UPDATE: Loughlin has been fired by Hallmark Channel following the Scandal.
Uh-oh, ‘Aunt Becky’ is in big trouble. Fuller House Star, Lori Loughlin surrendered to the FBI on Wednesday morning (13th March 2019) over her alleged involvement in a major College-Admission Fraud Scheme. Hours later she was released on US $1 Million Bond.
Loughlin faces up to five (5) years in Prison.
Court documents show that both Loughlin and Desperate Housewives alum Felicity Huffman have been charged with “Conspiracy to commit Mail Fraud and Honest Services Mail Fraud.” The Actresses are among 50 individuals who have been charged in connection with the alleged Fraud Scheme.
In 2016, Loughlin’s eldest daughter was preparing to apply for Colleges, but Federal Prosecutors now allege the Actress and her husband, Fashion Designer Mossimo Giannulli, used bribes to get their daughter into the University of Southern California. They also allegedly did the same for their other daughter, who enrolled in USC last Fall. Bribes for both daughters totaled US $500,000.
Her husband, Giannulli, was arrested without incident on Tuesday 12th March 2019.
Loughlin’s next Court appearance will be in Boston Federal Court on 29th March 2019. We are a small operation.
