Fire chief: Welsh residents living in low-lying areas along Lacassine Bayou should evacuate

WELSH, LA (KPLC) - Welsh residents living in low-lying areas along Lacassine Bayou should evacuate, Welsh authorities said.
"They need to monitor the water and get out of those areas now," Welsh Fire Chief John G. Hall said.
The water has risen over the banks, he said.
