CHICAGO – The death of Marlins starting pitcher Jose Fernandez sent shock waves through all of Major League Baseball on Sunday morning.
News spread shortly after it was announced that the young star was killed in a boating accident in Miami Harbor.
Since then countless tributes have poured in from fans, players and organizations in Major League Baseball as they remember the two-time All-Star who was the 2013 National League Rookie of the Year in Miami.
Here is how the Cubs and their players paid tribute to the pitcher.
