Well …well..well. This was certainly a hot…hot book and certainly different than what I am used to reading. I will say if you are not into or easily offended by M/F/M, M/M/F, M/M, or F/Multiple partners then this might not be the book for you. Overall though, with the exception of the final scene, it was fairly tastefully written. You already have two men in love with each other but they never acted on it, until they meet Mariam. Mariam is hired as a coach, for the Birmingham Rebels. This is a team what you might consider as being put out to pasture. They are all sort of misfits brought together to become a reputable team. Cass is immediately attracted to Mariam. Where Cass goes, Beau goes. Since Cass wants Mariam, so does Beau. They come as a package. Mariam has always had a fantasy of having more than one partner at a time but because of a previous experience she has not acted on it any further. But Cass and Beau are able to win Mariam’s trust and heart. She is the one who points out the true feelings Cass and Beau have for each other and encourage them to go for it. Of the two, Cass is definitely the dominant male, with a temper, while Beau is the sweet caring one. The secondary characters add an additional fun aspect to the story line. Even though this is a sports story, it is all about the football players and not the football game. I hope in the future installments you get to see the team come together and become a winning NFL team. Look forward to reading about the other players.

Definitely not your typical football story!! What I liked - the sex was sizzling hot and intense. Good thing because there was a lot of it! The characters were interesting. Loved Beau, Marian was ok but I did love the idea of a female football coach, Cass a bit gruff and I never really warmed up to him. What I didn't care for - I thought the characters could have been better developed. Especially the relationship between Cass & Beau. The story didn't really have any depth too it. I didn't really see much of a plot. Overall I walked away thinking that was OK and honestly will probably forget it.

ARC provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. I have never read a Samantha Kane book that I didn’t like. Most of the ones I’ve read have been historical/regency stories so this one being set in present day in the word of football was different. I’m not a sports fan but boy did I love reading about the hot players on this team. I thought it was pretty cool that our heroine was on the coaching staff of an NFL team. Marian has suffered a trauma in her past and it impacts a bit on her new job with the Rebels. Cass is a leader on the team and the other players look up to him. Most of the players on this team have had problems in their past and the Rebels are considered their last chance to play for an NFL team. Beau is Cass’s best friend; he is three years sober but the media has trouble letting him leave his past behind. Cass and Beau have never admitted their feelings for each other. They feel an instant attraction to Marian and they both want her and she wants them. They have a lot of things to overcome for their relationship to work out. The ménage sex is HOT!!! I’m looking forward to more stories in this series. This one is a standalone with no cliffhanger.
