Harambe has touched the lives of millions and inspired everything from video games and musicto shot glasses and male nudity. And yet the legend has yet to make it to a feature film. Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh wants to change that, provided he gets enough retweets.

As of this writing, Kavanaugh is over a quarter of the way to his goal and as determined as ever. He’s weighing casting random retweeters and has even started crowdsourcing the movie’s title and genre.

Something strange happened in between the idle thoughts and tweets featuring full headlines and article links, though. Kavanaugh started to get a bit manic in his Harambe obsession, mimicking the fervor of pharma douche Martin Shkreli, who went from vowing to resurrect the silverback gorilla to wanting to be fused with him.

It remains to be seen whether Kavanaugh is committed to the whims of his fans, who desperately want an action comedy about the ape who died titled More Than A Gorilla. Given Relativity’s tumultuous run and recent bankruptcy, something tells me Kavanaugh should give the people what they want. After all, one million (or more, fingers crossed) retweeters can’t be wrong, right?
