She only wants his sperm. What could go wrong?

Georgia Armstrong is on the hunt—on the hunt for a man. It’s not what you think, though. She’s not looking for love, friendship or companionship. Georgia wants a baby, and she’s on the hunt for a sperm donor. Except her plan is to have the sperm donated the good old-fashioned way. What could possibly go wrong?

Henry Marsh knows what he wants, and a wife and family are not it. He doesn’t know where the blonde bombshell came from, and he doesn’t know what she was thinking when she came up with her plan. And he especially doesn’t know why he agreed to help her.

Business quickly turns into pleasure and the lines are blurred as Henry and Georgia begin to break all the rules.

How far will Georgia go to become a mother, and what will it cost her? And has Henry finally put his member some place he shouldn't?

I liked the heroine in the beginning she knew what she wanted and went for it, I didn't care for the hero. Lol
He didn't want to be married and have kids in some sense I understood that from him but then he decided to help the heroine but he still didn't want to be part of his kid's life if the heroine got pregnant.
Like I said I liked her but I felt like she gave into the hero on how he didn't want any kids, she did in fact gets pregnant but she has a miscarriage I felt sorry for her because she did really wanted a baby.

Do I believe in his love for her? I honestly don't know! Throughout the book he kept saying he didn't want a wife and kids.

Safety: I have my doubts with the hero, no mention if he was with OWs during the time the heroine was supposed to call him to scheduled the times that they were supposed to sleep with each other to conceive the baby.
He took a woman to his friend wedding the same wedding she went to because her friend was the one getting married. He didn't do anything with this OW but I still didn't like it.

I have really come to love Stephanie Smith’s Try Again Series. Whatever It Takes is the fourth book in this series and I am really hoping it isn’t the last book. There are still 2 more characters I would love to read stories about (Julianne and Rachel).

As I have said before with this series….As each book has been released Stephanie has outdone herself from the book before. Each book just keeps getting better and better. Her writing style has improved so much since I have read book 1 in this series.

I love that she has been able to continue to give us interesting and fun storylines and the cast of characters that we have loved from the beginning. Each of these books can be read as true standalones, but you will see past characters and couples from all the previous books. You won’t be lost in any of the books if you don’t read the previous books, you will just get a better emotional connection and understanding of all the characters in this series.

As with the last book in this series (Book 3) we get a Dual POV in this book. I loved that we got more of both POV’s with this book. I love knowing what both characters are thinking as the story progresses. I thought this book was a sweet and sexy story between two people who have their goals set for what they want in their future and aren’t afraid to go after them. What happens when you enter into an agreement and somewhere along the way feelings and emotions get involved?? What happens when your dreams for the future don’t match that of your partners?? Can one or the other give up their dreams just to be with the other one?? These questions are all answered in this book, but you have to read it to get them ;)

In this book we follow the journey of Henry and Georgia. Georgia is the BFF of Lana (Book 3) who is Tate’s (Book 2) sister. We met Georgia in book 3 because she is Lana’s friend and co-worker. Henry is a club owner and to be honest I don’t remember meeting him in any of the other books, but he does have a connection to this group of friends, I’m just not going to be the one to tell you how or with who. That is revealed in the story. Georgia has always wanted children, but as she has been getting older she is finding that it might be something she has to take charge of and do on her own. So she sets out looking for a “sperm donor”. This is how she meet Henry. Georgia goes to a club and Henry walks up to her to get to know her. How will Henry react when Georgia drops her baby bomb on him?? Will he agree to her arrangement?? Read this book to find out.

As with the previous books we get to see all the other couples from this series. I always love reconnecting with old couples to see where they have gone since their story. Like I said before I really hope this isn’t the last book in this series. I think there is more story to tell with these characters.

I would recommend this book and series. Each book is about learning to open yourself up to love again. That finding the right person is always worth the risk!!

Whatever it Takes is book 4 in the Try again series and I have fallen in love with all of them. I read all 4 of these books in a short amount of time and do hope there are a few more characters who get their own stories. Each book that Stephanie writes in this series pulls you in more and more.

Although each book can be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading the entire series. You are pulled in right away and you get this connection with Georgia. Georgia is on a mission and nothing is going to stray her from it. Shes strong, independent and damn determined to have a baby. Henry although he was hunky and all around an awesome guy, there was part of me wanting a little bit more from him when this book ended. I didn't feel as if he proved himself enough with all the ups and downs he takes you on throughout the book. But the chemistry between the two of them is not one you can deny.

I cannot wait to see what Stephanie comes out with next.

This book is from a series but can be read as a standalone.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved Georgia, she's a strong independent woman who is determined to have a baby. The ways she went round that are a little different than what you'd expect but she was adamant about what she wanted and the lengths she'd go to to get it. On the prowl she meets the hunky Henry Marsh, he was definitely a breathe of fresh air. No matter how much he tried he just couldn't keep away from Georgia. Their chemistry was toe curling hot.

This is my first book by author Stephanie Smith and it definitely won't be my last. A fun sexy read worth one clicking. ^_^

Really fun and quick read. It's expected but not - such a cute story with some great twists and turns. Terrific characters that just utterly make the story come alive. If you need a HEA that's not your typical story this is it.

Review:
This is the fourth book in the Try Again Series. We met Georgia in the other books in this series. She is the best friend who has watched all her friends meet the men of their dreams and start to have their families. Georgia has given up on finding the perfect man, but not on starting her own family. Now she just has to find a guy to give her the sperm that she needs with no commitment towards her or her child. Henry Marsh is a self made man who is attracted to Georgia from the beginning. At first he turns down her proposal. He has no desire to ever get married or have children of his own, but something about Georgia makes him want to protect her and give her what she wants. Making a baby without getting attached proves to be harder than it seemed. I did enjoy this story, as I did the rest of the series. The chemistry between Georgia and Henry was pretty hot. The pacing was steady. This was a very easy book to read. You will be happy to get you HEA. There wasn’t much in the way of character development. I don’t think that we learned to much about either character’s background.

WHATEVER IT TAKES is the story of one woman willing to do whatever it takes to have a baby. Georgia isn’t getting any younger and she knows her time is running out if she wants to have a baby. She can’t afford to go through IVF, so that leaves her with the only option of getting pregnant the old-fashioned way. But she’s a realist who knows that by the time she finds a man who she could settle down with, it might be too late. So she’s come up with a plan that even she thinks is crazy: find a man willing to knock her up, who will then walk away when it’s done. Henry ends up being that man. He has no desire for marriage or children, but he’s happy to try and make her dream come true.

Despite her crazy plan, I quite liked Georgia. She had a dream and she chased it with everything she had, because she was determined to make it come true. I can respect that. I liked Henry, that he was very upfront about what he did and didn’t want out of life. However, I didn’t like that after he acknowledged his feelings for Georgia, he expected her to give up her dream of having a baby to be with him, but not once did he consider doing the same for her and I was so happy when Georgia stood up to him about it. Luckily for Henry, he redeems himself in a huge way.

WHATEVER IT TAKES is told in dual POVs and while it’s part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone. I did find it hard to believe that Henry⎯a man in his thirties⎯didn’t know how a woman’s cycle worked, or that Georgia believed her ability to fall pregnant was gone after suffering a setback. Their lack of knowledge in regards to human reproduction was a little concerning. The story itself moves at a fairly quick pace and is overall a fun and lighthearted read that comes with a lovely HEA.
* Note: This story includes scenes about the joys of pregnancy, as well as its dangers and risks, which may be triggers for some readers.

This is the forth book in this series and while each can be read as a standalone I recommend reading them in order to get the full picture. Georgia wants a baby and she doesn’t want to wait around to find her Mr. Right so she can up with a plan. The plan is a little crazy but she has fully thought it through. She is going to find a guy to father her baby and do it the old fashion way but then they won’t have to see each other anymore. What guy is going to agree to that? Henry likes his life. He has never wanted to get married nor have kids. Henry meets Georgia at a club he knows. He is taken by her right away. Then he learns of her plan and thinks she is crazy. After watching her tell several other men her plan and being a bit jealous and worried one of them may say yes he comes back to her and agrees to her plan. After all it’s not like he is going to have to be a part of the child’s life. The only problem is that they may like each other more than this plan has room for. Georgia likes Henry but he is adamant that he doesn’t want children and that’s all Georgia wants. Henry is drawn to Georgia and finds himself wanting to be around her more and more. But could he be enough for her, would she give up having a child for him? Neither was looking to fall in love but that maybe just what they get. Would Georgia give up the one thing she truly wants just to be with Henry? I loved this book so much. This series is fantastic and I couldn't wait to read this book. Stephanie has done it again. I was drawn in right away. Both Georgia and Henry learn about themselves and what they really want in life. I loved getting to revisit with the other characters from this series. Georgia is torn. She loves watching her friends getting everything they want and finding happiness but sad because she wants those things as well. Henry begins to reevaluate what he wants after meeting Georgia. I highly recommend this book and this series. I read the whole book in a few hours and wanted more.

The premise seemed simple find a guy willing to father her child, easy right? Errr not at all how Georgia expected it to go at all.

We get right into thick of things. They have a mutual agreement. To be honest I found this a bit strange to just jump into it all right away pretty fast. No build up, nothing personal it felt so cold. Well I suppose that process is just the way Georgia went about it. I question what's going on in Henry's head at that time. He seemed game for it all without protecting him. I'm sure stuff will come out later on.

I found it hard to warm up to Georgia being stiff and all. I feel like the whole felt forced. I have no idea how those things no really but it seems single minded of how she does things. I didn't like how she treated him either, felt like she was using him although he wanted to help she could be nicer. I thought Henry was nicer and more thoughtful all throughout. They could be interesting without the huge thing hanging over their heads.

I loved the first few books in this series so it pains me that Georgia was so difficult at the start that I couldn't get into it. I honestly thought the potential of the blurb would be interesting. I know my attention was caught by it. I feel towards the end it got more likable but I didn't like them as much together it felt contrived.

I really loved this book. It forms part of a series but can easily be picked up as a standalone which is fantastic.
While I can't relate to the main characters deep seated desire to become a mother, I can understand chasing what you've always wanted. One of my favourite things about this book is that it gets you interested straight away, there is no waiting chapters and chapters for the real story to begin. Right from the beginning I felt connected with the main character Georgia and I was cheering her on to get what she was after. She was clear about her mission from the beginning and I was hooked straight away.
Throughout the book I was completely drawn into Georgia's world. I felt her desperation while chasing her dreams and the total despair when her world appeared to be crumbling. The story was compelling and I had to know more.
However, I was disappointed when it came to an end. I was so caught up in Georgia and Henry's story I couldn't believe it was already over. As the story was written from both perspectives I felt I needed a few more chapters from Henry to completely convince me of his true feelings. I had been through all the ups and downs with Georgia and craved more from Henry.

Whatever It Takes is book four in the Try Again series. It can be read as a standalone. This one is the first book I read by the author. I had the moment of panic after I got the book and realized it was a book four but no need to worry, it truly can be read without knowing anything about the previous books.

Georgia is a little unconventional and a little crazy. She wants a baby but not a husband or baby daddy. She just want sperm but she does want to go to a sperm bank. I liked Georgia. She doesn't just come up with a half baked plan, she has it all planned out. I liked that she had a dream and would do whatever it took to make that dream come true.

Henry doesn't want a wife or to ever have kids. When he see Georgia, there is an attraction. He hears her plan and thinks she crazy. He agrees to help her. At first, I really couldn't figure out why he would help her because it didn't seem to fit him. Their life goals didn't seem to match but they had great chemistry. It was suppose to be no feelings, no connection, and no getting to know each other but feelings get involved and lines get crossed. It's a good read that will pull you into the crazy world of Georgia.

I loved this book and I love this series! Even though each book is a standalone, I love the fact that I “know” the minor characters and their background stories.
But if you haven’t read the earlier books in this series, I have two things to say. One, you can read this book without needing to read the earlier books and two, you should totally read the earlier books in this series simply because they are good.
I love the characters in this book. I must admit I didn’t quite understand Georgia and her longing to have a baby without a partner, but that didn’t stop me feeling upset when her dream of having a baby seemed to be just that… a dream.
Whatever It Takes is a book that takes the reader on a journey, a journey of feelings, mostly feelings surrounding Georgia. But Henry also managed to elicit a few feelings within me, some good, some not so good. Okay, I did get a big angry with him. But to tell the truth I wanted to know more about him, more about his background.
I gave Whatever It Takes four and a half stars.

Whatever It Takes, is the fourth title in the Try Again Series, although it can easily be read as a standalone.

This pair of characters grab your attention right from the very start of their story. Georgia has such a strong desire to be a mother and such unwavering determination to meet her goals, it's completely endearing and makes for an engaging plot. I felt connected to her character and could completely comprehend and feel her despair when it falls apart.

I enjoyed Henry's character, but felt his change of heart was very abrupt. Even though this book was told from a dual point of view I wanted more of Henry. I wanted to know more of what made him tick. The ending felt kind of hurried to me and I wanted more of their story.

Overall this story is well written, the chemistry between the hero and heroine is intense, passionate and steamy! I look forward to reading more of Stephanie Smith's work in the future.

It was all about a baby but it turned out to be about so much more. I loved this story. I loved the characters. You have Georgia who wants nothing more than to have a baby going to extremes to get what she wants. But who would have thought that the gorgeous man she met at a bar would actually agree to help her out. Henry, what was he thinking agreeing to father a strangers child. Little did he know that this women will have him tide up in knots in no time. But what happens when feelings come into play?
The attraction instant, the chemistry smoking hot between them. I loved them together. I was intrigued from the get go. A wonderful story that will have you captivated through out.

Another tremendous read by Stephanie Smith. This little lady sure knows how to twist your heart and make you stop breathing. For just a moment anyway.

Its not all fun and games for Georgia a school teacher and Henry a night club owner, commencing with how they meet. But believe you me there is enough to make you want to gobble the whole book up in one read.

Its part four in the Try again series, but can certainly be read as a stand-a-lone.

Thank you Stephanie Smith (Author).

Stephanie not only breaks your heart with this book but she quickly mends it all back together.

I loved loved loved Henry. He blew my away with his Alpha male tendencies. He took care of her from the start and refused to leave her side through it all.
Georgia drove me nuts sometimes. Only because it she really refused him wanting to help.

I loved this book!!!! 5 stars!

Debbie's Review 4.5 STARS

This is the fourth book in this series but can be read as a standalone. Author Stephanie Smith did not disappoint with this one either. I loved the third book and was supper excited to find out at the end of it that Georgia was getting her own book and it was the next book in this series. Loved her character and could not wait to read her story.

Georgia’s story was a little more serious and pulled at your heartstrings. Georgia was done with the dating scene and wanted to have a baby still even though it seemed like the traditional way was out of the question. So Georgia takes matters into her own hands and decides to go out and find a baby daddy.

“Phase one: Find a guy. Phase two: et the contract signed. Phase three: Medical tests and clearances. Phase four: Make a baby. It doesn’t sound that hard, but I think it may be trickier that I anticipated.”

That is where Henry enters the picture. I had a love/hate relationship with Henry through out most of the book and there were times I wanted to junk punch him. I loved his alpha side but I wanted to shake some sense into him several times too. He was just so darn stubborn. The chemistry and banter between the two of them was fantastic though. I loved how she stood up for what she believed and didn’t take his crap.

The book moved at the perfect pace and loved having the whole gang in this book as secondary characters too. They added just the perfect amount of humor and side story to plot. This book had me hooked from start to finish but when I book is written just so well you can’t be surprised. No unnecessary fluff just details that kept me wanting to keep going and see what was going to happen next. I am looking forward to reading whatever book this author releases next. I love her writing style.

Georgia wants one thing, a baby. She just needs a sperm donor, and she's not asking for a relationship. She goes to a bar to try and find someone crazy enough to tell her they'll do it...enter Henry.

Henry is happy with the way his life is. He runs a successful bar and has no desire to get married or have a family, but he can't seem to tell Georgia no even though her plan is batshit crazy.

Phase one: Find a guy. Phase two: Get the contract signed. Phase three: Medical tests and clearances. Phase four: Make a baby.

Talk about the most awkward situation...having sex with a random stranger just so you can have a baby. Someone you just met and had sign this very intense contract. Georgia thought very hard about all of this before she set her plan in motion, but maybe she didn't think about everything that could happen.

Henry thinks she is crazy but agrees because he doesn't want a family for himself and nothing will be expected of him. He wants to help her get her dream.

Things start to get tricky when there "agreement" starts to get mixed with "feelings."

I knew that a long time ago. But is she right? Would I be satisfied with just Henry? Would he be enough?

I loved this book a lot. I loved that Georgia knew what she wanted and went out and got it. She didn't care she wasn't in a relationship, she knew she wanted a baby more than anything. I love how Henry was willing to help even though he thought she was crazy.

Will Georgia get her baby she so desperately wants? Will Henry be okay with everything? Will they end up falling for each other? Will everything fall apart in the end?

Oh My Goshhhhh, this book completely broke my heart and then put it back together again, but we'll get back to that...

I didn't realize how much I missed the characters in this series, nor how much it would feel like I was going back home when I read it. There was not one part of this book that disappointed me, I loved each and every bit of the story. I felt actual heartache reading this story, I jumped up and rejoiced when it was needed, laughed my ass off so many times, and bawled my eyes out to the point of not being able to see the words clearly at other times.

Georgia and Henry have a chemistry that is OFF THE CHARTS!! Both of them are stubborn as hell, but oh so passionate, towards each other and towards what they want out of life. It was wonderful reading as they got to know each other and found out how to break down barriers.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!! XOXO

This book was super adorable. It is one of those stories that puts a quirky smile on your face and a warm feeling in your heart.

This is actually the first book I've read by Stephanie Smith and even though it is book four in the series it can absolutely be read as a standalone. I didn’t feel as if I missed out on any backstory. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I now want to go back and read more.

Georgia desperately wants to have a baby but she doesn’t have a partner to make on with. To fix this slight problem she comes up with a plan to find a man who is willing to help her make a baby the old fashioned way, but with no further attachments.

In comes Henry, a handsome and successful club owner who offers up his services. He is immediately drawn to Georgia and while he isn't quite sure why he agrees to her plan, he jumps right in,

"What?" her body straightens, her eyes wide once again. "You'll do it?"
"Yes. No. Yes."
"You can't be serious."
"I'll do it. I'll ... donate."

But now that the hard part is over and Georgia has her sperm, strings begin to form and eventually unravel in this no strings attached deal. There is drama, laughs and some great sexy action.

Stephanie Smith really kept my interest with this story. I loved the playful banter between both Georgia and Henry, it was funny and sweet and super sexy at times. I also loved the depth of both characters and how good their hearts were, even during the rough times.

A definite recommendation.

5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!

This is what I like to call a manic read. I laughed so hard and blubbered just as hard while reading this.
Georgia was absolutely crazy with her want to have a baby and the not-so-conventional way she conjures up to go about it was out there. My heart went out to her. She was strong and didn't put up with Henry's crap.
Henry was a little tougher sale for me. I didn't really like him at first. It was a love/hate thing for me. His was just so frustrating at times.
Together, there was undeniable chemistry and I just loved their banter.
I loved catching up with the rest of the Try Again gang. It's been a while since I've read a Stephanie Smith book and I have to say this was the perfect way to jump right back into her world(s). I can't wait to see what she comes out with next.
