Two teens, 18, found dead in Ayrshire just three hours apart as heartbroken loved ones pay tribute

TWO teenagers have been found dead in Ayrshire within three hours of each other.

Cops were alerted to the body of 18-year-old Codey Brown being found in Kilmarnock's Dean Park at around 4.30pm on Sunday.

Tributes have flooded in for the talented dancer, as pals call her a "one in a million" girl.

Tragic Codey only celebrated her 18th birthday the previous day.

Less than three hours later a teen dad was found dead nearby in Ayr.

The body of Callum Dawson, also 18, was found in a property on Whittle Road at 7.25pm.

One friend hailed the tragic teen one of the "nicest boys around" after news of his death broke.

Neither death is being treated as suspicious, and they are not believed to be linked.

A police spokeswoman said: "At around 4.40pm yesterday an 18-year-old girl was found dead near to a park on Dean Street, Kilmarnock.

"A post mortem will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, however police are not treating the death as suspicious.

"A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."

She added: "Police were later called to Whittle Road at 7.25pm on Sunday March 17 to reports of an 18-year-old man being found dead at the scene.

"It is not being treated as suspicious.

"A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
