OMG! This movie is awesome. Just as good as the series and very well written/acted.  I enjoyed every minute of it. This is one of those memorable stories that lives forever and will be a great classic. There aren't many decent shows on TV or in the movies worth watching anymore (especially american) . It's so refreshing to sit down and watch something with some substance to it.  Buy it . You will not be disappointed.

What can you not say about this movie.  The cantering that goes on, the love illuminates amongst the characters and the era is welcoming to all whom enjoys a "classic"!

The movie was an incredible way for us fans to have just a little more DA wrap up. As always, we still want a little more, but with the DVD it will provide the best alternative to continue watching. The add movie is also a gift and hoping it will be viewed as much as the movie was loved.

This was truly an amazing movie. I highly recommend watching all of the seasons 1st before seeing the movie.

My favorite movie

I bought the movie as a Christmas gift so haven't opened the package & viewed myself. I know the movie will be Great--I saw it in the movie theater when it came out. The reason I'm giving it a Bad rating is the price and outrageous Shipping & Handling charge. After ordering and being shocked at the $8.95 S&H charge, I discovered I could have gotten the movie for a lot less elsewhere!!! I am extremely disappointed that PBS would rip off their members this way. I understand that part of the money received from the purchase will go back to PBS for them to use to create wonderful programming, but I truly feel screwed by the outrageous price. The movie is as light as a feather. It did NOT cost $8.95 to ship and handle. I will probably never buy a movie from PBS again.

Outrageous Price and Shipping & Handling Charges

Disappointing. Apart from the one movie "Pal Joey" the rest were so antiquated and dull I only watched two and turned the rest off. Rita Hayworth made some good movies IE Gilda - Separate Tables - By that time she'd learned the art of acting! . The only reason I'm giving a two rating is that the aforementioned movie had Frank Sinatra singing in it and that was worth the price!

Several of the scenes go darker and then a couple times they fade out completely.  I will be returning the DVD. Sad, since this was a gift for my wife who loves the movie (when it does not have visual distractions).
