In addition to the overall pro-Hillary Clinton Clinton tenor at the Democratic Party, the emails offer other insights in to U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Weston, as national party chairwoman.

In a May 17 email, she expressed frustration with Sanders’ campaign manager Jeff Weaver.

She was responding to an email telling her about Weaver appearing on TV to talk about protests at the Nevada Democratic convention.

“Damn liar. Particularly scummy that he barely acknowledges the violent and threatening behavior that occurred,” she wrote.

In another email, when informed that Weaver said the Sanders campaign should push on to the convention, Wasserman Schultz wrote, “He is an ASS. DWS.”

On May 18, she was furious when Mika Brzezinski said on the MSNBC program “Morning Joe,” which she co-hosts, said Wasserman Schultz should resign as party chairwoman.

Wasserman Schultz ordered an aide to contact the president of the cable network. ” This is the LAST straw. Please call Phil a Griffin. This is outrageous. She needs to apologize,” Wasserman Schultz wrote.

She also wrote a complaint email to Chuck Todd, the host of NBC’s “Meet the Press.” The email subject line was, “Chuck, this must stop.” In the email she told him to schedule a time to talk to her about the matter that same day.

In a May 24 email to DNC fundraiser Zachary Allen, Wasserman Schultz was looking for tickets to the Broadway show “Hamilton” from someone who held a fundraising event.

“Hey Zach, I think I mentioned to you briefly that I am planning a trip with my college roommates in December to NYC. It is for our 50th birthdays. Can you help me get 7 tickets to Hamilton from our friend who did the FR? We will be there from December 9-12. Let me know if there is anyone I need to speak with directly. Thank you so much.”

Allen told her requests aren’t usually fulfilled so far in advance, he’d need a credit card number, and the group might have to split up to get seven seats. Wasserman Schultz responded that “We would want to go on the same night but we don’t have to sit all together.”
