Tributes paid to Coatbridge man Mark Fallon after he was found dead at retail park

TRIBUTES have been paid to a man found dead at a Coatbridge retail park.

Mark Fallon, 36, was discovered with serious injuries near Tesco at the Faraday site on Sunday night.

Mercy crews scrambled to the scene after the alarm was raised around 7pm but tragic Mark, known as Faldo to his loved ones, couldn't be saved.

His heartbroken sister Hazel Collins has led tributes following his death.

Sharing a picture of him online, she said: "RIP big brother I will miss u so much.

"I can't believe it is u that is gone. I love u so much."

Mark's death is currently being treated as unexplained as detectives continue enquiries.

A police spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to Faraday Retail Park in Coatbridge around 7pm on Sunday, May 19, after reports of a 36-year-old man being found seriously injured.

"Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

"A post mortem will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death".
