What was your first car?

My first ever car was a Renault 5 which I absolutely loved! Small and nippy and quite feminine! I loved it!

How many times did it take to pass your test?

My Dad taught me to drive in Kent when I was about 16. We drove around private roads, just getting used to the clutch and hill starts so that by the time I was 17 and on the roads I was quite confident. I had two double lessons with an instructor before my test and passed it first time and wanted to hug and kiss the examiner.

Who would be your ideal fantasy passenger and where would you go?

I have always wanted to meet Jamie Oliver. I am a huge admirer of his and the work he does for kids and their meals. I feel as though I know him, but maybe one day maybe our paths will cross. I would love to drive to Tuscany and explore its cooking.

What is your dream car?

My dream car is a Jaguar XK8 which I have always had a soft spot for. Very classy. I had one a while ago, but sold it to pay a tax bill and will hopefully one day have one again.

How would you describe your driving style?

I cringe when I look back at my younger driving days as I think I was far too fast and risk-taking and always in a hurry to get somewhere on the roads. Now I would say I was very competent, but far more passive and safe and don't want to take any risks at all.

Tell me one driving anecdote from your past?

Embarrassed to tell you this, but I broke down in torrential rain in the fast lane of the M25 when I was quite young. To my amazement I noticed a police Range Rover on the hard shoulder directly opposite who I waved frantically at for help. In a rather robotic voice the policeman told me to "step back inside the vehicle". I misheard him and thought he said "step in the back of your vehicle". I sat in the back while they pushed the car with no driver! Embarrassing!

What is playing on your in car iPod or CD player at the moment?

I am listening to Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to Black’. I never tire of listening to such an incredible album

What do you drive now and why?

I drive a Fiat 500 which is the most favourite car I've ever had. It’s economical and so easy to drive and park. I am in love with it.
