Rice and LSU added two additional games to their series reboot.

Rice hosts LSU in 2020 at NRG Stadium and the Owls make a trip to Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La., in 2024. That's in addition to the meeting between the teams scheduled for Nov. 17, 2018 in Baton Rouge – their first meeting since 1995.

Rice and LSU have a storied history against each other, meeting 55 times on the gridiron with the series beginning in 1915.

LSU holds the all-time advantage at 36-14-5 with wins in the last five games. Rice last defeated LSU in 1980 in a 17-7 win at Rice Stadium.

Rice continues beefing up its non-conference slate. For now, the Owls' 2024 non-conference schedule includes a date at Northwestern and LSU and a home game against Boise State.

Stanford is on the schedule this season and next. Rival Houston returns to the schedule next year and in 2018. Pittsburgh joins the fray in 2017, too.

Army, Baylor, Wake Forest, Oklahoma State, Hawaii and USC dot Rice's future non-conference schedule as well.
