GOQii debuts new fitness band with NFC support, subscription starts from Rs 1999 for 3 months

GOQii, the homegrown wearable maker has introduced a new fitness wearable band. It features a sleeker design with enhanced OLED display.

The band comes with an integrated charger, which can be plugged into any standard USB port. It supports NFC and will also be able to make payments. This feature is currently available only for Axis Bank account holders. GOQii claims, battery life on the new band will last minimum of 2-weeks on a single charge.

Along with the second generation band, GOQii has announced health features such as the Health Risk Assessment, Health locker, Health Risk Assessment and Diagnostics on its platform. The company today announced partnerships with Thyrocare and Max Healthcare. This will allow users to see their diagnostic data from Thyrocare directly from within the Goqii app. This new version of Goqii app will be available on August 5th.

Finally, GOQii has slashed the subscription price of its service to Rs. 1,999 for three months, Rs. 2,999 for six months, and Rs. 3,999 for 12 months.
