Hi,

I want to try to build my first mod, have seen one I really like but have no clue where to start what parts I would need and if it’s a good idea for someone who is a newbie to modding.

I am looking at getting the Asvape Michael Devils Night but not sure if that’s any good or even a good idea for a beginner to start with something like that.

Any tips or advice if that’s a good choice or a good piece of kit and what I would also need to get it too work would be welcome.

Thanks again in advance.

The Asvape is a prebuilt mod. Not sure what you mean by building your first mod.

When I started vaping years ago and saw people talking about "mods" I understood it as modifications and assumed that people were building all these mods.

@SonyaCage there is no building required, you will just need a tank to screw into the top, some external 18650 batteries and a charger.

Yeah I am brand new to all this so my terminology maybe really terrible.

I kind of mean what else do I need for it and is it easy to use

Awesome thanks do you know if all would fit with that model or do I need specific ones?

You will get the hang of it.

All vapes consist of a mod (which is where your batteries go and has the firing button) and an atomizer which is where the coils and juice goes.

The mod you are looking at requires 2 batteries (18650 is the size you need) and most people would charge them in an external charger.

You will need to screw a tank onto the mod, to hold your juice and coils, unless you have seen a kit online which includes the tank.

To be honest for starting off you may be able to find something that works out of the box, like a mod with internal batteries paired with a decent tank.

As an example this Voopoo Drag Baby Kit will set you back around £30 and is a complete kit, with internal battery:
