Baylee Curran, the actress and former beauty queen who accused Chris Brown of aiming a gun at her during a gathering at his Tarzana home, is discovering the limelight can get hot.

Curran called 911 Tuesday at 3:11 a.m. and said she needed help. A few hours later she sat down for several television interviews to give her account of what happened. It didn’t take long for the media to dig into her past and uncover unsavory details including a brush with the law and having a beauty pageant title yanked.

Curran’s most recent problem came on July 5, when she was stripped of the Miss California Regional 2016 crown she won on April 1. That title made her eligible to compete in the U.S.A. Ambassador Pageant, a charity driven organization that helps young women develop leadership, integrity, character and confidence while participating as contestants. A pageant official said Wednesday that Curran failed to fulfill her duties.

“It was breach of contract,” said Lowana Crawford, president and founder of the Tri-Valley Pageants, which holds a series of events around the Southern California area.

Crawford declined to provide details of Curran’s transgressions because an investigation is ongoing.

But a source with knowledge of the dispute said Curran lost the title after a series of racy photos emerged, plus, the source said, she was not honoring her community commitments.

Curran is listed as a host on the US Global Business Events website. Her bio states that she was born and raised in Yorba Linda, is an accomplished horse rider and was named 2010 Miss Norco HorseWeek Rodeo Princess, 2010 Jr. Miss Lake Elsinore and 2011 Jr. Miss Hesperia Rodeo Queen.

The company’s website lists a San Fernando Valley phone number but no address. The company did not return a call or respond to an email request for information.

Curran has been just as difficult to track down as US Global Business Events.

But in an interview with entertainment show “Extra” posted online Wednesday, she appeared miffed by some of the negative questions.

“I hope the truth does come out because I don’t lie. I would never lie.” she said. “I don’t need the publicity.”

Brown was arrested for alleged assault with a deadly weapon after an hours-long standoff with the LAPD, and has since been released after posting $250,000 bail.

Now comes word that Curran also has had a scrape with the law.

“She is wanted for an October 2013 grand larceny which took place inside of the Plaza hotel,” the New York Police Department’s office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information said in an email Wednesday.

According to published reports, Curran was vacationing at the hotel with two friends.

Two women — one of whom was reportedly Curran — entered the other friend’s hotel room after a dispute and ended up stealing the third woman’s purse.

Security gave chase and Curran reportedly dropped the $1,000 Louis Vuitton purse, but apparently fled with its contents – $200 in cash, credit cards and a Michael Kors wallet.

She was gone by the time police arrived.
