......wow!!.....and it just keeps getting better thanks to all of you!!
