With their latest album, Ember, Breaking Benjamin showcased their most aggressive side. That angst is about to be tempered as frontman Ben Burnley is currently prepping an acoustic album that will include stripped down versions of old songs as well as new ones.

"I’ve been working on an acoustic album while we’ve been touring, so it’s been busy," Burnley told Consequence of Sound in a recent interview. "The acoustic album will have Breaking Benjamin songs done acoustic, plus two or three new songs," he elaborated, adding, "We’re working on arrangements and strings on there, so it’s been a lot of fun, and we’re looking forward to it coming out."

The band continues to hit the road hard and they'll be out on a co-headlining a summer run in North America with Chevelle, bringing Three Days Grace with them. Additional support on select dates will come from Dorothy and Diamante. See the full list of stops at the bottom of the page.

Ember marked the second record from Breaking Benjamin following their 2014 reunion with a revamped lineup. "When we came back, it really was a sense that we had never left," said Burnley about the four-year hiatus. "I was really amazed by that, and I just went with it. They acted like we were there all along. Everybody in the band realizes what an incredible gift that is, and we realize that we’re lucky to have that."
