Southampton has lost striker Danny Ings to a hamstring injury, with the forward expected to miss three weeks of action.
Southampton coach, Ralph Hasenhuttl confirmed the striker’s injury and his absence for the weekend’s match against Cardiff City at they look to go five points clear of the relegation zone.
Danny Ings is set to miss league games against Arsenal and Fulham later in the month.
He has scored seven goals in eighteen league matches for the Saints.
