STRICKEN Fernando Ricksen will make his first public appearance in four months — at a meet and greet with Rangers supporters.
The Ibrox legend, 42, will be the star attraction at a fundraising night for his charity to support his fight against MND.
Pal Pauline Glen, 54, told how the Dutchman — who uses a computer to speak — asked her to organise the bash as she visited him in St Andrews Hospice, Airdrie.
Gers-mad Pauline said: “He wants to do as much as he can before the sad time comes.

“He has stories to tell on his machine and has been writing them up. I don’t know where he gets strength.
"I’ve been visiting him twice a week and he’s always cracking jokes.”
The event will take place at Tradeston Ex-Servicemen’s Club in Glasgow on February 22.
It will be the first time Ricksen has met with fans since he took ill at a bash in Ibrox last October.

We told how he was rushed to hospital and later moved to the hospice, where he will spend the rest of his life.
Pauline, who has had a 20-year friendship with the ace, added: “He’ll maybe come for a couple of hours but Fernando doesn’t like letting his fans down.

“He might stay the whole night but there will be a nurse with him.”
The footie hero was reunited with wife Veronika, 32, and daughter Isabella, six, last week for the first time in three months.
