Kynan McGrath is a 26 yr. old former marine from London who is trying to adjust back to civilian life. When he's offered a job working with his friend Jerico, it's just what he needs. Jerico is starting up a security firm called Jameson Group based in Vegas, and thinks Kynan will fit in perfectly. His first assignment is to protect a beautiful pop princess who is performing in Vegas. She's stunning, and watching over her definitely won't be a chore, but she is off limits to him.
Joslyn Meyers is a 19 yr. old woman with a passion for singing. With a popular Vegas act she's slowly becoming a rising star as her fan base keeps growing. With fame also comes pressure. She's been overwhelmed lately by her mom/manager who will stop at nothing to further her career. The latest decision her mom decided is that she needs full time security. She is originally reluctant, but soon changes her tune when she takes a look at her tall, hot, blond, tattooed, British bodyguard.
-She was a stunningly gorgeous creature with immense talent. If you weren't swayed to fall in love with her voice, you only had to take one look at her face and body to succumb.
-She's captivating in a way I've never known.

Joslyn quickly develops a crush on Kynan, and soon he's all she can think about. She's heading to her hometown of Cunningham Falls, Montana to headline a charity event. Kynan goes with her, and neither can fight their crazy attraction. Something special is happening between them, and she now wonders if the threat to her heart is greater than the threat to her safety.
Protecting Joslyn has to be Kynan's top priority. She's supposed to be just a job, a client, and nothing more, but in a short amount of time she's become important to him. He knows he shouldn't get involved with her, but she affects him on so many levels it's ridiculous. Things are intense and he's completely mesmerized by her. He knows giving in to his feelings will only complicate things, but he's finding it hard not to listen to his heart, and his heart says she's meant to be his. With outside forces interfering and life taking them in different directions can their love survive?
Wicked Force is a Wicked Horse Vegas/Big Sky novella that's part of the Kristen Proby Crossover Collection. It was a fabulous, short, sexy read, and I look forward to getting more of this couple in Code Name: Genesis which will be book one in Sawyer Bennett's new Jameson Force Security series releasing early May 2019.

Kynan is all mine!!
I've been DYING for more of Kynan for so long and I finally get a bit of him. (I need more by the end of still wasn't enough) When I first got to meet him in the Wicked House Vegas series I hooked on him he has been in and out of the whole series but still no book. So I thought it would be the last book in the series but still both then I heard about this and got so excited and then get even more excited with her new series he was going to be in as well. Getting a lil bit of them in The Cock Tales book had me even more excited. I knew Jocelyn and Kynan relationship was an easy one just from the that book but wow it a crazy ride and there is still so much more to know.
This book is basically how they met and how there relationship started. Jocelyn is a young singer trying to make it big in the world. She is a singer in a Vegas hotel and loves what's she does. Her step mum is her manager and is pushing to make her career even bigger. There relationship is a lil up and down it's like her step mum as lost sight on what Jocelyn wants. Jocelyn is a strong character she might be young but she knows what makes her happy and that's singing. There have been a few weird letter that has caught there attention. Jocelyn seems to think there nothing but her step mum things security is needed this way where the very sexy Kynan comes in.
Kynan good this guy is so great. This author really knows how to make a guy stand out in a series. She did it in the first Wicked Horse series and she did it with Kynan. Kynan is an ex Military guy and is know one of the head guys at The Jameson Group security. There a new company but are getting well known. They have the best guys and when she was asked to join by his best friend he didn't have to be ask twice. He first job is to look after Jocelyn. When he first sees her he is shocked at how beautiful this girl is. It wasn't goin to be easy to keep away from her. He needed to thing about protecting her more than getting his hands on her.
I highly recommend this book. It's a great part to this series the Crossover series and it's great set up for Sawyer Bennett's new series to. I'm really looking forward to more of Jocelyn and Kynan after the way this book ended. Yes a cliffy!! I wanted to scream at the end. The story is really good I couldn't put it down i was dying to know more about these characters. There sexual tension is high throughout this whole book they couldn't keep there hands of each other once they finally gave in to temptation. I would of like a lil more of from Cunningham Falls. I did liked the way it was tied in with the Crossover series but I just wanted to see a few of the other characters from it. I'm really enjoying that series and looking forward to more from the other authors that are in it. But I need to know more about from this coupled. Looking forward to the start of The Jameson Group and more of Kynan.

Wicked Force by Sawyer Bennett was a novella in the Wicked Horse/Big Sky cross over series. It was a prequel to Bennett’s Jameson Force Security series.
I had attempted to read this when it was first released but had a hard time getting past the second chapter. I realized it had nothing to do with the writing or the storyline, both were very good. But my dislike was because of the step mother. Abuse is not always physical or obvious, but she totally embodied a form of it. I was not a fan. Unfortunately she was in the majority of the scenes.
Otherwise, I liked both Kynan and Joslyn. Joslyn Meyers was an up and coming pop singer who was performing a regular schedule in Las Vegas. The Jameson Group was hired as her security detail and Kynan McGrath was assigned the lead. The attraction was immediate.
Wicked Force was a quick and enjoyable read and ended in a happy for now scenario but a slight cliff hanger. The story will continue in Code Name: Genesis.

Wicked Force is Kynan McGrath’s story. After seeing Kynan throughout the Wicked Horse Vegas Series as well as the Jamesonforce Series (if you have read that first), you were probably just as excited to read about how he finds love as I was.
In all discretion I read the second book, Code Name Genesis prior to this one because I didn’t even know Code Name Genesis had a book before it. Code Name Genesis is one of my all-time favorite books. It’s one of the best second chance romances I have ever read in my life filled with such passion and real love. This is how it all started.
It’s so interesting to see how Kynan is more subdued with Joslyn as she’s young and inexperienced. Her stepmother is just as meddling as ever here. She is truly the wicked stepmother but doesn’t make that much of an appearance in the book.
I loved this and loved the second book more.
Joslyn and Kynan are just the cutest couple and I love them so much. I honestly want Sawyer to write another story with them. I crave them as a couple and think about them often.

I’m so excited about this Kristen Proby Crossover Collection!! I loved this book and the tie-in to the Big Sky Series and Cunningham Falls. It was such a sweet sexy little read. Sawyer Bennet is another one of my favorite authors so getting my hands on this book a little early was the absolute best! I will no doubt read every book in the Collection if they are all this good.
I loved Kynan and Joselyn. It was a true sort of forbidden first love story where the characters try and fight it but ultimately the connection is too strong to keep them apart. Major disappointment.
Having read the first three chapters in the Cocktales Anthology I looked forward to reading the complete story but then we get this short teaser which was just another fill in/padding for the release of the full story.
It would have been much better to release this as a complete book.

Three lackluster I wasn’t impressed but being generous stars
THIS IS NOT A STAND ALONE
Sawyer Bennett is a new to me author, and I’m not familiar with Kristen Proby’s Big Sky series either, so Wicked Force was completely new to me.
I have several problems with this story. The first one being I was creeped out at 90% of it. Joslyn is only 19, she’s still a child, she’s still a child who can’t even stand up to her own mother. I do not read young adult because I am not a fan of reading about children, if you would put this is the YA category is questionable, but that is where I would put it. Then just when I think I can forget that she is just a child, a sex scene happens and it’s brought up that she’s never done something before, or she has never experienced something before, and bam! Just like that I’m reminded that she’s a kid, and I’m back to being creeped out.
The second is I’m very confused as to where this story falls in Sawyer Bennett’s world. Wicked Force is supposed to be book 4.5 in this Wicked Horse world, yet when I read the synopsis for book one it has a character that appears in this story, but this character is out at strip clubs with the sole purpose of picking up random women. Certainly doesn’t sound like someone who had their HEA. So either this book should of been labeled .5 instead of 4.5, or I’m clearly not interested in the type of men Ms. Bennett writes about. Here’s to hoping that it’s just mislabeled.
The third is Kynan. The age difference wouldn’t normally bother me, it’s only 6 years. My problem is the time of the age difference. I don’t know a single stand up guy in his mid twenties that would look twice at a teenager, I know a bunch of creeps who would, but not a one stand up guy. As soon as Kynan meets Joslyn his dick starts twitching for this girl barely out of high school and blah, blah, blah, were backed at being creeped out.
The forth is by the time I finished the last page of the last chapter, once I looked past the creepy factor, I didn’t hate the overall story, I didn’t particularly enjoy it, but I didn’t hate it. Then I read the epilogue and discovered that this is not a stand alone after all. And that’s all I will say about that because I don’t want to give any spoilers, but yeah, not a stand alone.
The things I did enjoy about the story is the writing wasn’t bad, it was actually fairly well written, and honestly if Joslyn was even two years older, I probably would of given it an extra half a star. I actually really liked Kynan’s character. He was noble, honest, and more interested in making sure Joslyn was making the right decisions for her than he was about putting himself first. He actually had some depth to him, and I genuinely felt his conflict over his feeling for Joslyn. He alone saved this from being a 2 star read.
Even after all of that, I’m still going to give to book that needs to be read after Wicked Force a chance. There were enough things in the story to make me give the author another chance, but mainly because I hate leaving a story unfinished.

As soon as Kynan meets Joslyn his dick starts twitching for this girl barely out of high school and blah, blah, blah, were backed at being creeped out.
The forth is by the time I finished the last page of the last chapter, once I looked past the creepy factor, I didn’t hate the overall story, I didn’t particularly enjoy it, but I didn’t hate it. Then I read the epilogue and discovered that this is not a stand alone after all. And that’s all I will say about that because I don’t want to give any spoilers, but yeah, not a stand alone.
The things I did enjoy about the story is the writing wasn’t bad, it was actually fairly well written, and honestly if Joslyn was even two years older, I probably would of given it an extra half a star. I actually really liked Kynan’s character. He was noble, honest, and more interested in making sure Joslyn was making the right decisions for her than he was about putting himself first. He actually had some depth to him, and I genuinely felt his conflict over his feeling for Joslyn. He alone saved this from being a 2 star read.
Even after all of that, I’m still going to give to book that needs to be read after Wicked Force a chance. There were enough things in the story to make me give the author another chance, but mainly because I hate leaving a story unfinished.

This was included in Kristen Proby's crossover series, and while I had high hopes for the book (ahem Cunningham Falls) it just didn't live up to the hype. There is a 19 year old pop star and a 26 year old body guard. Add in a controlling Momager and it sums up the book. The whole book felt oddly put together, and the internal dialogue felt forced. And the "ending", wasn't really an ending but a beginning of another book. I'm sure someone will LOVE this book, it just wasn't me.

Kynan is a former marine who served the Crown in the Middle East and during that time, became friends with Jericho Jameson. Jameson comes to him with an offer he cannot pass up helping him start up a security firm in Las Vegas.
Joslyn is an up and coming singing star currently in residence in Las Vegas and due to some threatening/weird fan mail coming in, her "mom"ager Madeline decides to hire a security detail for Jos.
"She's precious to this world. To me as well, but that can never go anywhere except the interior of my heart."
I loved getting to see another side of Sawyer's Vegas, as well as their visit to Cunningham Falls, Mt, for a charity show. During their time together, Joslyn and Kynan try to fight the attraction between them, all the while Kynan is working to keep her safe from a serious threat to her life. Sparks fly no matter what they do to resist and man oh man are there fireworks when they finally stop resisting.
Now we have to wait to see what happens after choice are made and lives are impacted.

Having already met Kynan McGrath in the Wicked Horse series, its great to see him come into himself in this Wicked Horse Vegas novella.
Kynan has joined Jerico’s Jameson Group, following his stint in the marines, and has been enlisted to protect an up and coming Vegas singer, Joslyn Meyers. Nothing could have prepared him for the level of attraction he felt for her, especially given her age and the assumption of how he expected her to be.
Joslyn finds herself under threat of an over enthusiastic fan, now she is a resident of Las Vegas. Her very pushy stepmum enlists the protection of the Jameson group to ensure Joslyn’s safety, especially as she appears to have a promising future.
What is apparent in this quick story, is that Sawyer ensures you’re suitably hooked and supplied with sufficient backstory to enjoy an intense match. The tension is just right, and the matching perfect, given the perceived young age of the h.
Can’t wait for her latest security series in a few months..bring on the Jameson crew!

It has been an absolute joy reading the Kristen Proby crossover series with some of my favorite authors. I'm a new fan of Sawyer Bennett since I've just recently started to devour her books. With that being said, I'm new to her Wicked Horse Vegas series, so this was a nice little teaser to this world and one that absolutely want to start reading from.

Flipping heck, I’m getting all the feels right now. I love Joslyn and Kynan, and from the very first page, I knew I needed their happy ever after. Joslyn Meyers is so sweet, such a lovely humble girl, who instantly connects to her new security guard, the very British, Kynan McGrath. Kynan though, is determined not to mix business with pleasure, so even though there’s a magnetic force between them, he is not going to act on it. Yeh right. A sexy security guard, an up and coming young star, and a pushy step mum, all makes for interesting reading. A quick, flirty and sexy story that I didn’t want to end. Thankfully we get the rest of their story in a full length novel. I can’t wait, I already know I’m going to love Sawyer’s new Jameson Force Security series. Bring it on. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review.

I’m really glad I was part of the blog tour not only for this title but for two others as well because now I just want to devour Kristen’s Big Sky series! I’ve already devoured all things Wicked Horse Vegas and this was an excellent addition! And not only that, but *swoon* Jerico makes an appearance so we are introduced to Sawyer’s next adventure, Jameson Force Security! Eepppp, I just can’t wait!
It’s no secret I will read all things Sawyer Bennett and scream from the high heavens what a great read they all are …. This is me signing lol
Okay so this was a short read but by no means incomplete. It’s meant to be a novella. It was sexy and flirty and just ridiculously good. You’ll devour it in mere hours.

I can't finish this. I hate the female narrator (love Shane East)! I also hate the story. I really like Kynan, but I'm just not feeling the 19 year old pop princess storyline. Gah! I really love the WHLV series, and apparently this is a prequel, but I don't mind passing on it.

Wicked Force is the third book I have read in Kristen Proby’s Crossover Collection. I will say that although I found it entertaining and enjoyable, it isn’t my favorite of the collection, so far.
I think the problem lies with my expectations of this story. I was expecting something a little different, so this story took me by surprise a little. I did love that it is kind of a prequel to Sawyer’s new and upcoming series Jameson Force Series.
I felt that this book was kind of stuck in between 2 worlds and I didn’t know where it fit in. It wasn’t what I have come to expect from a Wicked Horse Vegas book and it didn’t have that small town feeling that I expect from a Big Sky story. I think my biggest thing is that after reading the 2 other books in this crossover collection, I expected all the books to be like those. Based more on Cunningham Falls. And this wasn’t. We had a short stint in Cunningham Falls and that was it. It’s hard to explain and maybe this is all a “me” thing.
Either way, I did like this story and I enjoyed meeting Joslyn and Kynan. I am truly looking forward to Sawyer’s new series and where she takes Joslyn and Kynan’s story.
I know this review sounds like I didn’t like this book, and that couldn’t be further from the truth. I just think had it been presented as it’s own prequel and not connected into the other two worlds this could’ve been a 5 star read for me.

Sawyer Bennett is one of my go to authors and it's another great offering from her. Wicked Force is part of the Kristen Proby crossover series, but regardless if you've read any Proby book's, you can still enjoy this one.
We are introduced to Kynan McGrath when he is hired by his buddy Jerico Jameson to work for his newly formed security firm The Jameson Group. His first assignment is to be the bodyguard for up and coming singer Joslyn Meyers. Joslyn's stepmother feels that she is in danger with trajectory that her career is beginning to take and so she hires The Jameson Group to make sure she is protected.
It's clear from the moment that Kynan and Joslyn meet that there is a connection there. With the nature of their relationship, it's clear they shouldn't get involved with one another, but will they give into their attraction or will their careers end up keeping them apart in the end?
It's hard not to like both of these characters. Certainly Kynan is strong, confident and he boasts a British accent, which is never a deterrent. While Joslyn is still trying to find her footing, she's got a good head on her shoulders and she has great instincts, not to mention her singing talents.
I really enjoyed this and I'm looking forward to Sawyer Bennett's upcoming Jameson Force Security series as well!

I was really liking this one with the first few chapters and then I started searching the author's series list to see where this fits in and if I want to read more from the series, and then I noticed that this couple has another book and one that looks like it is 10 years or more past this one where it looks like Joslyn and Kynan haven't been together that WHOLE time. So that REALLY hindered my enjoyment of this story and honestly had me wondering if this book would have an HEA or not, it sorta does. But all of that foreknowledge, though I'm grateful I did it, still harmed this story. And seeing all the reviews for that the follow up I'm not sure I even want to read it.
As for the start and the parts I liked: I liked the age gap (7 years), I liked that she was so young (19) and the slight taboo of it, I liked their chemistry when they were together.
As for how this fits with Kristen's series: it is mentioned a few times in a few stories that Joslyn is from Cunningham Falls, other than that we never see her. We just know that she is a famous singer and visitors name drop her when they are in town b/c that is all they really know about the town.
In this story she does come home to do a charity concert and we see a bit of the town but other than that, this is outside Kristen's world

5 star Review Wicked Force (The Wicked Horse Vegas # 4.5) by Sawyer Bennett
I have read the previous books in the Wicked Horse Vegas series and Wicked Force has all the passion and fire that we have come to expect.
I have been intrigued by British Kynan since he was first mentioned in the series. Now the 26 year old alpha male has taken an assignment as a bodyguard protecting rising singer Joslyn.
This book was well written and exciting to read, emotional and at times intense as Kynan McGrath and Joslyn Meyers struggle to ignore their feelings and chemistry.
I really loved these characters and was intrigued as Sawyer Bennett delved into their characters. I was glued to the book from start to finish and I didn’t want it to end.
Wicked Force gives us an insight into Kynan and Joslyn’s story and I cannot wait for their story to continue in Code Name: Genesis (Jameson Force Security #1) to see how Ms. Bennett concludes their story.

I read 4 books for this collection ...my faves in this order (i must say that none of these stories are similar, unless u say they are all romance reads??! so u can not really judge them this or that, just that i enjoyed one more than other, maybe that i connected more with one, 'cause of the characters, emotions i felt, memories it made me think of or whatnot? tunes, visuals, whatever, if that makes any sense? i've read all authors before, expect Samantha Young, she is a newbie author to me, love finding new authors and enjoyed these reads so so much.) Hold On by: Samantha Young, Worth Fighting For by: Laura Kaye, All Stars Fall by Rachel Van Dyken and Wicked Force by: Sawyer Bennett. I think for a lot of folks who are familiar with these authors and their books and ones who have kept up with their reads u will probably follow more or understand more than i did. look forward to more from all these authors ... can't wait!! must reads for sure! ( ;

This was a good book to start off the story of Kynan and Joslyn. Kynan sounds like a strong, hunky British man. I love accents, and can understand Joslyn falling for Kynan, especially with him being her bodyguard working for the Jameson Group. I couldn’t completely understand why Joslyn has let her step mother control her life like she has. I didn’t like that her step mother acted too much like her agent and not enough like a mother. I think she is conniving and manipulative. I could tell how much Joslyn loves singing. I understood how she did not want to act since it felt like a chore and didn’t make her happy. I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens with Kynan and Joslyn! I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

Kynan was instantly captivated by the blonde beauty and Joslyn was instantly drawn to the sexy former British marine. They shouldn’t have a relationship, Kynan was there for a job, but you can only fight the attraction for so long, especially when you spend as much time as they did together.
This was a fast pace, instant love. It was hot, it was sweet and there was a little drama when it came to Joslyn’s mother. It does end on little bit of a cliffhanger, but their story picks up in the upcoming release Code Name: Genesis.

I love this crossover collection! I am on a binge of them right now and I completely and loving each and every one of them.
This was a sex read from start to finish. This duo was forbidden love and it was EVERYTHING! I don't have to give anything away but remember exactly WHICH series we are crossing here because you need to prepare for all the swoon.
This was the HEA that I wanted and it was hot and sex from the very start. Sometimes I want a long drawn out romance, and sometimes I want The Wicked Horse style read.
