She Found Him

One thing Rose Riley is proud of: standing up for what she believes in while living her best life kindly.

One thing she’s not so proud of: whacking a man on the head with her handmade sign at an animal rights march.

Especially when she takes the whimpering puppy dumped on her front porch to the nearest vet and he turns out to be the man she struck . . . Awkward.

One thing Rose didn’t expect to find before going back home to Australia:

Love.

B. Cranford

B. Cranford is a proud Australian living in the USA, a lover of books, breadsticks and bed, and the mother of two children who are far too similar to their father for her liking. A lifelong reader, she dove into the romance genre on the recommendation of her best friend and hasn’t looked back since. Her debut novel, The Brightest Star, a second chance romance with (she hopes) heart and humor was released on July 13, 2017, which just so happened to be her birthday. Because if you release a book on your birthday, you get twice as much cake, and that can only be a good thing.

Rose + Liam + Wilbur = a swoony, heartfelt love story that'll make you smile so big your cheeks ache.

I wrote this one for my mum, Karen. She's an animal lover (like me!) and a vegan, and for her birthday, she asked me for a book. Not a book you can buy at the local bookstore—one I wrote, and one that features all of the animals she's adopted and loved over the years. With that request, and a few ideas for how she'd like the couple to meet-cute, I set out to write a novella . . .

. . . and ended up with a(n albeit short) full-length book!!

So, this one's for you, Mamamushka. My best friend, my constant support and supporter, and the one I miss most now that we are half a world apart. (Don't tell Dad I said that!)

Sweet and beautiful….

This author knows how to write characters I can’t help but fall in love with myself - be they two or four-legged! Rose and Liam, wonderfully connected by Wilbur, are awkward, funny, flirty and simply… everything.

From an awkward meeting that made me laugh, these characters felt just right as they took a chance encounter and built something meaningful and lasting. Of course, it wasn’t that simple. Oh no, they had to work at it, stumbling at times but always with warmth and humour, they moved forward, one paw step after another. I loved how, whether it was siblings or puppies, these two had ample help in figuring things out! And as you can guess, I don’t want this to be a standalone story, I want/need the sibs to have their own story. They deserve it too!

Another great read by an author owning my re-read shelf! ~Diane, 5 stars

This book is why I love to read romance. A beautiful love story sparked from an adorable chance meeting blossoms into the love of a lifetime. I never once felt Rose and Liam were rushed, they always felt right from the beginning. I loved their chemistry and amazing awesome banter which is B. Cranford's specialty (I also expanded my Australian vocabulary with this story).

I giggled with watery eyes in a lot of parts, and at the end, my heart was full and happy. A romance like She Found Him is good for the soul. 5 "Babe Ruth" stars.

Some days you need to fill your heart up with something sweet and good that you know from the start that fate will have these two characters together.

Rose is not looking for love or a pet. But fate is funny and fickle. Just as she is thinking about winding up her last days in the US, she awkwardly encounters a man she can't quite shake out of her head. However it a set a brown eyes that has her meeting back up with this vet. Her heart gets tangled up in Liam and Wilby. Will an ocean cut loose these heartstrings?

Well, this fluffy butt-hearts-and-unicorns reader was certainly delighted with this story. Ms. Cranford delivers a real life dilemma with affection and humor in her characters. It is a love story that gets the reader to thinking: if you were in Rose's shoes, could you? would you? should you leave two hearts that drop in your life behind? I could really understand the issues she faced. B. Cranford wrote this character that anyone with a heart can connect to. She's awkward, funny and yet very real.

This is one of those stories you can drink down in a day. It's warm, funny and entertaining. Liam will steal your heart as book hero of the year and Wilby will too. I loved that although both were almost too perfect, the author allowed the reader see their vulnerability at the ones to be left behind.

When you are needing something uplifting in your HEA, I'd pick up this story and get lost in it's magic.

She Found Him by B. Cranford is the feel good story of the year!

Liam and Rose will have you swooning, and Wilby will have you wrapped around his cute little paws!

I love that Cranford lets her characters both be romantics and not afraid to show their love for each other, as well as their passion for helping animals.

This is one book that will have you smiling and laughing throughout. And definitely leaves you with a heart that is truly full!

The blurb caught my eye, that was one memorable meet cute and first impression! Plus rescue dog my kryptonite. So yes I did like the start, Liam and Rose were an good pair. Silly banter and humor both their forte, oh I do love me a veterinarian hero. Yes unexpectedly meeting someone when she planned to leave was inconvenient indeed.

I like that they got on so well, it was smooth. It was sweet and heart warming, the banter was light and easy going. If I have one gripe the thing about Rose leaving we know she's homesick the whole no roots in America thing. I get it it's hard to start something with that in mind no need to keep mentioning it. That's all.

It was what I needed after a downer of a book, Liam was a swoon worthy hero. The dedication of this book was a great gesture and surely will make a mom proud. This was not so steamy but I didn't mind the innuedos were fun, sometimes awkward but good. A simple heartfelt romance that was a delightful read.

There is no way a review can do this book justice. I have literally dreamt about Liam, Rose, and adorable dogs for two nights in a row after finishing it. It was so sweet, and exactly what I needed. It was the perfect blend of sweet romance, humor, a sexy hero, and a heroine I think we can all identify with from time to time (at least I could).

B. Cranford brought all the feels with this book. The characters were so real and relatable, but they were also so perfect. She does such an amazing job of writing characters who are vulnerable, but who also put themselves out there anyway. I absolutely love the way she includes humor throughout the book seamlessly. I laughed out loud so many times. My husband was constantly asking me what was so funny.

Liam and Rose were absolutely perfect for each other. They definitely had more than their fair share of things to figure out along the way, but there wasn’t a single second I wasn’t cheering them on. Between the swoony moments, the accidental (and not so accidental) innuendos, and one of the the most adorable meet-cutes in the history of meet-cutes, I was hooked from the first page to the last.

I am, however, left with two questions. When will Kassi and Sasha’s books be out? And, how do I get B. Cranford to write me a book for my birthday? Just kidding...okay, not really haha. This is one book you absolutely do not want to miss!

This book... It was old-fashioned romance and lots of swoon. A slow burn that had me flipping pages until the very end. Beth Cranford's writing, as always, was sweet, witty, and romantic. One minute she had me tearing up, and the next, I was wearing an uncontrollable smile. I loved that each character, in this case Liam and Rose (aka Babe Ruth), had their own special quirks and insecurities that endeared one to the other, and don't get me started on their initial meeting, which was unique and unforgettable. Add in an adorable pup named Wilbur and I was sold.

Their love story was the perfect blend of delightful and snarky, and unbelievably heartfelt. I highly recommend this sweet and incredibly heartwarming romance. 5 stars!!

She Found Him is a really sweet, heart warming romantic story.
Liam is focused on starting his new veterinary clinic and not looking for Love when it arrives and hits him off the head.

“They had something all right, and it was something that Rose hated to think of ending.”

Rose is beginning to get homesick for Australia and her family and friends there. She is not ready to put down roots while in America for a visit.

“You’re talking and thinking like someone who sees the end before even considering all the ways it could continue. And that’s going to doom you, so quit it.”

The story has a cute and fun (if a bit painful) meet-cute. Added in is an adorable pup who tries to steal the show. There is lots of fun banter and very little angst.

What a lovely gift for your mum!!

She Found Him is the story of an Aussie gal, Rose, a charming American guy, Liam and a cute little lost dog named Wilbur/Wilby.

Rose and Liam have the best and funniest meet cute that I have read in a long time! And the nickname that Liam gives Rose because of that is stellar!

Ms. Cranford really shows her range in this story. She is still sassy, she is still hilariously funny and dare I admit, educational! I mean come on, who doesn't want to learn some fun Aussie slang?!?

This story is sweet in all the best ways! Yes there are fade to black moments but that does not take away from the love and steaminess brewing between Rose and Liam. In fact I think it just ramps it up more, gives the reader a chance to use their own imagination on what goes on between the two of them in those moments.

I can understand and empathize with Rose's homesickness, her need for closure and her trepidation. And I can totally empathize with her not know what she wants to be when she grows up! I am still trying to figure that out myself and I am almost twice her age!

Liam is a closet alpha, I loved his inner dialogue! His willingness to do whatever he needs to do to keep Rose in his world.

Loved the tie in with her story on Book + Main! I love Lucas!!

If you are looking for sweet and steamy, get your hands on this!! Well done B.!! I tip my hat to you!

She Found Him is a heartwarming love story. It will make you laugh out loud and smile from ear to ear. The meet-cute between Liam and Rose will "hit" you hard. It is unexpected, yet hilarious.

I absolutely adore these characters. Liam is thoughtful and kind, but the pièce de résistance is that he cares for animals. Rose is quirky, passionate, and caring. She is in a bit of a transition in her life. Homesick and determined to start fresh. Her plans are tested when fate intervenes in the form of a cute, cuddly puppy named Wilbur.

As "Wilby", Rose, and Liam's connection grows, so does the emotion in this story. Their journey is flirty and fun. B. Cranford has a knack for writing endearing, contemplative characters. They not only feel, but think. Thus, so do we as her readers.

She Found Him is a sweet, swoony love story. The humor and heart shine through. It will leave you filled with hope and joy.

She Found Him is the absolute perfect book for a grey winters day or any day for that matter. In Rose & Liam, B. Cranford has given us two characters with the most delightful chemistry. They are clever and swoony, with just the perfect amount of heat. I simply adored their story and want more.

As with her Avenue series, there is a just a fabulous relationship between siblings that is full of gentle teasing with extra servings of love and snark. I adored the relationship between Liam and his sister Sasha (note - sister needs a book) along with Rose’s cousin Kassi (ditto for her). These are characters that just within a few pages, you easily can relate to and come to really, really like.

Make sure you have your hands on this wonderful story as soon as it it’s release, it will be a balm for your heart!!

Happy reading!

Everything you could want in a romance is packed into this story! Moments of awkward humour, the dilemma of falling for someone when you can already see the outcome. Liam is the sweet and sexy vet, with a fun sense of humour surrounded by sassy women. Rose is funny, and awkward and totally relatable as a character. I loved all the references to their different cultures and customs and how they made light of them. Another adorable romance from Beth Cranford.

5 Star review of She Found Him by B.Cranford

This was such a beautifully written love story.
I fell hard and fast for Rose and Liam.

Of course it was Wilby who almost stole the book and his antics at times were hilarious.

What better way to connect than by helping animals in need. The banter and friendship built between Liam and Rose was wonderful.

The love and romance between Liam and Rose was breathtaking to read about. I laughed and swooned, She Found Him was a pleasure to read.

One click now, this is romance at it’s finest.

First, I just want to say that I absolutely love this author! She is amazing and I’m pretty sure I’ve read everything she’s written so far.

Sweet.

A fast, sweet read about a good-guy veterinarian, a tenderhearted Aussie and a rescued puppy. I don’t think there is any way to make this a bad combination. And who doesn’t love a happy puppy ending?

You know what …. This is one of the most romantic, feel good stories I have read lately .

Everything about the story was full of heart. It was an easy read that had me smiling from beginning to end. No big drama, no plot twist, no crazy … just good old fashion romance that made sense and was relatable and realistic :)

Almost every passage that I highlighted while I was reading had a note attached with a smiley face. You just can’t get better than that!

Rose Riley is an animal lover who marches to beat of her own drum, and she's proud of this fact. However, life as she knows it changes when she accidentally hits a man over the head at an animal rights march, and she's so flustered, that she runs off. It gets even better when the next morning she finds a injured puppy on her porch, takes him to the clinic, and that vet is the guy she hit over the head. Yeah, Rose isn't feeling great about life at the moment. But Liam the vet is, because he thinks that Rose is the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. And he wants to take her out desperately. So they start on a new journey which is hilarious, as she's a colorful person, while Liam is just happy to be around her, and her crazy. The downside is that she's planning to leave the US to go back to Australia, and this isn't something he wants, especially after they fall in love. This story was super sweet, and extremely hilarious at times, because Rose is very colorful. However, she drove me up a wall at her stubbornness with going home when she was in love with Liam, so I was ready to pull my hair out. No matter how the cast of secondaries tried to talk her out of it, human & furry, she was still set on her course. B. Cranford definitely penned a original story that I really enjoyed, especially with all the animal loves involved, and I'm excited to read more in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sometimes you get to be lucky enough to read a book that gives you all the feels. She Found Him was that book for me. It had everything I wanted it a story. It was adorably cute, but dealt with some real topics that I completely connected with. I loved everything about this story, and I can’t want to read more from this author.

She Found Him is about a Veterinarian named Liam and an Australian currently living in America named Rose. When they first meet at an “Adopt Don’t Shop” event, she accidently hits him with her sign-twice and then runs away! They meet again a week later when she comes to his office after finding a stray puppy on her porch. This is when the magic begins! Liam, Rose and the puppy Wilbur were all so perfectly written. I loved them all! Little Wilbur (nicknamed Wilby!) was just the cutest and it made me realize even more that I need to have a dog in my life right away.

I connected with Rose on such a personal level as well. She is dealing with homesickness and hasn’t seen her parents in two years since she left Australia. This was very real to me because my parents live in New York and I moved down to Texas. I understood how she felt about needing and missing them and wanting to go home.

Overall, this story was just absolutely perfect. I loved everything about it. I am so glad I was given an advanced copy to read! She Found Him is a quick read that is 100% worth it! Highly recommend!

B. Cranford gets best daughter of the year award for this book. Written as a birthday gift to her mother, She Found Him is a sweet, funny, and thoughtful clean romance that I cannot wait to reread.

With the best meet-cute I’ve read in years, Liam literally is hit upside the head by sweet Rose. He’s lovably hot and awkward (hello innuendo) to her principled goodness. Brought together at an animal rights march and again at his veterinarian clinic by the best dog in a book this year, they cannot fight their attraction. Even though Rose is at the tail end of her work visa and homesick for Australia, they choose to explore their connection. The town, supporting characters, and animals add so much to their story. There is no pushing of a storyline—it just unfurls naturally. Cranford is a master at creating real characters who you want to succeed, and I cheered Liam and Rose on through the entire book.

This is a fade-to-black romance, which doesn’t affect the story for me at all. Sometimes what you don’t see or read is as affecting as more graphic writing. Cranford does both really well, so don’t hesitate reading She Found Him since it’s a little different from her previous books.

Will Rose stay even though she’s terribly homesick? Will Liam follow? What will happen to Wilby, the best book dog ever? Read it and find out!

This is a swoony little story with an adorable “meet cute”. However, within this sweet little story we find a girl with everyday problems that are more common than we even dare to admit to ourselves sometimes. It was refreshing to see the author take a chance and write a story that many can identify with.
Rose is the most sweet Australian girl who came to the states to find herself. What she didn't expect was to find the most adorable roommate right when she was about to return back to her homeland, a puppy.
Cut to Liam. Handsome, responsible and in like with both Rose and the pup.
I don’t do spoilers so you’ll have to read this story to see how it all plays out.
This book delivers on so many levels. You will laugh, smile, swoon and sigh. It’s not an over the top book. It will make your heart expand and it’s educational. You may pick up a few Australian phrases along the way. So it’s truly a two for one deal...it’s entertainment and knowledge.
Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this fun, quirky, little, wholesome romance. It’s refreshing in ways many books aren’t. I loved it from the first page to the epilogue.

So I've read reviews before I started to read this book and everyone was raving about how much they loved Liam and you know when something that sounds too good to be true it usually is?? Well not here - he really was something special. I loved him. I loved the way he could calm Rosie down with just a hug. After finishing this I got to say it's a close call between Liam and Dunk for no.1 spot as my favorite B.Cranford man. I loved Rosie's personality. And don't even get me started about the cute dog because now I want a dog too 😍 The meet-cute was hilarious and I loved how their relationship developed and how it ended.

Simply put? Another hit (for me) from one of my favorite authors.

PS; I've got to be honest and say; I hate you Beth because I'll never be able to gift my mom something so special. But then again I gave her grandchildren so I guess that counts for something right?!?😂

There is so much I love about this book!!! First thing, this amazing author wrote this book for her mother for her birthday! That alone deserves some praise in my opinion. And this is an wonderfully written story!

So much sweetness - Rose’s love for her sweet stray Wilbur was exactly what you expect from a dog mom and Liam is the best vet in the world!

Butterflies for days - this book is a fade to black but don’t let that fool you into thinking there is no heat. I promise this book has some simmering heat between Liam and Rose. Not to mention the constant butterflies I had during all of their interactions.

A true love story- I loved that this book shows the give and take needed to make a relationship work.

This book was amazingly written and I highly recommend it to all of my reader friends.

She Found Him by B.Cranford was a sweet and light read, and an incredibly beautiful gift!

The novel was a beautifully written fairy tale where I was swooning and aww-ing throughout. I fell in love with Rose and Liam from the very first chapter, and as for Wilbur, he is soo cute I want to cuddle him and smother him with kisses! (fellow dog lover here!)

I am absolurley in love with this book. It was so thoughtful and sweet, and it had the B. Cranford sort of charm in the funny department. Rose and Liam were absolutely perfect together, and I loved how they gelled together, and I loved the family they built together with Wilbur.

She found him was the perfect pick-me-up. It was sweet; it was romantic, so romantic, and I loved the humour that blended in. It was just what I needed on a cold day with a terrible cold. Perfect!

My first read by B. Cranford and certainly not my last! It was a delightful, sweet read filled with humor, romance, angst as well as a support group of family and friends whose stories you hope to discover some day as well. It was through the love and the eyes of a dog that Rose and Liam run into each other not once but twice before discovering an attraction to each other. Rose is here in the US on a work visa for 2 years which is about to end soon. She will be returning to her home in Australia. Liam has his newly acquired veterinarian practice up and running. Neither feels that a romance/relationship is something that they should start now. Of course fate never listens and when that old zing hits you, you must heed its call. Two thumbs up - 4 1/2 glorious stars out of 5 & thank you for the lesson in Aussie speak!

If you are looking for a heartwarming and feel-good story then look no further. This book is so charming and delightful. From the meet-cute that packs a punch to adorable dogs to witty banter, you’ll be smiling the whole way through. As with all of this author’s books, the characters are real and likeable. You truly feel like they could be your friends or neighbors.

This book is a fade-to-black. You won’t get a bunch of steamy sex scenes. But with this book, you don’t need them! There is enough heat, chemistry, and swoony moments, that you won’t miss the detailed sex. You get just enough to let your imagination run wild!

This book is such a fun and easy read. You’ll be smitten from the start. Don’t be surprised if you are wishing for an adorable dog and a swoony veterinarian while reading it. This book is definitely a must read.
