Heatwave Sports
Heatwave is the longest running community event in support of SickKids, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. And it has raised an incredible $4.4 million in support of paediatric cancer research at SickKids to date.
2019 marks a special year for the event through the launch of the first ever, Heatwave Youth Tournament in July along with an attempt at breaking another world record! Heatwave is the current Guinness World Record Holder for the world’s largest beach volleyball tournament, and this year, they will attempt to break the record for the “Most people controlling volleyballs” on Sunday July 14, 2019.
