If you like a fast paced, intense, romantic suspense with a fair amount of action and scorching chemistry, then you will love this book. Both Remi and Leah were introduced in Assassin’s Mark and this is their story. These two are quite the unlikely pair. An assassin and a nurse. One takes lives while the other saves lives. Remi is a killer who deems himself as not good enough for Leah and is also a bit of a stalker. Okay, he is a full on stalker - loving and watching Leah at a distance because he refuses to bring her and her daughter into his dark life. He is the ultimate alpha male - commanding, obsessive, protective, and of course sexy. I couldn’t help but love him. Leah is a single mom and a nurse and you can see just how caring and protective she is of her daughter. Her life is completely wrecked when her daughter is kidnapped and she must rely on Remi and his brothers to help her. She is a strong heroine and like Remi, her past is traumatic and I found my heart breaking for her many times over. This book is told from a dual POV which I really liked - I always love getting a peak into the mind of a dark hero, but I also enjoyed getting to witness Leah’s mindset. It was also good to see Levi and Abby again! The book has a lot of suspense, some kindle-melting scenes, and also a bit of sweetness. It is the 3rd book in this author’s Assassin series and if you liked the previous books, then you will enjoy Assassin’s Heart. I’ve read a complimentary version of this book.

Heartstopping action drives this beautiful romance! Remi's had his eye on Leah ever since she was "compelled" to help save his life 18 months ago. And it's a good thing he's so vigilant, because he's right there when Leah suddenly needs a white knight who's not afraid to get his hands dirty. Leah's past has caught up with her after seven years on the run. The Agozi brothers might be the last people Leah wants to rely on, but there's no doubt they are her only choice to get the job done. Told in alternating POV, this story is filled with fiery chemistry, tragic connections, beautiful family moments, and a whole lot of bad guys meeting the Assassin. Leah is strong and resilient, Abby is supportive and sympathetic, and Remi shows that he's every bit as in charge as his older brother. He's dark and stormy, sweet and sensitive, tough and determined, and soft and tender; truly a Man Who Gets Things Done. He's everything Leah needs, and she fills in all the holes in his heart. As much as I loved Levi in the earlier books, I absolutely swooned for Remi. I couldn't have loved this story more. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is the fourth book in the Assassin Series, an amazing Romantic Suspense. This story is as great as the first books in the Series. I love the brotherhood between the three brothers, Levi, Remi, and Eli. Remi and Leah's story is suspenseful and action packed! They are both great and strong characters, and they share a strong chemistry. Brooke, Leah's daughter, is so cute, and brave! The storyline is suspenseful, and action packed. The ending is perfect. I highly recommend this book, and the entire Series. This is one of my favorite Romantic Suspense Series. Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter did an outstanding job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the series, Assassin's Game, Eli's story. I am also looking forward to read King and Charlotte's story, in Deny Me, a novel in the Southern Nights Series
