In Remembrance of Barbara Salata
AAUW Preschool shares in the sorrow of the passing of former teacher, Barbara Salata.
Miss Barbara taught at AAUW Preschool through the 1970’s into the early 1980’s.
She was beloved by preschool families and colleagues alike.
Miss Barbara is well remembered for her love of storytelling and block play. Children adored her and families would often request their children be in her classes.
Miss Barbara worked with several staff and many student teachers over her years at AAUW Preschool and is remembered as energetic, always having a sunny disposition, having a great sense of humor, and somehow managing to stay clean through children’s messy play. Miss Barbara was the epitome of what a preschool teacher should be.
In remembrance of a teacher who made a difference in the lives she touched,
Miss Barbara will stay in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to AAUW Preschool.
