Everybody Loves Large Chests

A fun, if a bit gory villain protagonist story.  A bit lewd, but not protractedly so. The story justifies its power wank tropes with in universe lore, but draws attention to them by doing so, to a modest detriment.  Four and a half out of five stars, I quite like large chests.

It seemed like a quick joke flick, suggested by someone on Reddit in some random thread long lost. I've never even heard of this site before then.

But it was funny with a novel idea, so I kept reading it. An interesting story developed with a few plot twists I wasn't expecting. The erotic parts were NOT for me, but they were easy enough to skim over. If you're put off from the story by the mention of sex scenes, don't worry, it's far more than that. I don't mind sex scenes personally, but these hit none of my interests and were incredibly off-putting. With any other story I would have stopped reading, but it had been wonderful otherwise so I pushed forward anyways. I'm glad I did. (The scenes vastly decrease over time after meeting Keira, so stick with it!)

I kept reading and reading, finding more chapters than I had imagined. I reached the end a month ago, and now I'm waiting every day for another notification on my RSS feed about another chapter. (Keep in mind it is the only thing on my RSS feed at all.) Some scenes are so powerful, so impactful, so descriptive, that they keep replaying again and again in my mind about how it would all look if it were animated.

The world is vibrant and detailed, the politics of Gods fresh and interesting.

If you haven't yet, give it a chance. Join Himmel on his adventure, and what follows. It starts out pretty good, and gets MUCH better.

The first arc of the story is excellent. After which, the humour disappears and the plot weakens to the point where I was practically skipping through chapters. 

For example, whilst the MC may be a doppelgänger, only playing the role of a female beast kin. The reality of this role takes over, making much of the story actually consist of this pretend personality's day to day.

We have a wonderful start with a non-traditional protagonist. The first few chapters gave me Overlord vibes. Then we veered off into fetish land with unnecessary and plot-irrelevant sex scenes. Then we added a harem sub-plot. Then compounded all of the above with abuse and rape. I'm out.

The interesting premise fell victim to questionable execution. I would have happily have paid to read more about the adventures of the protagonist, but I have no desire to deal with what it became.

Ive finished it and it is worth it.

I'm a big fan of the twist intro, and of the amorality of the protagonist. There's sex scenes, so if you don't want to read that you might want to give it a pass, but they're VERY infrequent, like once every 10-20 chapters if that. Though that's not to say that the story isn't sexualized, because it is. Lots of breasts bouncing and people acting perverted.

Normally that's my jam, unfortunately there's some dubcon that eventually escalates to r*pe which im not too fond of. I get the story's message of an amoral monster and demons and stuff having a completely different mindset, and I think it does present that in a novel way, and it's understandable why this is popular because it does fit that "counterculture" style of being edgy (violent and treading on taboo themes), amoral, and violent.

There's a distinct lack of empathy to be found here and it can get pretty brutal, but if that's what you're looking for, then the novel only escalates in that regard up to the point I decided I was done (approximately 30 chapters in). It's not bad or anything, I just want to move onto another novel.

Some of the jokes in this story are really good. But at the same time there is a lot of smut in this story. I mean way to much and it kinda takes away from the story for me. I get it, some of that smut leads into some of the jokes. But I didn't come in expecting to read all of that. Overall the writing is good. The grammar is pretty good also. The story is okay and pretty funny at some points. Maybe cut down on the smut and it would be a lot better. At least in my opinion.

I started reading Everybody Loves Large Chests around four months ago, I believe. I had passed over it a few times thinking it was some 14 year-old kid's fanfic about big tits, as I had only read the title. I'm not quite sure what it was, but something got me to read the summary and I decided to give the book a try. I have since caught up to the current publications, and I plan on buying a physical copy sometime soon. This is an amazing book. The story continuously takes many unexpected turns and befuddles the reader every chance it gets. There are so many things I would love to see happen or that I excpect to happen, but let's just say that if I was one Goddess of Dice Rolls, I would be plesantly surprised over and over. Please never stop writing!!!!!!!

To be clear, this novel is well written, especially when compared to other web novels.  However, all of the reviews saying this novel was such a surprise or not what you think, I have to wonder about those.  The story does begin with a "twist", and it's clever.  However, as the name and picture imply, this story is filled with sexual themes.  Moreover, a lot of it is pretty disturbing.  I do not recommend personally.  However, if you like those sorts of novels then you might like this, as it is well written.  

I have never enjoyed a story like this one,even all this years later it stands above all other books on Royal Road,Kindle and Audible
