“These Four Walls”, the beautiful second single from the stunning singer and pianist Jessica Rhodes showcases her unique blend of soul and pop which has already seen her billed alongside the likes of Florence And The Machine, Maroon 5 and Iggy Azelia. The harrowing new track is inspired by the story of a close friend who was wrongly convicted, spending the last 3 years in prison. Taken from Rhodes’ forthcoming EP released later this year, the effortlessly powerful second single “These Four Walls” follows the satisfyingly honest soul-pop anthem, “Who You Are”, announcing the arrival of Jessica Rhodes as a future sensation. “These Four Walls” was tracked at the legendary Rockfield Studios (Coldplay, Paolo Nutini, KT Tunstall) under the guidance of veteran producer Matt Butler (Phil Collins, Luther Vandross, Paul McCartney). Keen to keep Jessica’s music as unprocessed as possible, Butler highlight’s Rhodes’ impressive vocal range with entirely live production offering a genuine alternative to today’s female pop artists. “We wanted to give the listener that ‘Live Lounge’ experience, as if the band were playing right in front of you when you listen to the single” - Jessica Rhodes 2016 has been a busy year for the spectacular group with over 150 shows supporting the likes of Radio 2 regular Blair Dunlop, Radio 1 favourites WSTRN and playing ahead of Jeff Lynne’s ELO. Jessica Rhodes continues the hard work with future supports lined up with The Sons of Pitches – winners of BBC2 TV’s ‘The Naked Choir’ and shows at the Genting Arena Live Forum Stage playing ahead of the global phenomenon Justin Bieber and the legendary Four Tops and The Temptations. Combining modern pop influences such as Jess Glynne and Emeli Sande with classic artists such as Tracey Chapman and Fleetwood Mac, it’s no wonder that Rhodes has already caught the attention of the music world with exclusive live sessions and multiple plays with BBC Introducing.
