Confessions #3

Confessions Of A Frat Girl

Rate this book
Confession One: Musical theatre and chess were my true loves.
I was a mixture of nerd and drama queen.
I liked to think of myself as raspberry ripple ice cream.
The perfect combination of sauce to creamy goodness.

Confession Two: I was an adaptable kind of girl.
Until it came to my dreams.
Four years of hard work and I finally got into the college I’d fantasized about since I was a little girl.
But sometimes things didn’t work out how you wanted them to.

One incident—and a Viking helmet—was all it took to have my aspirations snatched away at the end of my first year.
And now I was here.
In a state I hated.
A second college I didn’t want to go to.
But no other choices available.

Confession Three: Alcohol was the enemy.
All I wanted was to blow off some steam before I met my new fate.
To let loose, and have a little fun.
I was never meant to wake up in a hot guys bed and not remember how I got there.

Confession Four: He was my new roommate.
Running out of his house the morning after the night before was the last time I was meant to see him.
I could forget it ever happened and start my sophomore year unscathed.
Until I found out he was my new roommate...along with another thirty guys.
I was the new Frat Girl in town, and life was about to get a whole lot of messy.

I’m still laughing days later from the mental picture Summer took of Gabe. This book takes funny and adds romance.

Summer is a walking disaster. She isn’t a comedian, but you would struggle not to laugh if you met her. She says the wrong thing, she doesn’t go to the right parties and she doesn’t know the meaning of being cool.

Everything is about to change when she becomes the new Frat girl on campus. That’s right she’s moving in with the boys. The problem is she’s already slept with the prez.

A girl living in a boys house is a set up for disaster and there are plenty of those. Summer finds her place, friendship and love.

This book has some laugh out loud funny moments but no spoilers here. This is comedy at its best. This book is great. 👍

I loved this book!

The story was so cute, the relationship between Gabe and Summer made my heart melt! I couldn’t put it down and at the end I was disappointed it was over. I love the idea of Summer being a frat girl and having a special bond with her frat brothers. It made the book more meaningful. If you have a chance to read this book don’t hesitate!

The laughs

I swear Summer is my spirit guide. She's hilarious. Part drama queen. Secret nerd. And totally relatable. The confession series got me hooked on Abigail Davies and I really can't wait for more from her. This series has become hands down one of my favourite of the year!

How did I find myself laughing at and wanting to cry over a college-age romance? I loved Summer and Gabe’s story and managed to completely forget that I was essentially reading NA because of the humor and emotion injected into the story.

Summer had a bit of a mishap at her first college, so her dad took advantage of a loophole at his alma mater’s fraternity so she could start over somewhere else. It’s just too bad that it means that Summer is now a frat girl. Even worse? Her fraternity president is the one guy she can’t get out of her mind (or remember the important bits about), and he’s just added a “no fraternization” rule to the frat’s charter.

Add in some great new friends, hilarious frat brothers, one truly nasty sorority girl, and you’ve got one heck of a story to read. Summer and Gabe have their share of push-and-pull, some angst, and the funny parts I’ve come to expect from this author, which made this book impossible to put down.

This was the most fun entertaining story to read! It had some rather witty strange banter but also a real sense of family!!
I just loved how Summer was, she was a strong character that could really be a force to be reckoned with! Her parents were a bit weird but funny as hell!
What happens when she joins a frat??!! Omg were things definitely interesting, fun, heated and also the fact that some great friendships formed!
I also thought this book was a little out there but also so up my alley as a rom com!
Im a little disappointed of how it ended so abruptly, as I wanted so much more. I certainly hope there will be another book in this series!

I absolutely love this series of book's. Abigail Davies is an absolute genius.

The way that she has written the characters, even though I'm a 43 year old woman, I could relate to. As we were all young once 😜. I especially liked the fact that Summer is a nerd and not some super hot, popular girl. Although she is hot and normal, she eats pizza and snacks like any other girl does, apart from the stick thin barbie types, but that's way the hot frat boy Gabe can't get enough of her.

There are plenty of very steamy, hot sex scenes that will leave you weak at the knees. The emotions throughout will have your heart going soaring one moment and going through a mangler the next. There is also comedy throughout, especially with Summer's parent's, and drama student friends 😆

I can't recommend this series of book's enough, you just can't go wrong. Romance, comedy and HOT 🔥🔥sex what's not to love 😍💗💖

She’s the newest member at the fraternity and she's about to stir things up!!

Summer’s new in town and needs a place to stay. She just transferred in as a sophomore. Her dad was a member of the frat and since she’s his legacy, she’s a member now too. Summer’s the first frat girl on campus!

The first frat guy she meets, Gabe, isn’t a stranger...well she doesnt know his name, but she knows him in the "where are my clothes?" sense. That night that's mostly a blur begins to come back to her.

A sweet story between the nerdy, theater loving, chess player and the cliche, hot, frat guy president. However, things aren’t always what they seem.

She thought she moved into Animal House, only to find a bunch of guy friends that were more like family. This story is filled with great secondary characters that I hope to meet again in the future, especially Zeke. Her parents definitely added comic relief and a whole lot of love.

I have enjoyed every story in this series and continually look forward to more!

Abigail Davis has once again given us another great read from her Confessions Series this time with a girl living in a Frat House !!!!
Summer finds herself not only at a new college after an unfortunate incident but also rooming at a frat house, the only girl surrounded by guys might not her only problem because once she arrives at the house she realises the the hot guy sleeping in the room opposite hers is a guy she had a one night stand with.... both Summer and Gabe try to be just friends but feelings just keep getting in the way.
This is a very funny college romance, the witty banter is perfect and I found myself giggling and smiling as I really got into Gabe and Summer’s story. The nerdy girl and the swoon worthy guy never gets old it’s escapeism and that’s what I love in a great book, looking forward to more in the Confessions series and more from this very talented author. It you want a book that will leave you smiling like a Cheshire Cat look no further than Confessions Of A Frat Girl

I devoured this funny, adorable read in a night. I have LOVED all the books in the Confessions Series and this one is a beautiful addition. OMG I couldn’t stop laughing.

I am madly in love with Summer. She is a regular girl that is rocking her Nerd flag. I couldn’t stop giggling at all her craziness. She is queen of the quirky. Her parents are hilarious and it is true what they say that the apple doesn’t fall from the tree (hee hee).

Gabe has some major hotness going on (sigh). Though what I admire most about him is that even as president of a frat he isn’t a jerk. He has his own level of funny too especially when you add all the other guys from the frat to the mix. I am shaking my head and laughing just thinking about it. SO FUNNY!

Ummm did I mention Summer and Gabe are deliciously spicy together. Yikes I am fanning myself just thinking about it and no it isn’t a hot flash (haha).

Whispers “hope we get more stories from the other frat guys and Summer’s friends” (wink wink). If you are looking for a sexy, funny, college romance, you won’t be disappointed with this one. Happy Reading!

Summers story starts off funny and continues all the way through, this series is one of my all
Time favourite romcoms. It is my go to mood booster and Abigail Davies has yet again out done herself.
Summers one lines and constant one liners had me laughing out loud. This story also I think has a serious message like the other confessions books. For me this book taught you that the best is normally the worst and simple and unassuming can turn out to be outstanding. Also it showed that you really can’t judge a book by its cover. This showed that frat doesn’t always mean your a drunken bafoon.

Now stop reading my review and go buy confessions of a Frat girl x

Omg I was so happy when I found out that I had received an arc for honest review. I love this whole series and this book was no exception Abigail always knows how to write the best storie. I loved the chemistry between Summer and Gabe from the first moment I saw them. Although I cried and laughed so hard at times Gabe really made me swoon. I'm also hoping that maybe Abigail will give Zeke and Ying there own story maybe together fingers crossed.

Where has Abigail Davies been hiding all my life? I am completely stunned and overcome with happiness after reading this book. I laughed so hard that I actually started choking which is surprising for me. This was a perfect quick read that was like a breath of fresh air.

Summer has just been kicked out of her old college after an unfortunate incident that she wishes to forget. She has to start sophomore year in a new state at a new college. She knows no one and the worst part is that she will be living in a Frat House. It is way out of her comfort zone. Add the fact that she had a one night stand with a hot drool worthy guy and later finds out that she will be sleeping across the hall from him. (Queue the teenage giggling). She just has to act like nothing happend and keep things stricken platonic.... if only her eyes would stop straying to his lickable abs.

Summer was quirky and nerdy. I loved her. She didn’t change her personality just because she was living in a Frat House. Her personality shone through the pages. I would have liked the book to be more longer and some things to be decribed and explained more though. I was also hoping for an epilogue to get more of an HEA vibe but this book was just what I needed to decompress.

Another amazing addition to the confessions series! I love these characters so much.
Summer is a typical normal girl that loves chess and musicals and you could relate to her love of snacks and pizza on another level! Add in a house full of sexy, funny frat guys, parties, a sexy forbidden love interest, and you have yourself the perfect romcom! I loved this book so much, I'm dying for each of the frat guys to get a story ;)

I will admit I didn't think this book would be as fun as it was when I picked it up. But almost from the beginning it just sucked me in and I was hooked!

This book has a twist I haven't read about before and I love it I love that she is in a frat house surrounded by guys and she just fit in.

Summer is the most awkward girl in the best possible way and I love it! She has the most hilarious parents, that I kinda wish was an even bigger part of this book because I was always laughing when they popped up. And to have that awesome parent's end up meaning that Summer is funny and such an open girl even if she is also a geek that often end up in awkward situations. You kinda have to be some form of awesome and have some backbone and humor to scam your way into a frat house as the only girl. Especially when you have had a one night stand with the president the night before and just left his bed a couple of hours before... Ups

Gabe is a normal college guy, he is the player, the popular one with the perfect abs and always know what to say. He was sweet and was perfect with summer but I didn't end up falling in love with him at the beginning of the book as I normally do. It feels like this is Summers book, she is the wow factor and even though Gabe is a really good person he just didn't have a personality that I was like wow I will remember him. I will say in the middle/end of the book I think he is a jerk and I got so angry at him! Even after Summer forgive him and I can see it was not his fault I will say he is so bad at explaining himself he just made it worse for himself in my book. So I am still a little annoyed at him after the book ended but I get it all I think he just said the wrong things when he was explaining himself.

But are you looking for your next college book filled with humor, fun, and some good old college romance this is your book.

In true Abigail Davies fashion, Confessions Of A Frat Girl was original, and kept me laughing throughout. It's the story of Summer, a girl who can't seem to go through life without mishaps following, which has led her from her dream college to a second college where she ended up living in a frat house as the only girl. If that wasn't complicated enough, it seems that she had already hooked up with the President, Gabriel, after drinking too much alcohol the night before, so yeah, life isn't looking so bright right now, especially since chess & musical theatre are her passions, not partying hard with a bunch of hot guys. And definitely not hooking up with Gabe again. Like I said above, this story had me laughing hard throughout, as a girl in a frat house definitely comes with a lot of issues for real, but I loved the fact that the guys really kind of took to her as well. And since so many of them made up the cast of secondaries, they almost stole the show, along with Summer's parents. Plus, Summer & Gabe had chemistry in spades, so when it ignited again, they lit the sheets on fire. However, Gabe ended up really pissing me off royally with some of the stupidity that came out of his mouth, so I'm not sure that he's not a huge douche, and I truly wished that Summer had really punished him more. I'm sure everyone doesn't feel like me, but I make no apologies for my opinion. Anyway, despite that, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This was another great book in the series. It was almost 5 stars for me but there were a couple of things that just held it back.

This story is about Summer and at the start of the book you know something happened for Summer to be in the situation she finds herself in, that is starting in a new school but it takes a while for the whole story to come out and when it does I was a tiny but underwhelmed which is one reason this isn't 5 stars.
That being said this book has lots of laughs but surprisingly it also has a lot of deeper moments that makes this well worth the read.
This book also has Gabe and he is so swooning worthy. This guy is super sweet with a few vulnerabilities that made him that much hotter in my eyes. He's not perfect but he is perfect for Summer.
Summer is they type of girl who I can relate to. She would rather be comfy than cool and I can fully respect that.
This story is set in college and it has been a lot of years since I was in college but I still found this a very fun and enjoyable read.
I am loving the Confession series and look forward to future works.

If you haven’t jumped on Abigail Davies Confessions’ train, them please climb aboard! Davies is handing out a whole lot of laughs, tons of chemistry and such good romance in her Confession’s series. Wanna know the best thing? You can read each one of these confessions as a standalone!

In Confessions of a Frat Girl, Davies delivers a classic nerd girl paired with a frat boy. Opposites attract, it’s a sexy forbidden kind of romance, but Davies makes it work in rom com perfection. Summer and Gabe are the oddest pair, however they share the perfect push, pull angst driven romance that will make it impossible for you to put down their story.

If you are a new reader to Davis, one thing you’ll quickly find about her books are her irresistible characters! In CoaFG, this author gives you the most hilarious ones yet. Here’s to hoping she brings these wonderful side characters to life in later novels!

As always, Davies nailed it with her rom com! Confessions of a Frat Girl is just another excellent addition to an already 5 star series and I can’t wait for other readers to fall in love too!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC !
I have really enjoyed reading this series by Abigail Davies and Frat Girl is no exception,I Loved this story. It is light hearted , with minimum angst and has the feel good factor.
Just Imagine bagging a hot guy only to not remember a single thing about the encounter, this was Summers predicament.Which only got worse and more complicated when she ends up living with hot guy and 30 other guys.
I adored Summer and Gabe,I loved the chemistry between them and playfulness with one another.Abigails characters are always so quirky and imperfectly perfect that you can't help yourself but to endear towards them, even the side characters I loved them all, well except for Jesse and sorority girl.
This is an hilarious Romcom filled with funny shenanigans and banter,I really loved reading Summer and Gabes Romance from beginning to end I could not get enough. It will captivate your heart and make you smile from ear to ear.
A truly delightful, spectacular book which I highly recommend.

I found Confessions Of A Frat Girl to be a delightful read, desperately needed after several dark books in a row. There were several moments that had me laughing and thankful I wasn't Summer. I would have turned bright red and not shown my face for several days. I love the dynamic with her parents, and their off the wall humor. I could see a little of myself in them.

Summer is a cool nerd I could see myself being her friend and hanging out. Gabe is the all around great guy everyone wants to find in life.

This book has the perfect combination of comedy, romance with sexual tension and just a dash of angst/drama. I am hoping Davies continues the series with stories from some of the secondary characters, I need Laten and Ying's stories. I would also love to see Summer develop a deeper friendship with Zeke and Logan. I'm sad there were not more moments between the frat guys and Summer, building friendships and getting to know each other better.

So far this is my favorite of the series!!

Book 3 in the confessions series is here! I love this series. To enjoy this series at its fullest I would always say read all the books… because why wouldn’t you?
However each can be read and enjoyed as a standalone in its own right.

The focus on this book is Summer… a self confessed chess and drama nerd. Finding herself booted from college and enrolling into a new one at the start of the sophomore year was not the plan… neither was waking up naked in a strangers bed!

I loved that this book ( and series ) continues to be so minimal drama… the focus is on Summer… her transition to a new school..new friends..new relationships..and being the only girl living in a fraternity house. The fact that she’s in love with the frat president and he is such a considerate ( sexy ) sweetheart is the icing on the cake!

If your a fan of light, fun and bubbly romantic comedies then this is the book for you! I’d love to see a return of Ying in the future… that’s a girl that needs a book of her own!! 🙌🏻💯♥️

Summer is quirky, nerdy and oh so much fun. After an evening that she would like to forget Summer finds herself in a new college looking for a new start. She finds herself the sole female member of the fraternity that her father was part of but the biggest surprise is when she seems the guy that is living across the hall.

Gabe is the sexy yet sweet President of the fraternity and was the man she woke up to after the “incident” that has her looking for a fresh start. She has no memory of what happened that night but the one thing she does remember is racing out the morning after before he woke up. Living with him and thirty other guys shouldn’t be awkward at all, right?

This is a fun and flirty story that will have you laughing out. Summer and Gabe couldn’t be more different or more perfect for each other. With all the great secondary characters I hope we get to visit the frat again in the future.

I was so happy to receive the next instament of the Confession series. I needed a laugh out loud, good feels book and that's what Abigail wrote.
From the first page I fell in love with Summer, theatre and chess loving nerd!
Summer had to move colleges due to an unfortunate mishap involving the Dean and a near death experience. She finds herself moving to a college that her author Dad attended and has gained a place in his fraternity. Yes, in a Frat House full of 30 other men. Summer has a faint recollection of meeting Gabe the President of the Frat House, but it is a hazy drunken memory. The chemistry between the two of them is perfect. Mix in Frat parties, pizza, snacks and chess competitions and you have yourself the perfect story. Not to mention the the Pink razor incident!!!
Thank you Abigail I loved it, can we have more Confessions?

Abigail pulled me right in with these amazing characters. Gabe, swoon, why oh why can't you be a real guy? How is he so amazing and perfect?? Actually all the frat brothers are fantastic. Where was this frat when I was in college??

I loved Summer's personality. Not many girls could handle living in a frat house but she fits right in. Laten and Ying are, what I would consider, fun quirky drama kids. I knew kids just like them in high school. See? These characters are so real!

This book is light and funny, but Abigail manages to make you feel some real emotions! Definitely worth reading and a great addition to the series.

I loved this book and I am hopeful we will see more from the Confession series

A perfect romcom in a book.

Summer is having to start over, at a new college and with the help of her dad she has her living arrangements sorted - in a Frat house with the guy she woke up next to.

Gabe is the popular college type, the Fraternity President, the swoon worthy guy that has a soft spot for the newest Frat member.

Confessions of a Frat Girl has the right mix of comedy and romance, it had me laughing one minute and feeling all types of fluffy emotions the next. Summer and Gabe have a connection, that grows throughout the story, with some steamy scenes thrown in.

Who can resist these amazing, cheerful covers? I couldn't! And I enjoyed every moment of this book - and hope there will be more from these characters as I absolutely fell in love with all of them....well..almost all of them LOL! This was such a fun, light-hearted read that filled my soul with joy! The characters were quirky, the humour was light and witty. The situations were amusing and made me chuckle. Definitely made my day!

ALWAYS a great read by Abigail Davies! The girl can definitely write a LOL story that has so much romance and sexiness flowing off the pages. If you love RomComs, snatch this book up quick. There are so many quotes that I’m still laughing about, especially the Pink Ball Razor. I was laughing throughout the entire book. Anytime I see a book by Abigail, I’ve got to read it. So, run ... grab this book and get ready for a great story with a lot of laughs!!

I loved this book! I laughed so much. Sunshine (Summer) is a great character who pushes past and/or embraces awkward situations and is quick with a snarky comeback. I really hope that the rest of the characters from the frat house and theater department get their stories told. You can’t help but laugh and then get angry then swoon and laugh some more. I received this as an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.

Confessions of a Frat Girl was hysterical! Can you imagine getting kicked out of your dream college? Only to have your dad get you into his fraternity at his alma mater? That is just what happened to Summer! After having a one night stand with the fraternity's president, what could possibly go wrong?! This book will have you literally laughing out loud! I love this series! I read it in one sitting.

This one is by far my most favorite on the series. It can be read as a stand-alone since none of the characters from the first two books are in this one.
I loooveee loveee Gabee oh my god. But my most favorite is Summer’s parents they are hilariouss!!
I hope I can see more the other frat guys, I’m hoping for Zeke or Vin story next!
