In case you missed it, Evan Blass wants to make sure you got the message.

The noted tipster, leaker and venturebeat.com tech writer wants everyone to know that he's sticking with his prediction of a September 16 US retail release of the newest iterations of Apple's flagship smartphones.
If this holds true, then it will likely confirm another rumour that Apple will hold its special launch event for the devices - widely expected to be called the iPhone 7 and will come, as with the 6 and 6s, in 4.7- and 5.5-inch options - on September 9, the same date as when the iPhone's two most recent predecessors were officially unveiled. Others, however, have blocked out September 7.
Looking back on 2014 and 2015, the iPhone 6 models started selling on on September 19, while the iPhone 6s devices hit shelves a bit later on September 25.
Apple's UAE PR team does not comment on speculation.
But that's not the only thing making waves: Word has it that a new iPad may also be announced alongside the iPhone 7, just like what happened last year with the iPad Pro and iPad mini 4.
Unfortunately, there is no hard evidence on this - but if it does happen, expect some major upgrades on Apple's tablet. And it could see the usual October roll-out as well.
And by the way, we may also get to see the new Apple Watch 2, thanks this photo:

That's a battery pack - said to be a larger one at 334mAh - that is ready to make its way to power Apple's wearable device by a substantial 36 per cent more (from 246mAh for the current Watch's 42mm variant).
Apple never fails to make September a month to look forward to.
