Democrats’ unforgivable insult to cops during Tuesday night’s convention ‘will cost them votes’

Conservative radio host Kevin Jackson found it “frightening” that Democrats would allow the mother of Michael Brown on stage at the Democratic National Convention.

“To have that lady come speak when her son was a criminal who tried to kill a police officer is a travesty,” he said on Fox News’ “The Kelly File” on Tuesday. “It is a slap in the face to law enforcement and there is no other way to talk about that.”

Brown’s mother, Lezley McSpadden, appeared on stage at the Convention Tuesday as part of the group “Mothers of the Movement” which includes women whose children were victims of gun violence or police action. Brown was killed by police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson in 2014.

Jackson blasted Democrats for “pandering to blacks,” by not having a truthful balance of victims’ families represented on the platform.

“In 2015, 6,000 black people were killed and a  majority of them were killed by other blacks,” Jackson noted. “Did they tell any of those tragic stories?”

“The police officers are under tons of scrutiny and the criminals in this country are under very little scrutiny,” Jackson added.

Democrats’ lack of support for law enforcement, especially in light of recent deadly attacks on police officers, will cost them votes Jackson believed.

“What Hillary Clinton and the Democrats are doing, quite honestly, is scandalous and it’s shameful,” he said.
