❌You’d think, being an owner of a “gentlemen’s and/or swingers club”, he’d practice safe sex and not IN THE FINAL INSTALMENT of the Hxh’s trilogy.
An ow whom he’s known and cared about for years.

To whom he’s still intensely attracted to/aroused by, even while he's with the h now
In fact, I don't know why he would want to settle down with the h since he has his own little combo of Leila and Elena of 50 Shades going on…
The mother of his brand new (unexpected) baby plus his ex-wife whom he still cries over.
He’s life fell apart when she left and he hasn’t recovered since.
He admits he still has unresolved issues where she's concerned.

I was eager to read the follow on from His Confession (if you've not read it...then get it quick) and once again the author weaves a gripping storyline. Plenty of action to keep readers riveted with the return of nasty ex-wife Ava. Gabi's insecurities push her out of her comfort zone as she considers the playrooms and coming to terms with swinging. Darion and Gabi are back with a bang! Can't wait for the last installment.

After the cliffhanger at the end of His Confession I was excited to get started on this second book in the series. This book shows more of a development into Gabi and Darion's relationship of them dealing with others in the background that are trying to come between them and of Gabi trying to tell Darion that she loves him but that can't deal with the kind of lifestyle that he leads. They both have many hang ups and insecurities to deal with and Lawrence and Eva, Darion and Gabi's ex's both use those against them pulling them in an unsure direction.
This part of the story is very angsty and full of hot sexy scenes showing a small insight into the swinger life that Darion once lived before he met Gabi and how he deals with the running of the Gentleman's Club while his Ex wife Eva runs the Black Door swingers club upstairs.
The story is really well written and so easy to get engrossed in. At the end of this book things seemed to have come to an uneasy conclusion so I was left totally wondering where the story would go as there is a third book in this series. Im totally hooked and cant wait to dive into the third and concluding book.

Darion's ex wife Eva has shown back at the Black door and wants to help run the club, Gabi is very insecure and that is gonna make everything worse. Gabi is trying really hard to be the girlfriend Darion wants but swapping partners is really hard for her. The deeper the realtor ship becomes the harder it is for Gabi to put Darion off. Besides the stress of that Gabi feels like someone is following her and to top it off Darion ex Eva told her that she is what he wants and that he will get bored with her soon enough. Darion is a little insecure himself because he just wants someone to love him but the way he was brought up was anything but loving.
If you have never read His confession you can get the jest of the story but to feel a connection to the characters I suggest you read it. This is the second book and it is a doozy that stays with you long after you read it just wondering what will happen so I can't wait to read the third one, I can't imagine where it will go.

OMG! Sophia has done it again. She wrote a book that will have you antsy for sure.
In book one of His Confession we was left with a huge cliff hanger Darion ex wife Eva came back.
In Her Confession Darion and Gabi is working on their relationship while dealing with past heartache, and betrayal. Gabi is holding on to her emotions about the ex Eva and all the girls at the club The Black Door. Darion is trying hard to be with Gabi without thinking the worse; that she is going to cheat on him and break his heart. This book is so freaking good that I can't wait to read Their Confessions. This book leaves you with another cliff hanger but it is so worth the read.

Her Confession is book 2 in S Valentine’s The Black Door Trilogy and continues the story of Gabi and Darion from His Confession, book 1.
Having read and loved His Confession, I couldn't wait to read Her Confession to see if Gabi and Darion would be able to survive the cliffhanger ending of book 1. Their relationship is still new and Gabi isn't sure if she wants to be part of the world Darion has introduced her to. Darion also has issues due to his past that prevents him from fully moving on with his life and being able to give himself completely to someone else. On the surface Darion is everything Gabi felt was missing from her previous relationship but deep-down she's unsure if she'll ever be enough for Darion who holds himself back and keeps pushing her to try more of his world.

What another amazing book by S Valentine who writes like she's an author who has done this for years. Again, I was hooked right from the start and couldn't put it down. S Valentine has created a love story that has you believing in love and finding the right person for you. I can't rave about this series enough!
I was desperate to see if Gabi and Darion would fight everything that came their way or if something would finally break them. Darion always kept a part of himself from Gabi who tried to give him everything, even if it went against what she believed and pushed her past her limits. Then she has to deal with their exes who are willing to fight for what they want, including fighting dirty and using situations to their advantage.
Two very different people are capable of being together and allowing each other to grow whilst discovering things together. However, it takes one very unexpected plot twist for Darion to fully open his eyes and realise that maybe just Gabi on her own is all he needs to be happy and feel loved. To give him what he's never found before. It takes a defining moment for them to fully open up to each other and be completely honest. Then just as you think they're nearly there to their HEA, S Valentine hits you with another cliffhanger and has you desperate to start Their Confession, book 3.
I so wish I had discovered this trilogy sooner and I urge you to purchase all three books today because you won't be disappointed.

*****I am going to write to two parts to this review. This part is spoiler free. The second part will have a spoilers.*****
I have love/hate feelings for this book. The story has a lot of feels and they are all angsty feelings. I felt along with the characters; confusion, hurt, frustration, and pissed off. I was yelling at my kindle many times and cussing the author throughout this book. There were moment I want to just put the book down and never pick it back up BUT since I finished the first book and was halfway through the second book I couldn't do that. I am not a quitter....lol...There were moments where I hated Darion and moments I hated Gabi and every other character. With ALL of that being said I LOVED IT! I am glad I continued to read through the frustrating parts because it lead to the good parts. It does end in a cliffy and I HATE but since book 3 is out I am okay with it. I can't believe I am saying this but I think might have been too many sex scenes. I felt like I was reading a sex scene every chapter and after awhile I really wanted to see the story progress and I felt it was being help back by a sex scene every chapter.

I will not give to much away. I don't know that anyone will see it as a spoiler to the story but I know there are people want to go in with a clear opinion and know nothing. With that being said there is cheating! Well I guess is depends on ones opinion of cheating but in the book the characters believe it is cheating. I can't say that it wasn't cheating but I didn't feel that it was a BIG deal because it wasn't sex. I think some people felt Gabi cheat in the first book but I didn't think it was cheating because Gabi and said she wanted out and didn't want to be in a relationship with Lawrence anymore and he didn't want to except that. But with that being said I wanted to put it out there for people who can't read about cheating.

Just when you thought The Black Door trilogy couldn't get any more provocative S. Valentine gives you Her Confession. Gabi and Darion's chemistry is off the charts hot and sizzles through your kindle. The plot completely draws you in and you can't quit reading. Its a emotional roller coaster of deceit, vulnerability, and passion. Its the ultimate battle to happiness. Both Gabi and Darion's characters developed and grew so much during Her Confession. The author truly blows me away with her writing.

If any characters deserve a happily ever after it's them! To say I'm keen on finding out where Gabi and Darion are headed in Their Confession is a understatement.

Wow!! Book two in this trilogy was every bit as good as book one! This is a trilogy and the books must be read in order to get the complete story. Also, as this is only book two there will be a cliffhanger. I love Gabi and Darion! Man, the intensity and heat between these two is epic!! The story is filled with powerful emotions, drama, suspense, scorching scenes and nail biting tension. This trilogy captures your interest with hot passion but keeps it by asking difficult questions of its characters. I can't wait to see how everything is wrapped up in book three. This is my frank, impartial review.

This is a MUST READ book for anyone that enjoys a very naughty, kinky bad boy. He’ll take her anywhere or anytime he pleases, which amounts to a lot of pleasing scenes throughout the book. The desperation between Gabi and Darion make the scenes luring and provocative.
The self realization and transformation that goes on for both Gabi and Darion make this book complete. Sure, the steamy scenes are awesome, but the overall story is what made me keep turning the pages.
There is a lot of alcohol drinking in this story, which I found to be a bit concerning. Also, Darion’s penchant for smoking I found to be unsavory. Neither of these issues was distasteful enough to keep me from awarding this book 5 stars, because I would most certainly read this book again and gift it to a friend.
I didn’t realize that this book was a part of a trilogy when I read it. I should have looked more closely at the cover – my bad. So my when I reached the end of the book my reaction was – You’ve got to be f*ing kidding me! It ends with a serious cliffhanger. After my frustration waned, I realized that it was a good thing, because it meant there will be another in the serious to read. Somehow, I’ll have to conjure the patience to wait for the next in the series.

This book starts off where book 1 left off. Darion and Gabi are trying to strengthen their relationship. Gabi had learned Darion has some sexual interest out of the "norm" according to her. She is willing to learn about them. Darion has to deal with Gabi's jealousy issues and figure out how to fix them. Enter Darion's ex wife and the confusion and craziness erupts again. Lots of drama and twists and turns I wasn't expecting. I cant wait to read the 3rd book in this series to have answers to many questions I have.

Woah. Another tumultuous ride. This time Gabi has new challenges to face when darion's past tries to come back in his life. Also from her own life, her past wants back and if that wasn't enough, she is not sure if she can forego her identity only to meet all of darion's needs. Once again another filthy ride filled with ups.and downs for both Gabi and darion. Can't wait to see how they can ever have their hea.

Wow ! The story winds around and takes you on a journey that plays with your emotions . Highs lows and places in between . Gabi and Darion show that life is not easy and all rainbows and unicorns . The feeling this book invoke draw you into the story .

After reading His Confession I was so glad that I had Her Confession to continue with.
Gabi & Darion's relationship is still new & Gabi is still having some issues accepting a part of Darion's lifestyle that she had never before experienced. Darion is still struggling to fully let Gabi in thanks to his past and his ex.
These two work well together as neither one is perfect. They both have flaws and are both dealing with issues and experiencing insecurities over different things within their own and each others lives. That aside they have a chemistry that is off the charts!
The characters have continued to develop and grow. The introduction of Darion's ex adds another level to the relationship dynamic and causes both Darion and Gabi to think and react differently.
I think that Gabi's reaction to Eva is fairly true to how a lot of females would react to their boyfriend's ex-wife turning up out of the blue. I think some of her insecurities are a little rash and unfounded but I understand that her past experiences or lack of have coloured her thoughts and feelings.
Due to the dual POV's we get to see how Darion feels about the appearance of his ex-wife and how he feels towards Gabi. I just wish the two of them could open up and explain how they truly feel, but this is easier said than done.
Her Confession is more angsty that His Confession, but has so much emotion contained within its pages. The more of the book I read the more hooked I became, it was as if I was right there alongside both Darion and Gabi, feeling everything with them. It wasn't all happy either, there were times when I wanted to slap the pair of them or bang their heads together!
S Valentine's writing is incredibly easy to fall into and follow, it grabs a hold of your attention and pulls you further and further into the story, holding you engrossed until the end and then leaves you needing to know more. The way the characters are described and portrayed makes them come to life before your very eyes, you can't help but become invested in each of them, rooting for them or wishing they'd crawl back under the rock they crawled out from!
I felt like this was a great way to continue this trilogy. I'm only gutted that I don't yet have a copy of Their Confession to continue with straight away.

What can I say about this second installment of the black door trilogy by Ms. S. Valentine besides the stakes and feelings have really been raised especially in this book. Wow what an emotionally highly erotic tantalizing salacious rollercoaster of a book. I was not only licking my lips in anticipation but biting off my nails as well due to the crazy plot twists and bends in the story there was also the mystical allure of the enigmatic, secretive handsome elusive Darion Milano. Yes he totally scared me but there was also the fact that he enticed and thrilled me almost as much as he did to the heroine Gabi.
Gabi has finally accepted a shaky relationship of sorts with Darion but things are not all roses and romance for the couple. Darion still has secrets that he keeps from Gabi especially since his ex wife Eva has come back into town planning to destroy them both. Unfortunately Gabi also has a secret that she holds from Darion that could destroy their budding shaky new relationship; will Gabi have the nerve to tell Darion risking all in the name of love or will everything coming crashing down .
There really is no comparison to Darion! Yes at times he seems similar to some cookie cutter billionaire heroes but Darion makes me feel almost naughty. I at times seriously thought I needed to grab a good scrub brush to clean all the lascivious scenarios written in the book. I also couldn’t help but blush at several of the scenes written. I do have to recommend though that this being the second book you really can’t read this as a standalone but it is so worth it to read both books. Even Gabi is a heroine I admired okay she is so much further from “vanilla” than I ever thought possible reserved but had a hidden strength about her and very resilient. I loved Lexi understood Gina better hoped something bad would happen to Lawrence and Eva. Ms. Valentine just pulled me into the book making these characters alive and I felt as though I belonged to Westhaven and black door that despite the length yes it is 500 odd pages didn’t even seem that long. I can only hope and wait for the continuation of the black door trilogy begging Ms. Valentine for another installment and a happily ever after to this wickedly seductive novel.
Gabi has finally accepted a shaky relationship of sorts with Darion but things are not all roses and romance for the couple. Darion still has secrets that he keeps from Gabi especially since his ex wife Eva has come back into town planning to destroy them both. Unfortunately Gabi also has a secret that she holds from Darion that could destroy their budding shaky new relationship; will Gabi have the nerve to tell Darion risking all in the name of love or will everything coming crashing down .
There really is no comparison to Darion! Yes at times he seems similar to some cookie cutter billionaire heroes but Darion makes me feel almost naughty. The story is fast paced and engaging. After the shock of Darion’s ex wife reappearing in his life, Gabi feels threatened. Will Darion betray her with Eva, can she satisfy him like Eva. Her decision to experience what the playrooms behind the Black Door have to offer is a direct consequence of her insecurity and desperation to be what Darion needs.
Gabi and Darion’s relationship remains risqué and physically motivated. These explicit scenes are vivid and illustrate the couple’s growing emotional dependence.
The aftermath of Eva’s arrival is relived in the first half of the book, before the story returns to the present and Gabi’s experience behind the Black Door. Gabi’s reaction is easy to empathise with. This is out of her comfort zone, and she doesn’t want to share Darion but doesn’t want him to give up his way of life for her. The fallout and her subsequent mistake, threatens their relationship and leads to her confession. Her minor mistake magnifies because of Darion’s trust issues and becomes a relationship breaker, if she tells him.
I loved the way Darion and Gabi realise they have changed through being together but still need to be true to themselves. The ending is dramatic and threatens what looked liked being a happy ever after. I definitely need to read book 3 now.

Darion and Gabi are back in action and better than before, having started a meaningful relationship, but there's the shadow of his exwife Eva looming over them, complicating their attempt as stability. Gabi's jealousy over Eva makes her realistic and excitingly likable. Who among us hasn't felt a bit uncomfortable when an ex pops into the picture? Oh, there's also the fact that Darion used to bang all the dancers at his club. Obviously, this gives Gabi, and us readers, a lot to worry about.
Darion, the lovable cad, admits that Eva is his complete match; dirty, equally as devious, and ruthless in their shared business. He even finds himself altering a bit when confronted with her, his mind drifting away of squeaky-clean Gabi and towards sultry Eva who was never afraid to be kinky. And Eva knows it. She can smell his arousal and uses it to her advantage as she makes it clear that she's in town to stay. As you read the book you wonder who Darion will choose, what will become of the club, and what secret Gabi is hiding.
This book, like the last, is written in dual POV, giving us some insight into the feelings and motivations of both Gabi and Darion. Not to say that Valentine doesn't give us plenty of tension and uncertainty to sink our teeth into. Overall, I found this book way more involved and enjoyable than the last. Probably because I went into it invested in Gabi and Darion's relationship and I was dying to know where the cliff hanger from His Confession left us. Once again, I suggest this series to readers who are dipping their toes into the world of erotica. It's super spicy, but still gives you a lot of developed characters, as well as a great story line.

We left off on a cliffhanger and S. Valentine knew how to deliver that.

Now that we have the basic information on who Gabriella Woods and Darion Milano are, I bet you are falling in love even more with the thought. As soon as the early reviews of how kinky Darion Milano's blood really ran, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
By the end, I was fanning myself with how hot and sexy Her Confession leaves us.
I am such a protagonist promoter and very rarely will I enjoy the antagonist in the story. In Her Confession I fell in love with Gabi even more. We all look for book boyfriends (Don't you dare lie to me) but I kept anticipating on what GABI was going to do next. Not the Darion Milano. No matter how daring and sexy and tempting as he may be.

Straight off the back of finishing His Confession, I dove straight in to this the second book in the series. I was keen to see where Darion and Gabi were headed.
They had taken their tentative steps towards a proper relationship but with the spectre of Darion’s ex Eva looming over them, could they keep their relationship on solid ground or was this devious woman out of what they shared together.
Eva presence pushes all Gabi’s buttons, and in a way I sort of liked that she had the same feelings that I think I would have in a similar situation, being confronted with women who have slept or at least been intimate with the man that you have given your heart too is only ever going to be traumatic, but was it founded or was it just her imagination feeding her jealous streak?
But can she keep her temper and man in check or will Darion revert to type and let his sultry ex back into his life or will what he has with Gabi be enough?
I had everything crossed that he would do the right thing but Eva played dirty, she used every trick in her extensive repertoire to lure him back to her but did she get her wish?
This conflict will have you desperately flicking through the pages, eager to find out where his decision will be but in all the madness you will also begin to wanted what the heck is going on in Gabi’s head because it is obvious that Darion isn’t the only one with secrets? Oh the delicious irony!
I took more from this book that I did the first one, it was fabulously well written, with characters and situations that were brought to life with exquisite detail.

Her Confession is the second book in ( The Black Door Trilogy ) by S.Valentine ,and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this brilliant story. S. Valentine has given us a story that will grab our attention from start to finish, and then will leave us wanting more from this author. This story is amazing and the beginning of this book was brilliant and it left me needing to read on .What an emotionally high erotic roller coaster ride that this story will take you on. I was so excited to see just where Darion and Gabi were really heading. They had taken mystical steps towards a proper relationship ,but there's the specter of no other then Darion's ex Eva that hangs over their heads. But can they keep their sweet relationship on the ground ,or will this deceitful women come in between them and break them up. Eva is the kind of woman that can push all Gabi buttons in a way ,that would lead any woman to kick some butt. But just who will Darion pick to stay with Eva or the beautiful Gabi? As your reading you will wonder what will become of the club, and just what secret Gabi has been hiding? This story is written in dual P.O.V. which is good because it gives us some insight ,into Darion and Gabi's feelings and motivations of them both. This story is super spicy, and the development of the characters were well written and everything flowed smoothly. I could tell you more about this story ,but that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this amazing story, you won't be disappointed.

“Her Confession” is the second book from "The Black Door Trilogy" and sweet mother of god, just like the first one "His Confession" this one is freaking amazing.
Again the beginning of this book was brilliant because left me anxious and with some fear of being disappointed but I loved every word. There were so many unanswered questions, so many fears, doubts.
Why the past insists on coming to haunt us? Can we forget the pain and return to love and forgive those who hurt us so much?
I cannot stand the uncertainty, the doubt and I think if I were faced with a situation similar to this story I don’t think I could handle it the way the characters did . “Her Confession” is more intense and the hot scenes are a constant, which in my opinion is fantastic. I know, I know i'm a Kinky girl what can i say?
Will it be healthy to lie, to pretend we're a totally different person just so that our loved one is happy? Will it be beneficial to endure and live certain situations we hate for the sake of love?
Life takes many turns and you have to take risks, learn and live each day as if it were the last but at what cost?
Sophia I will be eagerly waiting for the next book, because you managed to end this book in a way that give me the goose bumps.
The best way I have to describe this book is with a quote from the author:
"Are you willing to give up the life you love for the love of your life?"
So?? Are you?? Seriously Sophia, hurry up with the next book because the wait will kill me slowly.

This is the second book in The Black Door Trilogy. The first book ended on a bit of a cliffhanger and in this book we continue with the story of Gabi & Darion.
Now that his confession was revealed we see if Gabi is willing to accept Darion for who he is. They seem to be on the right path enjoying each others company. The sex in this book is off the charts. Sophia definitely knows how to write hot, steamy, intense and just downright crazy sex. There is a lot of that in this book.
I wondered how many issues Darion's ex-wife Eve would cause now that she is back. She was someone I found myself hating. I wanted to throat punch her at times. I enjoyed reading Gabi as she tried to navigate her way through this "new" type of relationship seeing whether she would be able to adapt to Darion's lifestyle but also questioning whether she even should or not. The book actually made me want to tell Gabi to put her foot down. I did wish that there was a little bit more too Darion and Gabi in terms of their relationship it seemed that they spent most of their time having sex.
The ending got my blood pumping a bit as we see whether Darion & Gabi could come out this as a strong couple. I was a little giddy with excitement over that and had a few what the fuck and oh my fucking god get your damn shit together moments. Once again this book ends on a little bit of a cliffy. I am excited to see what next for these two and how it will all work out.
Overall good book 3.5 stars.

I read the first book in the series His Confession which ended on a cliff hanger of Darion's Ex-wife coming back onto the scene claiming she wanted the club sold, but did she also want her ex-husband back too.
Gabi was introduced to Darion's lifestyle in book 1 pushing her out of her comfort zone but because she loved him she was willing to try out different sexual fantasies for him. Darion loves her but his was of showing love is through sex. The sex between then is sizzling but can she compare to Eva the ex who is back on the scene and dying to get nails into Darion. Gabi is hiding a secret from Darion which she knows is going to put an end to their relationship.
Darion's life revolves around his club, booze, sex and an ex-wife he loves/hates. His ex is weasels her way back into the club. Darion sets rules but she never listens. Darion loves Gabi but has serious commitment issues. He knows Gabi's not totally happy with the lifestyle he lives, but he thinks she's ok with it. Then Gabi gives him news that destroys him. We were left on a big cliffhanger at the end of His Confession. I was using all kinds of colorful words to describe the book and Ms.Valentine. But she definitely made it up to us in Her Confession! I generally dislike cliffhangers, but she really nailed this one. I jumped right back into the steamy, tangled, confusion that is Gabi and Darion's relationship. Gabi and Darion have been working towards building a relationship with Gabi learning to explore some of the sex desires Darion had and Darion learning the importance of better communication and a monogamous relationship. Things are going good until Darion's ex wife turns up wanting her half of their club and Darion! I love the way the characters have developed. Ms. Valentine has brought them to life with a vengeance. Every time I think Darion is the one I'm most enthralled with Gabi goes and does something or says something and I know she's the star of the book. Even the secondary characters have came to life and I have developed an interest in them. I'm hoping there will be more stories starring some of the dancers and bartenders. I can not wait to read part 3 of this series, Their Confession. I am dying to read that Gabi and Darion get their HEA!

If you're looking for a sexy, we'll written series, with a fabulous plot ~ this is the series for you! I'd give this book 6 stars if they'd give me an extra star!
'Her Confession' is Book 2 in 'The Black Door Trilogy,' it's well written with an excitingly wicked plot.
There is so much wonderfulness that goes on in this book, I couldn't put it down. Darion and Gabi have a chemistry that sizzles off the page.
After Darion reveals 'His Confession' I found myself pulling for the couple, hoping that their road to happiness would be smooth....but noooo! Darion's ex-wife shows up ~ I really hated her from the beginning.
