Inter have offered full-back Dalbert and Primavera forward Davide Merola to Roma as the clubs continue negotiations over Edin Dzeko, according to Tuttosport.

The parties made contact at the Lega Serie A’s headquarters in Milan yesterday after talks had appeared to stall over the weekend.

Roma want Ionut Radu or Andrea Pinamonti as part of the deal which is expected to take Dzeko to the Nerazzurri, but Inter aren’t willing to lose either player.

Antonio Conte would gladly welcome Aleksandar Kolarov or Alessandro Florenzi along with the 33-year-old striker, but the paper offered no indication as to whether that was likely.

Dzeko is widely reported to have agreed personal terms with Inter on the basis of a three-year deal, but the Bosnian cannot complete his move until the clubs reach an agreement.

Inter and Roma both need to record a series of capital gains before 30 June in order to balance their books and this is holding up the move.
