LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Sunshine State Conference is represented in the Week #6 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) by Florida Tech. The poll, released on March 27th, has Rollins College receiving votes.
Florida Tech [26-7, 10-5] climbs two positions to No. 10 in the NFCA poll following a series sweep over Barry University. The Panthers outscored the Buccaneers 29-7 in the three-game series and have now won seven the last eight games. Next, Florida Tech will play at Flagler College on March 27th before hosting a three-game set against Palm Beach Atlantic March 29th and 30th.
Rollins [27-5, 11-4], who is receiving votes for the first time this season has won ten of its last eleven games and sit atop the SSC standings. The Tars travel for a three-game series in St. Petersburg to play Eckerd College on March 29th and 30th.
